As a Taiwanese Canadian currently living in Phoenix, Arizona, I personally still use KKBOX instead of Apple Music or Spotify because KKBOX is the world’s largest copy right music streaming provider of Mandarin/Taiwanese song in the world. FYI
Also, I was born in Vancouver but mostly raised in Taipei, Taiwan. So most of the time, I called myself as a Taiwanese, which I’m really proud of and glad of that I belong to.
No matter any reason , thanks for choose stay in Taiwan.

I like your top three! I learned The moon represents my heart on guitar and sang it for my girlfriend as my first attempt at singing a Taiwanese song. It was really easy learning the lyrics. But my top Taiwanese artist is Wu Nai. Awesome guitarist!

You're right, it's hard to choose just three songs and I like your picks as they connect to you the most. I tried KKBox before but most songs are new release songs, not the most pleasant songs to hear from sometimes, so I unsubscribe them. I haven't try Apple Music yet since I got so many songs in my itune already and I use RUclips as my new music information platform, haven't have the desire to try Apple Music yet.

I highly recommend you to learn 魚仔, the fish, as it helps you learn some 台語. I bet you'll gonna love it!
The list actually changes for the different times in my life, while I was in high school, college. Even after I was graduated from school, the list changes from one time to another.
So the whenever the songs play, the memory will come back to me.

Hi Allan, you chose the same song with my boy friend who is also a teacher from U.S. 「你存在我深深的腦海裏」by 曲婉婷， not only the rhythm is beautiful and also good for your Chinese learning. My top 3 will be : 1,「洗衣機」by Mayday. It's a song about hard working washing machine spinning all the time like moms. I would think about my mother, and I couldn't finish it but tears fall. 2, 「蝸牛」live version by Jay Chou. Encouraging song for a nobody like everyone else to have faith to achieve the dreams. 3, 「我是ㄧ隻小小鳥」by 趙傳. Also a very encouraging song to listen at night alone, with a glass of wine, think about the past, future and the high-and-low life.
