- Quick Advice to young new filmmakers: Keep in mind that these effects will not look the same on your videos. Important thing here is to adapt and tweak few settings to match to your taste. But most importantly having a reference in mind, and how grading is used to tell a story is the key to great Color Grading.
For most of my paid projects, the grading is normally done by a colorist. and When I grade my personal projects, I usually bring it on to After Effects. However, when budget and time is concerned. There are Ways to grade your images in just NLE software like Vegas Pro! That is one reason why this tutorial is made, to save you from Hassle of rendering multiple clips to switch software.

A really clear tutorial man! Easy and understandable, thank you so much!
Awesome job. Love seeing the subtle changes that all add up to one great big change. I see lots of people looking for one single effect that will make a video look good, and unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Thanks for the tips!
You're welcome Trace. Make sure to stay tuned, more contents to follow!
More of these "tutorials" please. So calm, understandable and clear. Very impressed by you, cheers :)
I was looking dor the ''fading'' effect for so long, thank you so much!
You're welcome! Keep in mind that this fade is a simple hack to the look. A fade involves a grain that projects a natural feel and textures. Will be coming up with a new tutorial soon on that! Stay tuned :)

+per gunnar Merakerli not a bad investment at all. Best approach would be to build the habit of editing, so give it a shot!
what version of sony vegas is this?:)
do you do this for each clip? or do you apply this to this video as a whole?
ideally each clip.
Not on fcp ? :(
