I have a pretty high end computer with a 3090 ti card and the game lags and fps is at like low 30s when a lot is going on, is that pretty normal for this game ?
Ye it is, most likely due to all the effects and shaders try lowering your graphics
I've got a 3080 and i5-13600k, no issues at all on max settings in the 100-150 fps range...sounds like your pc is the issue. What CPU do you have?

Beautiful game cool map but the one thing that kills it for me is the tiny engagement ranges. The armored combat. Ranged combat is not modeled. Why can't they increase map size and have the option to zoom out to see the whole map. Would love to play that game!
Balancing reasons, if a tank can fire across the map its counter (aka infantry) will be useless.

It worked with all the Close Combat games and those had the smaller maps too. I don't believe that is the reason they don't expand the game.

If I played this mission I would have gathered the supplies from the vehicles that you weren't going to use and the ones that you cannot repair and distribute them between the vehicles that you could so say machine gun ammunition the main gun rounds for the chaffees number to destroy beyond repair especially the repair kits you could have distributed out

Graphics look good, but its hard to tell if its engaging game. I feel like these days good games require good multiplayer matching (a la SCII) to make them interesting. Because we have all done missions of one sort or another. Also, good gameplay is preferred over hyper realism in graphics.
The MP is pretty good. Also the game has a conquest mode which is either SP or COOP and is like a procedurally generated campaign/roguelike type game mode. Replay ability is great
It kills me how little people play this game pvp compared to men of war assault squad 2. It’s like gates of hell is just all single player people.
