I have followed Justin since I "decided" to sell on eBay for reals. Just looking back on my Flipwise app I have seen over the last few months of taking it seriously that I have generated more income than I ever thought was possible on eBay. I must admit that this video is by far the best video Justin has made IMHO. Thank you, Justin for being that positive voice we all need when it's so easy to listen to the negativity instead. When I get down about lack of sales I just say “Today I list until I sell something.” It works EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. About 30 listings in, there’s always that sweet, sweet “CHA-CHING!”. This is just an anecdote for the principle of just shutting out the world and getting to work. eBay is simply the greatest selling platform I’ve ever been on. I couldn’t be more happy selling on there and I don’t listen to all the click-bait “clutch the pearls” RUclipsrs. But not you. You have great information that I’m actually using.
I suffered from anxiety and people always told me to stop worrying about things that will most likely never happen. Some would say just take a leap of faith and today I continue to move forward one leap of faith at a time. My fear of reselling was the reviews ,shipping, and returns, but here I am today and got 1 return in 3 years, a 5 star seller rating and no longer afraid of shipping. The things we fear most usually never happen. Good video!
Every video on this channel is so valuable to the point that it should be a crime we get to watch them for free. This is without a doubt one of, if not the best eBay reselling videos on this entire platform. And the advice given in it goes beyond reselling, it’s also good life advice. I'm a now disabled Registered Nurse who had to stop working due to severe arthritis...what you just said uplifted me...Ive had a 37 year career...with your principles...now Im starting to thrift trying to get my son through college on a lower income...i started ebay 2 weeks ago and yes there's a lot of work...but I can do it when I can...keeping the mindset as you say...sold 3 things...Im gonna give it a shot...your channel has been inspiring...thanks from Canada

I am not going to go into every detail of my story details. This is meant to be a short list of my events that lead to wear I am today. I have been a Dentist 20+ years, in Apr. 2022 I was forced as a Dentist to take a covid injection by our president, immediately followed by a stroke, I am blessed by God that I am alive today!!! (helicopter, hospital in another state (you just went to there Mall), expected to die but I lived!!), I have had a history of ebay (small) selling since 2002, in 2023 eBay became my existing job, I am now an attempting full time eBay seller. I have times I am discouraged by trying to succeed in EBay. This today has given me another courage to keep trying, don't give up and don't be discouraged! I needed that today! I just wanted to let you know how much I love watching your RUclips videos on eBay reselling. They’ve been incredibly helpful to me. The video about mindset really blew my mind! I started selling on eBay a year ago, and recently, I upgraded my store to a full store. I completely agree that it’s not enough to just dream about what you want-you have to put in the consistent work. The encouragement from loved ones really pushes me to go beyond my limits and aim higher. I know some people may think it’s delusional, but I believe it’s all about having the mindset to avoid stagnation and seeing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. I truly loved this video!
Good video, Justin. I’m 71 and this simply is a life lesson to apply to all aspects of your life, not just reselling. I would hope that these are the lessons everyone teaches their children. Jordan Peterson levels of tough love and motivation are being served in this video. I celebrated my 63rd birthday yesterday. I've been learning to speak Spanish. It's a bucket list thing. I've also been checking out side hustles to help support me through retirement. Things can seem very daunting and it's very easy to want to give up when things get difficult, like learning a new language or a side hustle. I bit the bullet and now I’m closing in on $1 million gross sales in 4 years reselling. Starting was the hardest part. Sometimes I was running forward but it was a lot of plodding.
This was amazing Justin! After closing a stressful service-based business in 2023, I'm starting off doing all new things; reselling and content creation in the works. I've been intentionally reselling for 8 months and I want to be a content creator as well. Probably the most beneficial installment in your video series yet, Justin! I also had to stop & rewind to show the plodding sloth to my 9 yr old daughter. Her most important possession is her “Mr. Sloth” plush. She with help from her mom have a channel here (Lia&slothadventure) that started out centered around her and her sloth but has branched out. Looking for her to catch the vison w/ reselling some day to help the family business. I tell her quite often that she likes to eat. She likes her ballet and piano lessons, etc. all that income comes from our eBay business.
Great business advice and I am only a few minutes in. Your comment "mistake of thinking they need to have all the details before making the decision and getting started" rings so true. I started my non ebay business on a whim because I could not find a job when I left the city. I started without a business name, without a proper office space, no website, etc etc. Once I had clients and the money was coming I did all those things. I had a friend who was starting a business and spent thousands on a logo, website etc. When I questioned him he said that he was setting up a "real business" not like me. We cut ties after that comment but it has always stuck with me. With a few businesses under my belt I decided to figure out ebay with just personal stuff to see if I could figure it out. I would say it is going well. Truly love it and learn new things every week. Thanks to your videos and so many others. You are doing good things Justin.

