Does that meant I won't have to courier or mail them my transcripts and the form that needs to be stamp my school? Since my school can send it electronically. Just a bit confused there thanks
Hi, No you wont have to do anything, school will send them transcript, just request your school, they will charge fees to send it to wes.

I would like to ask if there are spaces to uploading other documents e.g change of name affidavit due to marital status, the situation here is that name is changed on intl passport but the old name still remains on the academic credentials. whats your advise regarding this
Hi, WES doesn't care about your passport, always use the names you used in academic credentials, affidavit will be needed for immigration purpose as WES will only use names in academic documents.
Thanks for the video. Since I can get the report via email or on the site, why pay additional $11 for standard delivery? Also will the evaluation report be sent to my email from Wes or I can download it from my dashboard when I login to dashboard on the WES
Hi, Thanks for supporting the channel, not sure why they ask for standard delivery charges for electronic reports but they do. The report via email or on the site will be unofficial report and if you are applying for a university or immigration in any country, they will only accept report provided directly by WES and will not accept if you send them by email or send them a copy yourself. You can download the report from the site, sometimes you have to wait once you get email as the report might not be immediately available. I hope that helps :)

Question: Last year, I had my transcripts evaluated purposely for Canada(immigration) Express Entry. Is there a possible way to upgrade it directly into the one suitable for this purpose of Graduate Admission into an American University without having to start the whole app process all over again?
Hi, evaluating a credential for 2 different countries requires 2 separate processes, wes is just a medium used by both countries, its canada and US evaluation needs to be done separately as they are two different entities.

Great Video! I just have one question. I have bought the official transcripts (sealed and stamped in a envelope) with me when I came to Canada back in 2021. Can I just courier these as it is to WES for evaluation?
Hi, no! it needs to be from back home address. Also I have mentioned a form if you watch the entire video which is needed to be signed and sealed if you are sending on behalf of your university.
I have my signed stamped copy of transcript which i have to send to WES on my own. Do i need to put my degree photocopy inside the envelope along with the academic records and get the envelope sealed and stamped before sending it to WES?
The documents required will be mentioned in your my account section once you login. You willl need it all signed and sealed along with additional form I have mentioned before you send it to WES

Hi, No its a separate process, there is no way to upgrade or change as far as I know. You can contact WES to get more info on it.

I'm about to send my documents to WES for course by course evaluation since I'm planning to puruse my MBA in U.S. While filling the form, I noticed they're asking for "recipient address".
Is that necessary to fill? Because the university that I'm planning to pursue my MBA from does not know about me because I haven't started any process nor did I initiate any communication from my side.
So is it still necessary to enter those details and the name of the dept/person(s)?

Hi, I am glad the video is helping you out. Please do help me by subscribing to the channel.
Even if you haven't initiated the communication, you would know the details of the department you are going to apply and doesn't matter if you haven't initiated the process as WES sends electronic authorizations to the universities so they can check your report anytime when you apply within 5 years of its validity. So what you are doing is granting those universities access to your report. Doesn't matter if you later apply to them or not. All the best!

My surname in my degree certificate is different from the one in my passport. Only the first letter of my surname is present in my degree certificate, whereas the full name is present in my passport. I added the details in the credential section as per my degree certificate. Will this cause any issue in the ECA process? Also will there be any problem in IRCC process?
Hi, for Wes its ok, you have to make sure the name in degree matches with your application. For ircc you will have to make sure that you attach affidavit which states that both name is the same person. I hope it helps, please subscribe if the channel is helpful.

No, I have said this countless times in the comment section, both countries has separate evaluation criterias.
Very confused if we need to put WES number as well as ECA number or just the ECA number. As in Canada, PEBC which is pharmacy examining board of Canada provides ECA so that we can be eligible for FSW. If you can guide us with that. No information is posted on this anywhere!
If pharmacy examination board provides eca then why are you doing wes again, ultimately they both are ECA, so put whatever is relevant, whatever can show your education and not your pharmacy credentials will be important here, 4 years of degree eca is what we need to find.
How can i pay from Debit card? Theres only option for Credit_ (visa-master_anex)
The payment options are different for different countries so possible that you will have to use credit card for application. I hope it helps!

