A tip I'd like to share for those that were able to successfully get a Dots egg: you may want to try to get a copy of a Dots egg, bike around with it between Mauville and Verdanturf so it's really close to hatching (saving between every 2-4 "laps" going from Mauville and Verdanturf and back, so you don't accidentally hatch it), then putting it back into the PC and cloning that Dots egg for use for future ACE glitches. That way, it'll heavily reduce the amount of walking/biking around required to hatch a Dots egg every time you want to perform an ACE glitch. I've tried this trick myself, and it works and doesn't hinder the codes from working.
If you want to do more than a few codes, I prefer to do the slightly more involved setup where you create a glitch pokemon that executes the boxname code merely by looking at its summary. Not only is it simply better than cloning and hatching eggs every time, it also allows you to set specific PRNG states in the field, allowing you to hunt for perfect iv mons and shinies.
How the hell did anyone figure this shit out?!?! Back in the day 10-15+ years ago, i had emerald and knew about the dupe glitch as well as how to dupe legendarys. I gave my friends level 100 rayquazas, groudons and Kyogres as well as other cool stuff.

I was doing the glitch and everything was going smooth until I realized the egg I have has everything correct the only thing is it has status paralysis. do I have to start all the way over or is it fine?
Oh, I haven't experienced getting an egg with the paralyzed status before, but It sounds like it could be the wrong glitch egg, which means you should redo the pomeg berry part and get the correct egg as the codes will not work without the correct glitch egg. I hope it works out!
Started doing this last year but I accidentally let me og copies of pluses and dots get pokerus, will the glitch still work or do I have to get new ones
The pokerus status is fine, as long as you are aware that the EVs gained will be doubled when it has the PKRS status. If it has been cured by it (you will no longer see a "PKRS" but instead a black dot.) it will still get double EVs but cannot spread it to other party members. You must be careful when EV training to make sure you get the right amount of EVs as there is no easy way to check if you did before attempting the codes later. this is why you should have a copy of Seedot that is untrained, so you can try again if it fails.
I dont get what im doing wrong? 10-14 empty, wallpapers forest so i dont mess up. code matches i swear, it just freezes and i hear metal noise when it hatches.

Just as stated in the video, most of the time I get bad eggs. Whenever I do get just an "Egg," however, it’s always in a Premier Ball, does not have Pokérus, and says that it will take a long time to hatch. Is this okay to us this egg ??
Hi! You can't use those unfortunately. You just have to keep trying until you get one in a nest ball with the PKRS effect. You can attempt slightly different timings when you hold "up" for 5 seconds, anywhere from 2-6 will usually be ok. Any more than that and you risk a bigger corruption.
Hi! Yes, you can follow step by step until the end where you change names on pc boxes. Those codes are different, and you can find them by going to the pastebin link in the description, find the code you want to do (I reccommend the one called "first list of codes for box name execution"), scroll down until you see "for Italian versions:" and use those box names instead.

@@CloudyMason Hi! the star is a placeholder/variable that changes depending on if you're performing ACE on the Console or Emulator. You might have missed it, but further to the right you see "* = p on emulator, n on console". So each time you see the star you type p if you're on emulator and n if you're on console:)

My Dots's base EV's are already 17 HP and 8 Attack before any EXP points. How does this work? And how does the EV training work if you accidentaly released the Exp. Share as a 10yr old kid? Can I just put it in front of the party and switch back and kill the Whismurs and Poochyenas so it still gets half the Exp?
@@coenschokker It seems you are confusing EVs for stat points. EVs are like invisible exp points for a stat that can't be seen on the pokemon stat page. When a pokemon earns exp from a defeated pokemon, it will always get the base amount of EVs that the fainted pokemon gives. In this case Whismur gives 1 HP EV and Pochyena 1 ATK. After obtaining the Dots from trade, just give it an exp share and defeat exactly 17 whismurs and 8 pochyenas.

