Hey Taylor, of course this is just a matter of taste, but I bet you should try out another room mic! Mix it in softly.. condensers with distance of 2-3 meters work best, but SM58 is fine too when directed towards the drums. I like your tutorials! I'm hobby drummer and freelance mixing engineer. greetz

I like this approach, I just don’t have any room mics yet. Hopefully in the future!
