    Hey Lorena,
We haven't gotten in to FCPX, so we don't have the answer. These days we're mostly working in FCP7 (still) Premiere CC and Avid Media Composer. Nothing against FCPX -- just a very, very different paradigm from the more "track based" approach of 7, Premiere, and AVID. Maybe try posting on Creative Cow -- they have a lot of good people who could probably answer you.

Guys I need your help - can you tell me how to do this in the new Final Cut Pro X?
I coul do it in the old version of FCP but the new interface is different and for some reason I can't do it. When I import a high resolution clip into a smaller resolution timeline it changes the clips setting to match the timeline (or something like that) and the size is 100% although the clip is in a much a higher resolution. When I try to increase the clip size on the viewer it gets very blurred.
    Any idea wh

Does it still maintain a HQ resolution when uploading to RUclips?

This isn't working in FCPX (10.9). I have my timeline set to 1280x720p. When I drop a higher res clip into the timeline it automatically renders to 1280x720p. :-/ Anyone know how to change the settings? I can't seem to figure it out.

Now for the hard one. How can you do the opposite of this. Run 4 cameras and get it as if it's one camera. Like phosostitch in Photoshop.

+Kenny Advocat LOL - yes, more difficult. I believe there are programs that specialize in this, but if I were trying from scratch, I would shoot my four cameras on tripods in a grid as close as possible, take those four agnles into After Effects, then slightly scale and crop them to fit together, using the clone tool to hide the seams. If you have to do four hand helds, I'd try to build 4 gopros onto some kind of "grid rig" so they'll all moving the same relative to each other, and build that in After Effects. That said, I'm sure others on the web have done this in better ways. Good luck!
