This format is brilliant! Vlog mixed with review. Don’t think I’ve seen anything like this but I don’t watch any other review pages than yourself, definitely something you should keep on doing.
I had to use locktite glue in order to keep the led holders on the back of my Asus monitor. The double sided tape loosens overtime due to the heat from the led strips.
Just got mine in the mail today. I'm not positive but I believe this particular one can work in conjunction with the other govee products like the glide etc.... Would love to see a video testing this function if so.
@@dadsquatch79 Just got home from work. About to unbox and setup. I have 4 other govee products on my desk. Ill update later with how well it works together.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE @C Smith It only allowed me to add 5 other govee products. I love the UI for adding where the 5 other govee products are located in your setup. I was up late so wasn't able to dial in the color/camera settings. I had issues with the camera matching what was on screen but im sure I can adjust it better. I think the biggest thing govee is missing is an app for Windows/Mac where you can match the colors of your monitor without the use of a camera. I know there's other software that allows you to use the api key with govee to match your monitor but it's a subscription based service.
Seriously great review video compared to others I've seen. Also suuuuuper curious about your friends RGB desk mat. Perhaps a video idea for the future? RGB mouse mats? If possible could you ask your friend what the mouse mat is?
Hey stumbled upon this video. Great review/vlog. I'm in similar situation with my setup. Right now I have two monitors and wondering if the g1 pro still is a good fit or if I should go just for the strips. Any suggestions?
Hey, awesome video, i'm thinking about to buy this DreamView by Govee, but i would like to know if we can remove like in the futur, the leds we strips behind the monitor? Thanks
I don't know if I missed you saying it but could you stick the camera at the bottom of the monitor if you don't want it at the top? If it's not designed I'm sure can somehow secure it that way and it would just work the same. Surely wouldn't know the difference
In theory I suppose it's possible, but I believe being on the top lets gravity work with the stick mount better, also not sure how the camera would perform in that way.
My monitor is 23.8 inches and the product is made for 24-32 inch monitors, do you think if the strip overlaps by a few inches the effect of the strips won’t work or it should be fine?
Quick question on this, do we need to turn off the other monitors for this to work properly. i current have a dual setup and i normally dont turn off the monitor next to it.
Yeah I’m really surprised that he didn’t address that, also I feel that b/c it’s on the computer they could of made a application to sync with the lights instead of using the camera for the tv version of this…
I think it'd be quite the conspiracy to believe it's going to record your pc screen. Nothing is impossible, but even so, in the extremely rare event that for some reason you were important enough to be the target of a hacker the quality of the camera is super lo-res, distorted and fisheye, it's sole purpose it so read color and brightness, it's hard to make out too much screen detail.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Hey thanks for replying and clarifying about the camera, and although it’s highly unlikely for individual person to be targeted by some big hacker group, it never hurts to be too careful every couple months we hear about the new hacking group stealing information from a tech giant. every time we put a new camera, microphone, Or any type of sensor really in our home it’s a risk that we take unfortunately, but It does ease some my concerns to know that the cameras aren’t Hi-Rez enough to make out anything but the colors of the screen, i’ve been looking at this for my living room tv for while but didn’t want to pull the trigger because of security concerns thanks for clearing that up. (It may be helpful to add that as a caption, in the description or as an addendum in the video as many other people may have the same concerns but odds are they won’t look inside the comments to see your clarification or not do it just a suggestion love your videos)
@@Mr.IRSmurt you have two options with these interactive lights. Camera synched or synch box synched. If you go with a synch box over camera, then all your video and audio would have to be passed through it from your source to your monitor for it to work. That's a bigger risk imo if someone really wanted to steal your data, all content gets passed through it as raw data.

Awesome, thank you! I figured it would help spice things up a bit as opposed to all the other reviews out there!

That's awesome to hear! You're gonna enjoy it, also great question. I'm curious about that too!
Im curious as well
It should be using Dreamview under Command in the app. Should be able to link 7 total compatible lights....

@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Thank you so much!
Ayooo I’m dying at your voice over impression 😂🤣😂 yo homie is hilarious!! Fancy stuff man. Just order this system for my setup thanks to the video.
Haha thanks Will! Sure it'll fit in well with the rest of your setup!
Great vid, awesome product. If I order now do I also get your friends workout program? 🤔
🤣 I've been asking for it myself now for weeks!!!
Thank you to Show that it also works with Monitors that are Not flat
I need that ocarina!!!
Ooo it's a good one!
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! You will not have much more room left for more goodies!! Love this.. 🚀
hahaha! Thanks for watching Delores,
Another product you’ve persuaded me to buy at 3:00 in the morning, your channel is very dangerous for me, haha!
Hahah! Appreciate the support Noah! Your space must be looking pretty futurist by now 😎
No Nvidia Surround on the triple monitors? 🙂 Nice lighting for sure 👍
Lol right!? Def nice lighting though!
Dig this big time, works good with gaming
Thanks Angory! You should build yourself a new rig and grab these light haha! I saw the Asus 3080 ti in stock the other day at Canada computers!
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE OH REALLY, time to browse a bit again. Thanks for the tip man!
I had the exact same background as him in the beginning of the vid

Depends if you wanna fill the room with light or not, the light bars really do wonders, especially if you have multiple monitors!
Do you think I would be able to buy this for the Samsung Odyssey g70a or would the camera and back strip not be compatible with my monitor?
I would love this but with only the led strip and not the 2 side bars. Strange that that doesn't seem to exist.
The 2 side bars are really what helps to light up the entire room.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE well what if I want a subtle light and not light up the room?
@@DX88 You can individually set the brightness, however, looks like the do make it without the side bars here: amzn.to/3uBiTyb

Will this work with a 21.5" monitor?
Great vid sir ✊🏾
Appreciate the support!
That’s the qricket guy!! I hope he is doing good out of jail!!
Probably how he got so jacked 🤣
Hey, awesome video, i'm thinking about to buy this DreamView by Govee, but i would like to know if we can remove like in the futur, the leds we strips behind the monitor? Thanks
Sure it can be removed.
can you hide that camera somehow? im not gonna use ambilight effect, i just want those leds to act like normal leds lol
From my link in the description they now sell a version without the camera.
Govee needs to upsize this for TVs. This kit also doesn't seem to work with most monitors.
Hey Thomas, they actually do make a larger version for TVs here: amzn.to/39ojdZQ - They also make an even larger version for 75-85 inch!
Can i use it on 34' Flat Gaming monitor ??? bcs the product support max 32' inch

My camera for my Govee immersion is under my TV in a tray surrounded by black river pebbles. You can't even see the camera....
My monitor is 23.8 inches and the product is made for 24-32 inch monitors, do you think if the strip overlaps by a few inches the effect of the strips won’t work or it should be fine?
Amazing !
Thanks!
Would it work on a 37inch monitor ? Im only interested on the camera not the lights i already have the govee light bars
The size opinion is more for the led strip. The camera can go pretty wide like the TV ones.
Quick question on this, do we need to turn off the other monitors for this to work properly. i current have a dual setup and i normally dont turn off the monitor next to it.
No, the camera just reads the colors from one monitor!
I have to Govee dreamview on my tv setup and its fuckin awesome 👌🏾
Glad to hear it! They make some great stuff!
