In this video, I will show you how to paint the new Striking Scorpions from Kill Team: Salvation! I've gone for the classic green scheme - I really love the new sculpts - they are really faithful to the originals as well - way back in time haha!
I also have a full review of all the new models in the box on my Patreon - free for anyone to have a look at! Check out the link below! A huge thank you to Games Workshop for sending me these models early for review and to create some content!

      Happy new year!
It would work but I would thin it maybe 3:1 contrast medium to TT. It will be difficult to build the green back up

I like your colour schema but to be perfectly honest I wouldn't do the last steps (the warpstone + moot green mix and onwards). Nonetheless the Striking Scorpions are really awesome.

    Great video!
Do you think something like karandis green contrast paint would work as a staring point in place of the green primer?

Thanks - you can try it over a zenithal prime 👍🏻

some titanium white makes it easier to paint yellow, or you paint yellow over a layer of pink

Those Scorpions look great, the highlighting on the black parts also looks pretty good. I always wondered why the Striking Scorpions are usually seen in green armor, maybe Mike McVey remembered seeing the Spiderman villain Scorpion and took inspiration from him when first painting up these deadly Aspect Warriors way back in 1990.

Was the green spray can a primer and painter in one or is it similar to the citadel mephiston red primer thing ?
