Ive heard a suggestion to NOT use paper towel as it dries out the paint and makes it more chalky. You can de-load the paint on a texture pallet instead. I transitioned away from paper towel and it shows. :) Great guide!
Very nice painting tutorial, pretty unique with a highlighted front and dark back. I think I almost liked it more before the final black wash, but overall really good stuff. Does the Blades of Kaine box only give you Striking Scorpions and you then have to source your own Banshees or Dire Avengers?
Yeah - not dissimilar to Inquisitorial Agents etc - if you want all the Aspect options you ultimately need to buy a box of each aspect or as many do - singles off eBay. Salvation outfits your BoK roster with one of three Aspect boxes.
Really cool concept, I love the “spotlight effect”, makes the models more dynamic, like they are emerging from the shadows! Would love to see how you’d paint the rest of the aspect warriors!

You could try to use a base layer with some purple. It'll make your green even more stunning

Yeah the salvation box only comes with Striking Scorpions only sadly.
