i tend to oversimplyfy the color , ESPIECEALLY on a cheap chaft model that will die really fast like these scout , so it s going to be spray black >> red >> flesh tearer red the whole model >> dry brush with normal red >> dry brush with orange >> then we see how much i want to add to the detail , but i probably leave the leather part red anyway !!

Yeah watching this was a mistake. Now I want the scouts for my Blood Angels. 🤣 I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does Evil Sunz first then Wilder. Adding that Lugganath Orange, which I used for painting my Ahsoka models, is a nice step and I'll add that to my character method. Time to ask my Kill Team/40k crowd if anyone wants to split a box.

I was worried that GW was gonna remove a bit of the old scout charm, but I'm glad to see that they still look like proper scouts and kinda has a similar style to the old scouts. Also really enjoy that this kit also comes with a proper bazooka that I will be stealing for my slightly kitbashed primaris sized tactical marines :)

Yeah they have really kept the feel with these - even the heavy bolter guy has sleeveless arms like the originals!
