Your right! I got a Ancel S3000 and it puts a lot more than 1 psi, which is great for vacuum leaks. Now i need to buy another smoke machine to keep it at 1 psi maximum… or at least a pressure regulator lol
@@advancedleveldiagnostics yes it will do that if you put you finger over the hose, If I recall. The first time I tried it on a vehicle. I watched it like a hawke for obvious reasons. And I found if I kept the flow super low(some times you do have to play with it) it would never go past 1 psi. I would assume the reason it climbs with your finger over the tip is there isn't any real volume in the hose and device. Versus a vehicle where the evap system has a lot more volume to fill.
Autool Sdt206
amzn.to/439XV9T
Autoline Pro Ventus
amzn.to/3IugmNc
Use them all the time on evap the hose connector inside the machine blows off at like 5 psi so no worries:)

I have the same Autool smoke machine. It’s a fantastic value!
The autol can be dangerous in the wrong hands lol. I’m gonna grab that Ventus! Looks like a great tool!! Excellent video brother!!
I tried and mine kept shooting out of the intake tube
You can use the SDT-206 for eval testing. I know I do all the time. You just have to keep the pressure at 1 PSI.
How do you keep the pressure low?
@@advancedleveldiagnostics flow valve.
I guess mine is broken, if I put it at the lowest flow and put my finger over it, it still climbs up to a lot more then 1 psi.

Good to know, thanks!
I really like my icon new smoke machine. If I think it vacuum leak I use starter fluid or propane and spray around intake. I know old school stuff
The difference between these two and the Icon is that these both have a built in compressor, making them great for mobile techs.
@@advancedleveldiagnostics yeah I got auto line pro one that has little motor but just like that one not a lot psi only evap work .
Shame I was gonna buy that first smoke machine
I still use it for evap testing
a smoke bomb and a tennis ball.
❤
I did an unboxing of the SDT-206 a couple years ago... Still works fantastic.