I've been selling here and there on eBay for over 20 years, very little. Many life changes led me to see if I could do this full-time and so I started Jan 1 this year. It's been quite the roller-coaster and there has been much "plodding" and even more hard work (which I actually like). While I am not yet making as much as I would like, I am LOVING it overall. I only wish I had all the resources a couple decades ago that we do now, I would have been doing this all along! Nice Video. I know a few, some you-tubers who basically quit Ebay because of various reasons and gave up. I don't agree with ebay on everything but its still the best way to get the most money. I feel the good outweighs the bad, at this point anyway, so I'll stick to that instead of branching out to other platforms.

I started selling on eBay a year ago, and recently, I upgraded my store to a full store. I completely agree that it’s not enough to just dream about what you want-you have to put in the consistent work. The encouragement from loved ones really pushes me to go beyond my limits and aim higher. I know some people may think it’s delusional, but I believe it’s all about having the mindset to avoid stagnation and seeing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. I truly loved this video!
Good video, Justin. I’m 71 and this simply is a life lesson to apply to all aspects of your life, not just reselling. I would hope that these are the lessons everyone teaches their children. I find it fascinating that some find it revolutionary. But I guess everyone needs a reminder. If people need to hear this then thank goodness you’re here to give them the message. 👏👏👏
When you started making RUclips videos I bet you never imagined the truth bombs you're lobbing are so powerful they can make a grown woman cry. Jordan Peterson levels of tough love and motivation are being served in this video. I celebrated my 63rd birthday yesterday. I've been learning to speak Spanish. It's a bucket list thing. I've also been checking out side hustles to help support me through retirement. Things can seem very daunting and it's very easy to want to give up when things get difficult, like learning a new language or a side hustle. You've given me a new perspective on dealing with the changes I'm working on right now. Thank you so much.

Mark Rober music was on point! Great advice Justin 👍🏼 I waited 6 months to list my first items on eBay because I was afraid of shipping or getting scammed. I bit the bullet and now I’m closing in on $1 million gross sales in 4 years reselling. Starting was the hardest part. Sometimes I was running forward but it was a lot of plodding.

I've been intentionally reselling for 8 months and I want to be a content creator as well. I also had to stop & rewind to show the plodding sloth to my 9 yr old daughter. Her most important possession is her “Mr. Sloth” plush. She with help from her mom have a channel here (Lia&slothadventure) that started out centered around her and her sloth but has branched out. Looking for her to catch the vison w/ reselling some day to help the family business. I tell her quite often that she likes to eat. She likes her ballet and piano lessons, etc. all that income comes from our eBay business.

Great business advice and I am only a few minutes in. Your comment "mistake of thinking they need to have all the details before making the decision and getting started" rings so true. I started my non ebay business on a whim because I could not find a job when I left the city. I started without a business name, without a proper office space, no website, etc etc. Once I had clients and the money was coming I did all those things. I had a friend who was starting a business and spent thousands on a logo, website etc. When I questioned him he said that he was setting up a "real business" not like me. We cut ties after that comment but it has always stuck with me. With a few businesses under my belt I decided to figure out ebay with just personal stuff to see if I could figure it out. I would say it is going well. Truly love it and learn new things every week. Thanks to your videos and so many others. You are doing good things Justin.

I've been selling here and there on eBay for over 20 years, very little. Many life changes led me to see if I could do this full-time and so I started Jan 1 this year. It's been quite the roller-coaster and there has been much "plodding" and even more hard work (which I actually like). While I am not yet making as much as I would like, I am LOVING it overall. I only wish I had all the resources a couple decades ago that we do now, I would have been doing this all along! Well thought out and well-delivered Justin, it's hard to talk up your audience and not talk down to them but you did it. Still, these are hard truths for a lot of people who probably want to shut this video off early, but those are the ones who probably won't succeed in the long run. Nice Video. I know a few, some you-tubers who basically quit Ebay because of various reasons and gave up. I don't agree with ebay on everything but its still the best way to get the most money. I feel the good outweighs the bad, at this point anyway, so I'll stick to that instead of branching out to other platforms.
Justin sir, you are absolutely right. If you want something you have to work for it in order for it to be reality. I just did my listing quota for the week early. And now since I watched this video I am ready to list more and get them scheduled already. LOL you got my mindset wanting to keep listing for the future so I can relax couple days or so.
