    I have found that a clay bar works great on the defroster lines. Haven't had one peanut since using it!

      Or 0000 grade steel wool.Most peanuts occur as the defrost line is high and moisture gets trapped .

    @arturo99 2 года назад +7

    Man, you do the same exact steps I do with this vehicles. I guess I've been doing it right this whole time. Still peanuts might pop-up here and there sometimes. Overall this is the best technique so far. Thanks for the video man!

    One of the hardest windows to shrink and install due to the sheer size of the glass and the thickness of the defrost
    Posting this pre-video, will come back and edit after
    Edit: learned a TON, so informative and so many great techniques to add to my arsenal. I was taught to shrink from the inside out, but this has been the one car i have not succeeded with. Looking forward to my next Charger so I can try some of these things out!

    I’ve noticed things have changed I use to work in a tint shop installing car alarms sunroofs and things like that. I’ve watched guys tint windows and on the back windows they would always cut a seam in the back windows and hide it behind the defrost line to prevent the window from getting those bubbles

  • @gmoneyt4r639

    We used to hit the back glass with 2000 grit sand paper, then spray alcohol on the back glass when we went to lay the film with the car running and defrosters on so it got hot, stuck quick and dried up water to prevent peanuts. Just had to lay it fast lol.
