Hmm...good idea but I feel like the map needed to be another X by X (1 or 2 sizes bigger) for 3 vehicles as this map's size feels more like it had 2 vehicles in mind (probably could've added another trap type or two too).
And everybody gets turtled in the first round. This map was hilarious. I'm finally catching up on last week's Multiplayer Monday after a busy week last week, and next week my work schedule is changing so I'll actually be able to watch the Multiplayer Monday videos on Mondays.
Idea: start the map, have a simple maze to the vehicles (potentially each vehicle built by a different person) and a clear difference in vehicle quality. The first person through the maze is able to choose what they think the best vehicle is. Rest of the match proceeds as usual.
Love the idea. Just want to say this though... In Sumo, the opponent loses if anything other than their feet touches the ground, or if they leave the circle even slightly. Your rules should for your map at least should exclude the circle rule since the whole map is the circle basically, but it should include the foot rule and essentially try to keep your wheels only on the ground. Just a suggestion. This was still a fun idea to watch regardless of the rules.
