Very well done video, only thing i would recommend is to plug switch in and test operate new regulator/motor assembly from door switch and master switch on drivers door panel and verify lockout functions properly before reinstalling door trim panel.

One of the main reasons I didn't get rid of my car recently is because I replaced all the regulators and motors.
My passenger front window on my bonneville is broken, whenever I try to move it, there's just a grinding noise. Is the replacement similar?

Hey friend, I know it has nothing to do with the subject of the video and I also know that you do not have an impala, but you have great knowledge about the w platform and a lot of experience in cars in general so: You have an idea on why some impalas have glove box light and others don't? It doesn't matter if they are base, ls or ss, there are some cars on wichever trim that have it and others that do not, as if they had simply forgotten to install it from the factory in some random examples. My impala, which is an ls does not have it, even the owner's manual mentions that this light exists, but it is not there, not even the wiring, however! I have seen base models where that damn light it's in, other ls models that also have it and others that, simply, do not. From 00's to o' fives, seems like the model year has nothing to do with it either, so it was a strange production irregularity or something like that? I don't know. have you seen something like this in other w-body cars? It is common? There is an RPO code for the glove box light? I have even seen some other impala owners swear that this glove box light doesn't exist, just because they never came across a particular car that had it. What a quirk.
Its not too unusual to see that kind of thing in cars . Something the factory sees as unimportant and maybe just getts cut sometimes.
Such a shame, as ridiculous as it sounds, bothers me not having that bulb. Thanks man!
My 2001 Buick Regal rear left window slides down on its own I can hear the motor rotating but the window doesn’t move I think it fell off track. Do I have to replace the whole piece or just snap it back on?
The regulator probably broke. When it does thats how the window acts. You will probably need the whole thing
I have a 1996 Buick Regal custom for door. 3800 engine. From my dad who passed. Need the window regulator for the driver's side. The junkyards on the internet want $300.😮😢 What a bunch of crooks.
I appreciate your video! Ok, you made that look very easy...But, I assume it isn't really. I am not a car person. I am however someone who can be over confident from watching youtube videos. How long do you think this would honestly take a clueless person simply watching this?
