I have an 8" 3 jaw Bison Set Tru chuck. There are three holes for mounting the chuck to the adapter plate. If you choose the wrong hole, the fine adjustment pins will gouge the adapter plate because, in that mounting position, those fine adjustment screws overlap the screw recess for attaching the adapter plate to the spindle. I informed them and they could not care any less. I do like the chuck though. The repair to the gouged recesses only cost me $200.00 to fix.
