Don't have enemies on Pause Ai, I don't know if its still a thing but its likely that the first hit against each enemy is stealth damage and not normal damage (stealth damage appears yellow like a crit but isn't actually a crit).
Also for a fairer test dont have any companions.
Another good idea for rumblejack is to put viral on it and force slash procs from the stances, check that it might be better
