I use delta and these work for me, use master code 000014D1 000A 1003DAE6 0007 as its own “cheat” and then use 83007CEE yyyy “yyyy” is not a part of the cheat but a 4 digit code for specific Pokemon. Go to Pokemon coders fire red cheat code list and under related cheats it will say Pokemon ID that is the 4 digit code. Hope this helps had to figure it out myself.
The code is actived it says for the catch/ steal Pokémon cheat, but once I go into battle it just has a question mark over Pokémon. Once catcher and in the computer it just shows the question mark and freezes emulation
If it doesn't work, just go and sell some rare candies. It will give you a lot of money, or do the nugget hack. But it would be best to just sell rare candies. Hehe, enjoy playing!

Make sure your using the right version of fire red , use 1.0 and it works for me

You have to enable the shiny cheat before picking your starter they will appear shiny
