The reason the map froze up like that was probably because you exited building mode while it was on your lift. it is a bug that causes the game to think every single block in the creation is separately anchored to the ground. it's great if you want to implement free floating creations into the challenge but bad if you need them to be dynamic like in spleef.
That was a very nice idea Kosmo, I am sure you inspired a bunch of new Spleef bot arenas with this one ^^ For the next time you make Spleef arenas, how about making not a single layer of destructible floors (remember that there are more blocks beside cardboard that can be destroyed with a spud gun :D ), but one that is like 2 or 3 layers thick with explosives hidden inside of them? Or explosives that are on rotating servos beneath the arena so you cant predict where they might explode if you hit them :D
Here is how you recycle the farmbot concept to make it less instakill: 1) Make the arena larger, 2) Everybody drives upside down under the arena, 3) Spawn farmbot on top

Similar concept but instead of multiple huge floors, make tons of smaller ones and connect them not just with an elevator that's always moving slowly but also ramps wrapping around the arena? Could that be interesting? And you start at the lowest level and work your way up, but only if you want to (due to the ramps being there).
Def should've been a longer delay before the farmbot pops up, that way players can prep and trap the field with holes and trip hazards beforehand. Loosely reminds me a bit of Lethal Company's jack in the box.
well your arena looks more fun then thers. Spleef with different bots constantly spawning seems also fun. You have to shoot them from spudgun. First starts with simple bots and then escalates to farm bot in the end.
I'd love to see a replay of this board without the farmbot. Also, this is an interesting proof of concept for my multi-level idea from my comments on the last spleef arena.
I had the same problem with a map i was making not letting you put it on the lift, I found out that for some reason the cause of the problem was a bearing. Im not sure why it happens but once i disconnected the creation from that part it worked. If it ever happens to you again use the lift to try to push everything up and you will see that it tries to move but is anchored to one point, separate it from the creation and it should work. Should revisit old concepts with a construct that can chage the allignment of its wheel into a Bike like profile. This would help to make a normal round last longer.... Some kind of mechanic to do before being able to swap the construct's wheelbase, like getting in and out of it by having a switch the player has to trigger. Something like that where its a bit harder then pressing a button on the keyboard :D
what about a spleef with no aggro for players or vehicles but there constantly spawning colored bots that fight each other and turning the arena in a battlefield, if this is possible ? maybe with even more layers of cardboard to get some "craters" from explosions and stuff ^^ also, i loved your idea kosmo, i laught so hard :D
If you did this as a run away from the farmbot where its a giant cardboard arena everyones cars are just slightly faster than the farmbot and if it dies it somehow spawns a new one in it would be amazing. Dragging the farmbot to your enemy like Goku and Vegeta dragging Brolly to Frieza just epic. Side note the fact that youtube doesnt recognize those names feels like a giant oversight.

MM IDEA!!! Spleef arena with someone in a turret above the map everyone else is on foot or in a vehicle in the arena. Build your own turrets. Player on the turret with the least time wins!
I think you're on to something with bots destroying the arena around you. You could set the bots to battle each other and ignore the players and the arena would still get wrecked in random ways but without the players being targeted. The moving platform was a nice touch also.
10:45 kan says his green car is rigged in every video lol, at this point you guys should legitimately program some tiny defect into the green car without telling him. like make it one tick slower on an engine, or have a few degrees worse turning radius. maybe for april fools since that is multiplayer monday.

For the elevator. You could of used a single piston a controller. From the bottom to middle section, set the piston to extend with 3 or 4 steps. One step from the middle to top.

Can bots locate players through cardboard, and can they aim up or down? It could be cool to have a spleef map where the cars don't have guns, instead you have a bunch of tapebots above or below (or both) that do the shooting.

lol that was funny. could probably extend the time on the first floor by putting some timer blocks before the pistons so people have enough time to actually try to cut people off. farmbot did seem a little over the top and nobody got to kick anyone off. Kan constantly falling off was pretty funny though.

I had the same problem with a map i was making not letting you put it on the lift, I found out that for some reason the cause of the problem was a bearing. Im not sure why it happens but once i disconnected the creation from that part it worked. If it ever happens to you again use the lift to try to push everything up and you will see that it tries to move but is anchored to one point, separate it from the creation and it should work.
