    For the sixth time, Im going to attempt my jeep renegade tomorrow morning using your method. I hope this works. Have seen all methods possible lol. I learn extremely fast, yet my windshield is just a monster.

      Hopefully it helps a bit, what troubles are you having?

      The fingers are just too stubborn to disappear. I only managed to do it almost right on my sixth attempt. But then, I was unable to place it inside the car because when I tried to place it it folded and left marks and stuff.
      Imma practice with my mom's Yaris in a few minutrs

      So were you able to get it all shrunk on the outside tho with no fingers left? And when installing. Are you reverse rolling it? How are you attempting to transfer it into the vehicle?

      @@cuttingedgewindowtinting5615 Well, I arrempted to do it today as well, but miserably failed. I think dry sherinking doesnt work for me, because yesterday's work was far better and it was wet.
      I have a long way to go. The lateral windows aren't super easy either, but I've managed to do it perfectly in my last few attempts.
      However, the frontal windshield is just a nightmare!

      Hola, todo depende de que tengas a tu alcanse. Y recordando que en el proceso de aprender vas a desperdisiar mucho material tambien. Nosotros usamos Xpel. Para aprender no lo recomiendo porque es un poco caro. Pero ay muchos otros que son de muy Buena calidad que al igual puedes usar en el proceso ademas de poder ofrecer a tus clientes

    I always wind up getting creases. Flex Film feels like rubber compared to other tints, and feel like it's difficult to work with. We use flex film for practice and Xpel for the real deal. Xpel being as expensive as it is, I'd rather use the other stuff lol

    • @cuttingedgewindowtinting5615
      @cuttingedgewindowtinting5615  2 года назад +2

      That's a good call. Usually the least expensive films are harder to work with. So when you move to a better quality film. It will feel easier since you have been working with a lesser film. So it will go smoother.

      You might have to take a bit more time and slow down when shrinking. Also you might wanna try snap shrinking the bottom also once or twice before installing. Similar to the way you do side windows.. also remember also to squeegee the same patter when installing as you did with shrinking
