I've noticed my car smells like it's running slightly rich, my spark plugs look as if cylinder 1 is running really lean and it gets worse, cylinder 4 looks as if it's black, covered in soot. My hatch runs pretty well no check engine lights, I'm just stuck trying to figure it out emissions coming soon lol. Why not go with DOT4 brake fluid?

    • @jameshaulenbeek5931
      @jameshaulenbeek5931 5 лет назад +1

      Gotta drain and flush the entire system. You don't want to mix the different fluids, as their boiling points are different. If you're already running 3, it's fine to stick with it on a mild track setup.

    The bench bleed wasn't done yet. Those small bubbles are what you're trying to get rid of. The cylinder should be actuated way slower than he was doing it. If I'm using a helper I always just tell them to go PAINFULLY slow. He was going really fast, breaking up those bubbles and making it take longer. One of those little guys stuck in a corner of your cylinder can ruin your day. If you don't spend way too much time bench bleeding, you'll spend way too much time line bleeding. It generally just sucks. lol
