Okay guys! My google search results seemed to favor the wrong Manta. Apparently I showed you guys images from Orlando, not San Diego. I'm sorry! In the video I even Said "Are there 2 mantas guys, am I missing something!?" "Slams head into desk". He made a mistake! He's human! Dislike the video! And get the pitch forks! ;)

The Manta in Orlando is a flying coaster but the one in San Diego was built into smaller space and is a standard steel launch coaster.
I failed at google.
Im actually from San Diego and been on that Ride so I'd say its about 70-80% Realistic only small minor details but non the less the track layout is on point and the colors ;)
Same here my home park is sea world san diego and this recreation is pretty accurate

Lol the pictures of the real ride you were looking at was the one in sea world Orlando which is an EXTREMELY different ride from the one from San Diego

I have been on this coaster before. Its pretty good but most corners are to low and tight and most hills are to high.

There is two sea world and both have mantas. The one you were looking at was sea world Orlando with the flying coaster. Sea world San Diego is the one the creator used

You really should use RCDB.com (roller coaster database) for you recreation videos. You wouldn't have made the mistake of mixing up Orlando's Manta and San Diego's.

There are two manta's the one at Orlando is what you were looking at. The San Diego one is what you rode its much smaller and and it's not a flying coaster.
you would use the break before the second launch to create a block section. many launched coasters do that. watch a pov of maverick at cedar point
Also a lot of the photos you were looking at in the video were from the Orlando one. But the San Diego one is a sit down coaster.

Channel5 Gaming This ride exists in real life and its not a stingray, its the same type in the game
I think the reason they use a breaking section before the boost section is based on real-world coaster design.
I'm not good with mechanics, but I assume they brake the coaster first because trying to boost an already moving toboggan would be both ineffective and probably might damage the boost mechanisms. I'm just guessing.
It's actually not a problem, they do moving launches on a lot of rides Full throttle, skyrocket 2s, wicked twister). The brakes are probably just for blocking.
looks like the just did the recreation of the coaster and didn't want to add any other additions. I like the glowing bits you put in the water. would have been nice to see slight variations of purple
Purple would have worked great! However, I think my suggestion goes against the re-creation. But was more of a fun little tutorial moment for the viewers. :D
Channel5 Gaming yes, I agree. That's where I believe the creator just wanted to focus on the ride itself and not so much the decorations on flowers and whatnot.

bro the coaster u reveiwed was the manta from San Diego and the one in the screen shots was the one in Florida in Orlando and the second boosters are really on the real on. the one we're you were flying is in Orlando Florida

I know right! It keeps showing the one from Orlando and i’m confused why.
California has the most themeparks than any state and when I search up specific rides, it shows the Orlando version or Florida version.
the first actual pics were the flying coaster version at sea world orlando, the other pics were the actual ride at sea world san diego

interesting idea and use of the custom shapes but I feel more scenery would be good. weird that there is two different manta rides

Haha, this is my fault. I'm trying my best to create as many high quality videos as I can, i'm bound to make a mistake along the way. But man do i pay for it when I do. People don't understand the amount of work i'm under. They think it's easy to be perfect 16 hours a day 7 days a week.

Yeah, that's what I assumed too. But it's always fun to give a good lesson in lighting for those who are interested! :D
Also the one in San Diego has more gardens around the coaster, this is not a great recreation I do have to say

I recommend checking rcdb.com if you hear about there being more than one coaster with the same name~
There are two Manta coasters. Just look up Orlando Manta then San Diego manta.
the one in Orlando and sandigo
are completely different Orlando is better though

For someone who's a coaster enthusiast I find your lack of knowledge quite disturbing
I'm a game artist and entertainer i've been on 2 coasters my entire life. Ask me anything about this game and I will explain it too you, ask me how to make a video game I will show you. Ask me how to make something 3D starting from scratch I will do it. Ask me to make a video on any of that, it will be done. If you can't do any of those things, I wouldn't find it disturbing, that's my world. You ride coasters, I make art. We all have our specialty :)
