The whole Katy Trail and Rock Island Trail system is amazing, you definitely need to experience it. I was amazed we could just ride in and around the stadium. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the vid and info. Have you ridden the gap before? If not, any idea how good/bad the roads are in the gap? We're planning the KATY from KC this fall. Trying to decide if we want to ride or shuttle to a KATY trailhead from KC.
You are welcome. We have never ridden or even driven the gap between the end of the trail just southeast of Lee's summit to pleasant hill. My research seemed to indicate it would be rideable depending on your comfort level on roads. We are not very fond of road riding. Another option would be to do the full Katy from Clinton. We did that back in 2021 and it was a great ride. Thanks for watching.
Richard, your in our state !!! Just East of St. Louis is the MCT (Madison County Transit trail network). Let me know if you ever want to ride them. You could probably make 5 videos over there. I could ride with you like the first day, or more.
We did a last minute trip and the only planning we did was avoiding the weather so we could ride. Of course we wanted to get to Arkansas and ride the Razorback trail (video to come). Kansas City was a nice surprise with its bicycle infrastructure. Definitely will let you know if we head to eastern Missouri to get some recommendations.
Nice! I hope to get up that way someday. That was pretty cool the way you started at the stadiums.
