The iPhone 13 Pro was released in 2021, but as of 2023, it is still a great phone to use. However, some of the features may seem outdated like the notch and 12MP camera compared to newer models such as Dynamic Island and 48MP camera. How doesn’t it hold up in 2023.

Still using my 13 Pro. No complaints yet 💪 not upgrading until Apple does a full hardware design update.
Loved the Pacific Blue on the 12 Pro and loved the Sierra Blue on the 13 Pro even more. I know a lot of people get frustrated with the lack of "big" updates to the iPhone each year, but it really is a testament to a) how sound their design has become and b) how difficult it is to improve on these already amazing products. Don't mess with success, imo. I love the current design of the iPhone (12-15) for it's minimalism look and will likely be upgrading to the new 15 Pro for the titanium. But the 13 Pro is more than capable smart phone in 2023 and beyond. Thanks for sharing!
It’s not that much more different from the 14 pro and I am perfectly fine with the 13 pro as opposed to the dynamic island of the 14 pro. I bought mine last year and I am still happy with the 13 pro I got and I won’t upgrade until maybe 6 years later
Still rocking mine at 93% battery capacity and I bought mine the day after launch in 2021. It’s still an all day battery and will be using it until the 16 pro comes out. Waiting for the alleged periscope lens that will be coming with that model, I don’t want a giant phone.
I'm happy to see this video. I just bought an iPhone 13 Pro to replace my dying 7 Plus. I rarely use a phone, but I needed one with a battery lasting longer than an hour when I'm out and about.

I have had the 14pm, upgraded from the 13pm back in January. And can honestly say I regret it til this day. The camera is hands down better than the 14pm.
Great video. I rarely go three years with the same iphone but my Sierra Blue 13 pro is literally my fave iphone ever. (and I kept the very first iphone as well as the iphone 4 just to have them) The Titanium seems to have fingerprint issues of a different kind so that doesn't bother me. For my real world use, I still get great battery use, and my phone is still the best looking phone ever lol. (not the green ;) Thanks for the good video!
Coming from a XR I definitely need an upgrade and the 13 Pro is the sweet spot for me but I don't know where I can get one since Apple stopped selling them. I might have to settle for a used one but this is definitely the one I want. I don't upgrade too often so when I do get it the 16 or 17 will probably be out by then. Thanks for this update definitely brought me to a conclusion.

I brought iPhone 13 Pro since day1 launched (Upgrade From XR) , I would say it really worth upgrading. Big difference on display, battery and camera.
I absolutely love my 13 Pro, i stayed on iOS 15 since it’s the original iOS for the 13 Pro. I get amazing battery life, no lag whatsoever. A really solid dependable device. I tried upgrading to the 14 PM and 15 PM. But I returned them both because I loved the size of 13 Pro, also neither really felt like much of an upgrade. Don’t really like the dynamic island either.

Same 256gb and alpine green! However I have had mine about 15 months and my battery is on 85% what’s yours? I only charge once a day and that is at night but even tho seems a big drop.

Thanks for the video. Recently bought a second hand 13 pro and it is very good, although I can see a lot of software corrections on the pictures, which I don't like that much as it is too visible for my taste, but otherwise it does a lot for the money. Do you use any lens protectors or is the sapphire glas of the lenses hard enough for daily use?
Definitely don’t use any lens protectors, it ruins the quality of the images and the sapphire is more than tough enough
@@chimdot although I was quite disappointed when I found out that my previous 2017 SE has the same resolution as 2022 13pro … shame on you Apple.
@@lorencing yeah but like just cuz the lens is the same megapixel count doesn’t mean it’s the same. It’s a way bigger 12mp lens with updated software
@@chimdot still, it is just the lenses that are bigger, not that much the sensor. I do notice the improvement in the picture, but I dislike the "visible" software touchup, though for the normal user that could be a benefit if you look at the instant auto correction of the photo taken, which I must say is good if you are not an editing buff.

My iPhone 13 Pro is from September 2022 and is still rocking. But I am a little bit frustrated about the battery capacity. Since iOS 16 it dropped quickly.. I have 90% only now…. With 270 cycles….
same with me , now tomorrow is iOS 17 update , let's see what happens, i bought it in 2021, even till summers i was at 97%, but then in you know cuz of heat and iOS 16 it came down to 91%, then in winters again only 5% drop , now i am at 86% after 2 years, Its mainly the heat , but who cares , use the hell outta it and just replace the battery.
13 Pro Alpine Green user here, March 2022 🌲. This phone has everything, best color, ProMotion, ProRes and ProRaw.
I have added shorcuts on my lockscreen and homescreen, automation are on depending my focus mode and i use back tap of my phone:
2 tap => Screen printing
3 tap => Selfie Camera
A15 Bionic is still a flaghip chip, at the same level than 8+ Gen 1, 8 Gen 2 or Tensor G3.
I plan to keep it until end 2025 at least. I will change the battery.

I have my iphone 13pro for already 6 year and i got to tell you, best phone ever, battery still holds strong at 99% and not a single scratch, never in case, does cook, clean and laundry for my, plus gets me to work and sometime even works for me… best phone ever

13 pro max & it’s a definite upgrade coming from an XS Max
Bought one refurbed in the highest grade on BackMarket this night at 3AM, pretty much as a boredom impulse buy. Let's see if $800 for a 256GB 13 Pro in SIerra Blue is a worthy upgrade form my $250 Xiaomi. I intend to keep it at least til 2026.

I had an iPhone 13 Pro, then the battery expanded and pushed the screen off just after it ran out of warranty, and it’s still being paid off until the end of 2025, so that’s when I get a new phone

Got the 13pro, after the ios 17 update, its been a shitshow on the performance speed. Dont even get me started on the bugfest of the 16.
I currently have a 12, the back glass is cracked up & the bottom of the phone actually has some glass pieces removed exposing the insides & my BH is 88%
I’m thinking of repairing the phone with a 3rd party place but if i can’t find any reputable places then i’m thinking of getting a 13 pro and then keeping this for a very long time. I’d love to have the zoom lens & 120hz and the improved battery life. but if not then a 13 would have to do

I never heard of that. Me and my girlfriend have 13 pros and no issues.
@@JackHackett1 there are some of the country such as Indonesia, india, malaysia have lot of green screen issue. I have read some articles said that mostly it caused by LCD production from BOE

Do people not keep their iPhones longer??? I kept my old 6S for 5-6 years. Never truly upgraded to a new iPhone with the notches. I was stuck with the bezels ever since the X was released in 2017.
When my 6S got too old. I just got another 6S. Kept that since 2021 and now I went for a Galaxy S10 in 2023.

My IPhone 13 Pro is the worst IPhone I have ever owned. I’ve had it 1 year, and the battery life is at 86%. Maybe I need a new carrier( T-Mobile). It has the worst loading.
Another poor quality is it gets warm then hot fast. If I just so happened to buy a defective one, that could be the problem. I did report it twice to Apple, and they didn’t honor the warranty. Apple Tech claimed there was nothing wrong with my phone. It’s important for whoever reads this that I love IPhone I’ve bought that smartphone since the IPhone 5. While I owned the iPhone 10X max, I got tired of the battery dying and the size. I leased a Samsung Galaxy 21. That had a battery life of 100% after 18 months. It worked like it was brand new. I doubt this IPhone 13 Pro will last 5 years. I hope the next time I call Apple they will resolve this issue and take responsibility for this situation that I was sold a bad Apple IPhone. I do have Apple Care + insurance. I’ve owned this 19 months.
