Digital spleef- spudguns shooting upwards at buttons which connect to spudguns in all 3 arenas which knock out the cardboard. No one is in the same arena but what you do affects everyone.

That's probably a bad idea. When a piece falls it'll land flat on the layer below and cause a ton of lag. Unless you mean that the arena is like 6 blocks thick and all in one piece?

Spleef with thick glass would be interesting because Scrap mechanic makes the transparent layers invisible. You wouldn't be able to tell how thick it was, or if there was a hole.
Reverse Spleef: the floor is solid, and the ceiling is the thing you have to break. Sensors on the cars activate thrusters when they either do not detect blocks above them, or a block falls on them.

I have an idea: Same map, different cars, and a few surprises. Follow me- you have the same exact map, however the cars have been rewired heavily. Instead of the alternating guns or the traditional three-guns-in-a length ways- setup, you have four guns set across the back of the vehicle, cutting out enormous slices of cardboard. A little boring, perhaps? Well then, there's twist number Two- The map has been fitted with, "Safe Spots". These are little patches of what players will think are cardboard over something that can't be cut out. However, in those little spaces are sensors, rigged to timers, in turn rigged to dynamite. And the longer a player stays on that spot, the closer the timer gets to, "Kaboom". Still not enough, then there's Twist Number Three- when the cars are moving, they seem a little speedier than normal. This is to allow players to get a bit too accelerator-happy, causing messy cuts and the odd car flying off the board. Although this could be fixed by adding little walls to the track, making it a bowl. And lastly, just to go full-ham, have little dynamite tanks stuck under the map at random spots. Or, on a different note entirely, could y'all please bring back Work-Shop Olympics?
a spleef idea! .... maybe? .... a cube, where you drive on the inside, with curve bits to go across to all 6 sides... and the spudguns shoot up instead of down
And thrusters to actually drive on all sides, that would be amazing, imagine you driving then someone on the opposite side of the world cuts you out (and the cars should probably have headlights)

Remember the old bomb tron multiplayer mondays? That, but in spleef. With longer cooldowns on the bombs of course, and either a spudgun bumper on the cars to set them off, or just let people hop out of their seats to shoot them.
Spleef idea: either put a farm bot in a cage in the back of the car and have the farm bot break the cardboard to make random holes in the arena, or you could try to mimic the random holes with rotating spud guns.
And I am amazed that the last round ended without that huge chunk being cut out. Yes, I want to see these cars again with a proper spectator platform so that we can see all of each round properly.
I've figured out from watching the first few rounds that the best way to keep your cuts continuous for cutting out sections is to make 270-degree turns instead of 90-degree turns, so that your straight line after turning lines back up with what you cut before turning.
Race spleef! Have a big wide circuit and have 10-20 laps around. Each go around will make the track more and more dangerous. Have sections that are immune and maybe shortcuts that have no immune sections?
It would be cool to have a massive platform and fast cars with the entire back of the car covered in spud guns. So you essentially clear out your entire cars width as you drive.
Make spleef cars that you can change from normal cutting in a line or change modes so the spud guns rotate 90 degrees to cut a les consistent but wider
Spleef idea: Players retain control of the vehicle using WASD, but the spudguns rotate constanly from 2 arms on top of the vehicle. You have the option to not move, but your own spudguns would cut a circle arround you. Choose wisely when to move and when to stop
What about having a button above the car that stops the car, the goal is to get out of the seat to shoot the button on others cars to stop them, could be used to temporarily stop someone to cut them off the map, perhaps it also has a cool down of ten seconds or something idk
You could do a team race, where one drives a car and the other one does parkour. The driver helps with some big jumps by catching the parkourer in a seat and the parkourer helps the driver by shooting some buttons.

build a spleef map but you have pistons on your wheels and they can extend up and/or sideways but if both are enabled then they extend out from the top

Could you do remote control spleef? Where no one is in the cars but each player controls them from a remote area,(not the most familiar with scrap mechanic so idk if this is possible)
For Speef you could have autonomous spleef cars on the ceiling shooting down on you (or just a disco ball of spud guns). Maybe you could also make the player cars destructible
Make the cars so they can only go in 4 directions, like I guess you'd have 2 sets of wheel bases on pistons, so you can either go north-south or east-west, and depending on how your seat turns, only one set of wheels is lowered to make contact with the ground and propel you in that direction.
Spleef idea: Having vehicles with low frictions blocs and trusters for movement. Idea withing the idea: make the truster only working half the time, so you'll have to plan every move or you slide somewhere you don't want to, and like this you can prepare trap that will be seen, but not avoided
Hide and Seek spleef! Large (slightly overpowered) spud gun turret that can aim in a small hide and seek arena. Hiders get time to hide beforehand and can move, and the winner is the person who spends the least amount of time in the turret.
Spleef idea: timed delay on turning, and if you go in a straight line for x amount of seconds one of the spud guns turn off. another idea is to make the floor out of glass instead of cardboard and pieces above to cast various sized shadows on the arena.
You could do blind spleef Use a large arena with coloured and the further you go out, using logic gates u can distinguish where you are in the arena. This means you know where u are but can't see each other or any of the holes made.
deployable fan spleef: similar to this with the ability on a cooldown but with the ability to deploy a fan of guns as wide as the vehicle that will last just long enough to make a car sized hole in the floor.
to have it even more random then have the spuds on a rotating arm. every time you use left or right it rotate 90´clockwise. could even add mirrored steering just to mess it up even more XD
Next time have the same build but instead of the inside spud guns shooting while turning and middle ones going straight have all 3 groups shooting at the same time, or have the outside one shooting while going straight and the inside ones shooting while turning
Spleef, but the vehicles drive themselves. Kind of. Put walls on the arena and give the cars rudimentary avoidance systems. Then you can trust your car to just hang out while you go cut a section of the map with your spudgun. Give a full selection of spudguns as well for maximum agency.
Spleef where the cars drive automatically and you have the miniguns to cut out the cars. I mainly just wanna see more minigun use demolishing cardboard. You can do what you will with the cars.
Not being allowed to look up, put the cardboard section as a roof and who ever the roof falls on, they are out. Not only that every so often the roof comes down until all are squished. Probably no spud guns.
once chapter two comes out, maybe spleef but the spudguns are on a turret seat I believe I saw a turret seat on the workshop that works in current version with mods, but I'm unsure if it still functions also, spleef but instead of cutting lines, you have a bunch of mounted spudguns that act as a shotgun and make large potholes in the map on a slow fire rate. probably would be best if a. it makes a larger hole than the wheelbase or b. the wheels are not right up against the body so they can get stuck
Anyway to use saw blades or drills with spleef? cuttable anchor pillars that would support sections until cut? or make it risky by having it so if all pillars broke the whole map falls and no one wins the round.
Spleef Idea: thick line. Two of the triple spud gun lines either right next to each other on an even width vehicle or with a one block gap between the spud gun sets on an odd width vehicle.
I think that you should do something like this, with 3 different sets of 3 spudguns, but only one is active at a time, and it's random which set is active. Well, make it as random as possible.
combine this with the stop button and you should be able to turn in place and connect the lines, or make it tank steering so you can't turn and go straight

Have a car drive and place the outline of the arena. It would place blocks on concrete the you remove the concrete.

You should make the car cut a few blocks and then leave a 1 block gap of card board so you have to use youruspud guns to detach segments

Spleef, but there are thin stone supports among the cardboard. Each car has 3 small explosive plungers to blow the stone support strips.

Idea: All vehicles have a trail that's 5 blocks wide so nobody can drive through where you drived
For the next spleef you should make the trail 2 blocks wide and use the small wheels
