What motivates me is when the house gets too cluttered or too dirty. You've got a balanced philosophy; the people and relationships are the most important!
Cleaning my kitchen while watching this. I'm 8 months pregnant with an 18month old so your pep talk at the end was very appreciated. Trying to work from home full time, clean and be a mama can seem overwhelming at times but these videos are definitely great motivations. Thank you!🤗🙌

Can I offer a sock hack that works wonders? Give every kid (and every grownup) a mesh wash bag for socks. For kids you can say it’s because the socks like to hangout and party together in the wash 😂😉. When dirty socks get taken off they immediately go into the bag (can be on the floor of a closet, hung on a peg in a closet or even hung on a peg low down on the wall for kiddos). Then everyone’s socks stay together while washing AND drying. No more fallen sock soldiers!
A Sunday without watching a new video on your channel is not a real Sunday for me. It's really my highlight! Looking forward to see your basement upgrades :)
I have 4 boys (9,6,3,&9months), and I just recently started separating laundry by person.... This has made ALL the difference! I realized I spent so much time sorting the clothes. More laundry loads, but its much more efficient when folding and putting away. Each person has one towel that gets washed once a week with their clothes, and besides my husband and I, the kids bedding usually fits in with their laundry load too. Just a thought. 4 kiddos really tipped the "overwhelmed" feeling for me, and I have several years between them. I'd imagine 4 under 4 would be quite the experience :) .

I really enjoyed this video. I am one of those who think that I need to get so much done in a day, but this is impossible for me. I have major depression so there are days when it is only possible to get the basics done. On other days, the rare ones, I am able to vacuum most of the house and feel good about it. I am fortunate that my husband and I pick up after ourselves. It is mostly the dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping that are my problems areas. Despite my difficulties, I am grateful for what I can do. Thank you for the encouragement & knowledge that everything does not have to be done in a day. This video means a lot to me. It helps me with my depression. I now know that I can let go of the high expectations I have of myself. Thank you for what you have taught me. Sending you a virtual hug.

Matching socks has always been a challenge for me too! I tend to do little by little...when it comes to cleaning. Can’t wait to see the bathroom closet reno after it’s done!

I don't know how you do it! You're doing such a great job with 4 babies! And you're right do what you can and love and play with them babies. They're only little for a short time!
I love everything about laundry! I wash my socks in mesh laundry bags -- everyone who takes their socks off puts them straight into the bag in the hamper and no socks are ever lonely after washing. As for which rooms needs attention... We rearranged our bedroom to make room for our cot because we're expecting a baby. Then went on to declutter the hall storage closet and some other bits, and now the space intended for the cot is taken up by stuff that needs to be either donated or taken to the recycling centre. So waiting for the lockdown to end (I live in Scotland) to get all of that out of the bedroom.

I find that having a schedule and a routine keeps me on track
Even the days where I’m not that motivated I know exactly what I need to do on that day and not have to worry about getting everything done like change your sheets every Saturday and then change the girl’s sheets another day
It helps also with not getting overwhelmed but i know it’s easier said then done especially with two new babies

I have finally got my house organized enough where I have a better routine which is what is keeping everything clean. I try to get to it while I have a chance before I get tired or I dont want to do anything. 💜

Lol!, OMG! My first worst thing with laundry is sorting socks. I absolutely hate the sock part. The cricut machine is just too much fun! I think I too have labeled everything in my house. LOVE making home decor. now with the cricut. Thanks for the cleaning motivation and reminding me that my linen closet needs a reorganizing.

It’s the small kitchen pantry for me along with our small laundry room. Decluttered both of them yesterday. Made me feel good and hopefully it will help with over buying items which drives me CRAZY!

My partner has always taken his socks and after taking them off he puts them together as one, so I started to do the same. It's a pain to pull them apart putting them in the washer, but they at least come out together. Now if only our kids would do the same! Love your videos, always motivating. I like how you remind us that it's ok to do a little each day and that it's ok!

Hi Denise. I agree with you about the laundry that putting it away is the part I dislike the most, I might be weird but folding is my zen time and I just can't help smelling it and enjoying the fact I got it done and now there's just one more step to be done, the dreaded putting it away 😖. Right now I'm trying to deal with the fact I can't get my windows clean. The inside isn't a problem it's the outside. I live in Wyoming and it has been below freezing for a couple months straight. I had planned on doing another cleaning before winter set in (a late fall cleaning) but the snow and freezing temperatures had another idea. I usually try and do a rainex treatment late summer/ early to mid fall so they stay somewhat clean during winter but that didn't happen. I definitely know now why I started doing it 😂 Have a great week! Can't wait to see the updates on the master bath/ closet!

Your videos are some of the best motivation out there! I love how real you are!! Seeing this current season you are in makes me miss those baby snuggles and smells! My youngest baby will be 4 this week and it’s just so bittersweet! But then my oldest just turned 16 at the beginning of this month and I can’t imagine adding another and not ending up in the loony bin! 🤪🍻

Denise, you're awesome! Thank you for the reminder. I feel like I have gotten much better about giving myself grace and taking time to tackle things. I'm the same way I can't stand seeing stuff thrown around and just toys everywhere but at the same time I am trying to just stay realistic because having small kids and a spotless house just don't go hand and hand 😅😂. I am loving that cheetah print!! I love washing clothes but I don't like folding as much either lol. Can't wait to see how y'alls closet comes out! Thanks for sharing ❤️😊. Denise, your amazing!!, wife and mom and to me, just appreciate your honesty. Socks are the biggest nightmare along with silverware, a few less bed pillows will save you some time making your bed I had to take a brake for awhile. For me I really enjoy vacuuming but I hate the moving furniture part lol And just being in a clean house makes me feel so good. Even though hubby and I have a little 1 bd apartment, tidying it up makes me so happy!
