Word of warning to anyone who plays the Finnish campaign, the Finnish troop's smoke grenades are sometimes white phosphorus grenades. Learned that the hard way by trying to drop a smoke grenade at my troop's feet only for them to all go up in flames
Gents I hate to burst your bubble, but after playing the CoH 3 Alpha it was *NOT* good. And that comes from someone who has 1K hours in CoH 1, and 300 in CoH 2. I'd be wary of purchasing CoH 3 before you try it, or at least watch gameplay on RUclips.

I’m a little bit confused on how you did this mission, I would’ve tried to hold the bridges, they would’ve been great choke points and then dig in the back area. I understand why you went for the high ground but I don’t know if that counters the cover inside the town and the choke points
This mission is so historically inaccurate, i don't even understand where they dug this from. The map alone hosts so many inaccuracies that it's mindblowing. I'm not going to write an essay on this because chances are that nobody will read it so i'll keep my comment short and point out only the big mistakes. Why doesn't Hungary hold North Transylvania? Hungary received the Hungarian majority territory of North Transylvania in 1940 with the Second Vienna Award. After Romania switched sides, Hungarians were prepared and the region was well consolidated, so i don't understand why German units would be trying to escape through Yugoslavia and why Tito has anything to do with this mission. Also, i would have loved if they reserved this mission for a future DLC instead, which could have brought Romanian and Hungarian units
@@jensole8939 KwK 43 was. Two very similar guns, using same ammunition. Penetration values are therefore more or less on par with each other, implying it is not strange at all that this gun has better penetration values than the older Tiger I.

I learned that the hard way too. I use those smoke grenades as slow molotov's if im out of molly's. Same as the mortar smoke rounds.

pak 43 has more penetration than a tiger 1 on a king tiger, it has 230mm penetration.
No wonder since it is the gun designed for Tiger II. Way more powerful.
