Why Can't I Get To A 100% Acceptance Rate On UberEats?

- Since February, yes that is 10 months ago, I have actively been trying to get my acceptance rate to 100% on UberEats. I’ve kept track of my data to track my progress. Examining it closer reveals some interesting facts.
In this video I will share comparing trips required to change my cancellation rate from 1% back to 0 and also my exponential curve for the acceptance rate.
Here are my results
58%-97% = 4.8 trips per percent increase
96%-99% = 8.7 trips per percent increase
99% = 37 trips per percent increase and counting
I was surprised but not shocked about the information the UberEats customer rep shared about what it takes to change your acceptance rate.
I hope you found this information insightful and interesting. Please share if you have actively tried to increase your acceptance rate on UberEats. How did it go for you?
In a future video I am going to share my findings from accepting every UberEats order. So far I have noticed many no tip as well as high mileage orders. I can’t say that I have received many high paying orders for my loyalty to UberEats. Have you noticed any trends from a high acceptance rate on UberEats?
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I am at a 19% acceptance rate and a 16% cancellation. I do doordash and instacart at the same time so if I get a better order I will cancel no problem. I will no longer accept rides that are less than $2 a mile! It's not worth it. 99% acceptance rate is crazy. You must have done a bunch of crappy rides.
Hi Sophia, I miss those days living free and earning money. I do feel pressured knowing the steep uphill road I face should I decline any UberEats order so now I am online less than before because I can't risk an hour trip if I am only available for 30 mins. I don't have that fear with any other app. Yes, I have had many low pay and high mileage orders. I console myself that I'm doing this experiment for all drivers and so I can sacrifice my time and hopefully not earnings doing so. So far I don't notice any immense reward for my total commitment to Uber. Russ
The same thing is happening to me right now. My acceptance rate is currently stuck at 94.5%. Accepted 189 and declined 11. It’s been stuck there for a week
I feel for you! I’ve done many more orders since this video and I’m still at 99%. If you like call UberEats support and see what rationale they have. Maybe the rep that helped me just made up a number to get to 100%. It sure is ridiculous. Do let me know when you get to 100% if you don’t mind….how many orders from here without declining. Russ
Is it better to accept everything? I’m assuming you get more orders this way. I live in Cali so I get prop 22 so I’m thinking about just accepting everything now
Door dash is the same way after a certain percentage, particularly 70 or so %.
Oh wow! That is ridiculous but not surprising with how gig app companies disrespect drivers. Most wouldn’t notice unless we pay close attention. Thank you for sharing that valuable info. Russ
@@TheRussRyde No problem it's important to share this information amongst each other.
Also It'd be nice you could see how many drivers each app has each day, because then you could just deliver for the one that has the least.
@@LesssThanAverageJoe Yes it is good to share knowledge. I know DoorDash is consistently busy. What about in your area?
@@TheRussRyde I'd say the offer volume is about the same for both apps, for me in my area, with a slight edge to Uber because more people seem to deliver for Doordash.
Sweet!
I did find this interesting though
Thank you! Russ
Wow great
Thanks Rubel!
🤣 there is no reward for having a very high acceptance, even though they should
I have found that to be true. Since I’ve been at it for so long I will keep it up for the greater good of all drivers and then when I stop I will never do it again! Russ
Wow, miserable
For sure, but I’ll persevere. It’s great to hear from you again! Russ