Hi, I had similar case, you only need to send engg transcript, only provide diploma transcript if WES requests for it, you will get a 4 year engg equivalent, I am saying this by my own experience.
In case of sending transcripts to wes by myself, because my institution given me envelope of transcrips. What should I fill in place of authority section?
Hi, your university will have to stamp and sign that authorization letter I mentioned and you will have to send it with your transcript else it won’t be accepted by wes

I did bachelors of business administration (computer applications) from Savitri Bai Phule pune University for 3 years but University only issued 2nd and 3rd years transcript and we have to take 1st year transcript from my own college i.e sangamner college. And pune University doesn't send transcripts to Wes electronically so should I post both the envelope in a big envelope and post it to the wes or should I fill a form by wes which you have mentioned in the video and get signed and stamped it from Pune University and then post it to the wes.

If your university doesn’t send transcripts to WES, you will have to go through option 2 which you mentioned, filling form and signed by university.

I am confused by the fact that during the WES application, IRCC is added by default (and can't be removed) as a recipient. This is because in IRCC's Express Entry webpage, it's clearly stated and I quote: "Don’t ask the designated organization or the professional body to send us your report." (this can be found under Documents for Express Entry -> ECA: How to submit your report).
Can you explain more about this? Is this a problem? Does that mean that WES will send the report directly to IRCC, electronically?
Hi, Electronic reports are never sent but rather authorized, so here WES doesn’t send them report but attach a report to your profile and gives IRCC authorization to look at it (provides them with view rights) so whenever you apply and provide your WES number, IRCC can immediately go look at it. What IRCC mean by not sending doc is the physical documents directly to IRCC, they don’t review like that. I hope that helps!

Hi, you will have to do the same process as I have mentioned in the Video to do WES for express entry. There is no separate rule for USA.

Hi, Yes, you need to do the formal transcript request from your university , generally if university is listed in WES, then that university website does have a step by step instructions on how to request, also in your WES account you should be able to clearly see the instructions, I have shown example in the video so please take time and watch the entire video to understand it better. does the statement of marks(University Issued and Attested) should have marks or grades?...because my university issue marksheet which has grades(relative) in it not marks
Its fine, for evaluation of statement of marks, they will figure out, there should be an info page generally on back of marksheet.

Hi, In the delivery screen you can add multiple universities in the section "Institutions receiving report". Incase you already have the report and you want to send to another institutions, you will have to request for duplicate report and add the institutions of your choice. And, yes you will have to pay extra for this.

Hi, yes you can as long as you are applying for Canadian institutions - valid upto 5 years. After that just apply for duplicate report, so technically once evaluated, its useful forever.

Hi, for uploading the documents, you can upload your official transcript but they will only verify once they receive the sealed transcript from university or send it by university electronically. If your university doesn’t send transcripts electronically to WES then you will need to fill the form I mentioned in the video and get it signed+sealed, and only then you can send both these documents yourself, but just uploading a scanned transcript is a start of the process and not the only thing required. For your question, it depends on the receiving end, if they require transcripts, you will need to provide transcripts only. If its course by course evaluation or transcript, you can choose to evaluate with grade sheets. But you cannot send anything to WES yourself, they will not consider without the authorization form signed by your university.

Hi, its a VIP service for which you have to pay extra, certain universities are eligibile for this options, it will help WES to directly validate your credentials without sending the sealed copy. You can opt for it if you are in urgent need of WES evaluation, its the fastest delivery option available right now.

Hi, after you submit the payment your account will show options for uploading digital copy of documents while you prepare for official transcripts to be sent. The process only begins after you submit the payment, however there is no deadline to it.

Hi, WES canada and WES US is different entity and evaluates for different countries so you cannot transfer and unfortunately have to do the process again.

Please as regards WES evaluation, the year of birth on my transcript is different from what I have on my intl passport which is the correct year of birth, I have contacted my university and I was informed it CANNOT be updated. Can I proceed with the evaluation even with the year of birth disparity, will it be an issue?
Hi, it might create issue regarding the authenticity of the document, ideally transcripts don’t have date of birth and so they don’t look at it that way but they might send you a message if they feel that you are not the same person as mentioned on passport. Hope that helps.

I need your help regarding my WES application for Canada. I initially applied on 11/08/2023 but faced delays because I didn't have my degree certificate. It took over three months to obtain the certificate from my university. After uploading it to my WES account, WES is now asking for an additional fee to reactivate my application.
What do you recommend I do in this situation?

Hi, Thanks for supporting the channel. WES Canada checks your Education for Canadian Equivalency and not US. In some cases the US University does accept Canadian Equivalency but thats not always true, I would advice to ask university and if they need US Equivalency only, you might have to request for that accordingly.

Hi, in this case you should use your university name. Check your degree so see the name of the institution and use accordingly.

