I think what it is, is that Big D is definitely like a father to J-Dawg in terms of him practically raising the Dawg when it comes to Metal music at least that's what I get from it. Which is respectable in my opinion.

Got to checkout the Crown of Souls video. Great song, but the rest of the album is a bit slow. Crown of Souls is definitely the best post Path of the Weakening Deeds of Flesh song.

The main reason why I brought up the title track for Crown of Souls is that JDAWG believes that they suck after Mark of the Legion, and they made a video for Crown of Souls. I also think that Crown of Souls is one of the best Death Metal songs, incredibly memorable. Personally I don't really like what they did after Crown of Souls, it's just too technical in the Neoclassical way. Coma of Souls was the last album that featured the style that Mark of the Legion introduced. The first 4 ( included EP) albums were not necessarily better, but they were different from the albums prior to Mike Hamilton joining. As well as being pretty different from each other. I like both eras of the band, but the Legion through COS definitely have a relatively similar style, which is very good.