Hi, only your university can send transcripts to WES and if you are sending instead then follow the instructions on the video

Hi, no you only need to do WES for bachelors unless you are mentioning diploma as well. If you are mentioning diploma, you need WES for it.

For the account profile, please use details as per your passport but for the Degree certificate information please mention the name as per the degree certificate as they will evaluate by looking at your certificate and not the passport. Hi, If your name is different than what you have mentioned while filling form, please reach out to WES. If its same and you made a mistake, still they will be able to help you out as long as provide additional proofs to them, just send them email with your inquiry.

Hi, that's very common issue, that's y I have provided instructions of Academic Records Request Form which is a request by WES to the university to release documents incase your university doesn't send them directly. Hi Raj ! It’s a very informative video. I had one question. I am Applying for EXPRESS ENTRY CEC. I have done 4 years of bachelor’s from India and 2 years master’s from here in canada. Do I need to do WES for my bachelor’s degree ? Or it should be okay not to do WES and I can still get points for my 4 years bachelor’s degree ?

If you have masters in Canada, that has more points as compared to bachelors and so you don’t need any approval or validation for your bachelors, you only need to validate your highest completed degree. You don’t need WES.

Hi, I hope you got most information from the video, I have explained in depth about each category of WES in detail.
To summarize, IRCC is for immigration purpose (PR or Visa) and everything else (employer or education) goes through standard WES, you will have to choose recipient and in that select your university that has requested the documents.

Hey, I am having a query for WES (IRCC) Application.... I am doing a process for Canada PR and I am married and I will be the Main Applicant (Btech Mechanical)... I want my Point Score to be high as my Wife has done Master of Commerce through Recog. University... I want to know that if we Apply ECA for My Wife through WES (IRCC)... Would WES show Equivalancy to Masters....since i have read blogs that WES doesn't provide equivalancey of Master for Indian Masters courses.
Hi, WES provides masters if its equivalent to canadian masters, it depends on courses, you can only check once the evaluation is done by WES, there is no room to assume. All the best!
Hi Raj, i have one query after i completed my secondary studies i did one year of online certificate course in india and did one 2 year of diploma course here in canada so do i need to evaluate that certificate course as well while applying for pr. I showed that study during my study permit process. When i put the institute name on wes website WES says that they dont evaluate academic records from that institute. Can you help me regarding this? Should i go for some other ECA ?
Hi, WES will not evaluate that certificate, you can still add in your express entry profile to avoid gaps, you won’t get points for that studies without WES.

Hi, I would rather pay a friend back home to help with transcripts as I never heard about them before. However, it seems like a third party service and if you see any benefit and charges are reasonable, you can try them out.

on degree certificate of University of Mumbai name appears as " surname, first name, father name , mother name" irrespective of fact that student don't use middle name , university consider father name as middle name by default, while filling the degree credential to Wes portal do we have to keep middle name blank as i don't have any or write "father name and mother name " to match with name on degree ?

I started my evaluation with WES since May 5, 2024 I am still waiting for my evaluation, they’re still “analyzing my docs” I’ve called and the customer service representative stated that she would elevate my application for a status update but at the moment I have not received any confirmation of my documents or any other update. The second call she wasn’t even able to give me any information, any dates, besides that I need to wait and keep checking their website. If you want to cancel the process because they aren’t doing them job, they’ll charge you $52 fee. what really resembles a scam

Sir..I have two eca reports, done from wes, one for bachelors done on 2022 and to increase my points I did pgdBm..and got that assessed ..now my latest report contains both degrees and I got masters equivalency for both my degrees..
so in the pr form, should I select masters and also do I need to mention the latest eca report for both

And yes, the offical transcripts has to go through university, if its a well known university, they would have done this for many students so just ask them else follow the instructions in video for academic records request form method. Hi, To check - Create login credentials in WES website and try to upload your educational qualifications and marks over there. It gives you a free guide tour before you proceed your paid application. In some cases your university might not be listed there or your degree might not be enlisted. That's when you know your university doesn't deal with WES directly and you need the Form.
Yes after you fill your part, university has to file their part and send to WES signed, stamped and sealed. Alot of universities in punjab still don't do these well so its hard but do try your best and try to reach out people of universities who did this process before you as well, makes things easier.

Hi, if its a diploma from university, select university education else your credentials are not eligible for evaluation.
It is a diploma from University. But if I do select University education, I only get 3 options to select from, Bachelors, masters or Post Graduate doctorate. I have no option to input Diploma in there after I select University education.
Thats weird , in that case try State board technical education.