As long as you know the exact EVs it has and get those right you are good to go. You may need to lower them to zero to start over to make sure you get the right amount. If it has earned exp before it probably has a very random EV spread and there is no easy way to track what it is without resetting it with berries obtained from Berry master on route 123. there is one berry per stat. Save in front of him, get a berry from him, use it on Dots to see if the stat is lowered or has no effect. Reset game until you get a different berry and try with all other stats. You may need to farm these by changing the clock as he only gives one per day.
if the pomeg berry isn't working it means you have no HP EV's on it. You should increase it's HP EVs using the HP up vitamin or two (or three) until the HP is an odd number. (Even if your shuppet has an odd HP number from before). Then when using Pomeg berry it will work and make shuppet faint.
did you give it the protein and make the HP uneven? Im guessing you are trying to give it a pomeg at 1 hp but if it can't be lowered it means it has less than 10 HP evs, as the pomeg berry reduces HP evs by 10.
What happens if the bad eggs are holding mail? 2 of mine say i cant deposit them back in bc they hold mail apparently 😭 Edit: I just reloaded an older savestate bc i physically couldnt do anything about removing the mail 😭 Edit 2: got unlucky again and got 2 eggs with wood mail but i didnt make the mistake of putting them in my party again, how do i still get rid of them or do they just sit there forever?
@@Aigistoasters I haven't had that occur before, so I can't say for sure.. So, you are able to get the right Dots egg, but some of the bad eggs next to it has a mail attached? Could be because the EV training of Dots is incorrect, maybe it had earned exp before you started training it?
I am using a repo cart and after ~12 restarts to get the right egg I was losing hope. Then I got it, Nestball w/ pkrs. I was so excited I flew to get rid of the bad eggs and in my excitement, I removed all of the eggs, including the good one...poop (Edit) I reloaded a save from an R4 cart and tried again. I set it up again, now to figure out how to actually use these things to get the unobtainable legendarys.

@@duckhunter34444344 Internal dry battery has no effect on the hatching of the egg, so most likely the code is wrong. Make sure to type all spaces, and look for similar symbols that might be wrong!
At 5:21 you can see the egg being named "Egg" instead of "Bad Egg". If you check its summary, you have to make sure its name under the sprite says "Dots", the ball it is in is a nest ball (green ball with orange stripes), and that it has the pokerus virus (purple status "PKRS")
No, Dots is not renamed and you don't need to worry about his moves, just the right EV amount. Level does not matter either. Pluses needs to only know growl, however.
it usually take a few tries to get it. Try letting go of the scrolling at different times each try, but stay within 2-5 seconds. Once you get a Dots egg, it has a chance to be in a premier ball, but you need one inside a nest ball.
@@LeonardoGonzalezChavez no that's fine, but i would reccomend keeping a cloned Dots that has not been ev trained, in case you have messed up the ev training. But as long as you are seeing plusles and dots turning into eggs after the pomeg glitch, you just need to try again until you get the right egg.
@@LeonardoGonzalezChavezOh! Then I can see two possible problems. Either you haven't put the cloned dots and pluses in box 2, or you are not corrupting the game correctly. When getting the question mark pokemon, go into the summary of a pokemon, close it, then I said to hold "up" for 5 seconds, but make sure you press b first to close the little menu so that you are actually scrolling up in the pokemon selection and not the little menu that pops up after pressing "a" on a pokemon. You should be able to hear the scrolling happening.
when i use a pomeg berry on my shuppet, the game says that its base HP fell, but it remains at 1 HP. i also definitely gave it an HP UP. do you know why this is happening? thanks in advance
never mind, got it to work. turns out my shuppet had 61 HP (an odd number) when i caught it, and giving it one HP UP kept it at 61. i used the HP UPs till it got to 63 base HP, and now it works
@@lops271 trade the DOTS egg to firered, then find the code you need from the pastebin (link in description). Or catch Deoxys in Emerald and trade it over.
my pluses is lv 13? I did not train pluses, but it also does not matter if your pluses gets exp, and does not matter what level your Dots is, as long as it gets the right amount of EV points
Pluses act as a stabelizer for the glitch, makes it easier to excecute the dots egg corruption. That's the easy way of explaining it, it can get pretty complicated.

Ok, so i got the pokerus nest ball Dots, I entered the codes exactly, i followed your instructions to the move, and yet somehow im still getting a game crash when my egg hatches. It pops up a red emblem then crashes my game.
@@WolfsOfRagnarok Did you type the spaces too? Common mistake is to forget to actually type the spaces at the end of a box. Otherwise, EV training might be wrong, maybe your dots had Pokerus before EV training, or it earned exp before?
@MankeyMite no, I literally took it right from getting it, and followed the steps, he had no exp prior. I am typing the spaces. I'm giving the 1hp up 7whismur 6poochyena Teaching flash to the dots, deleted the plusses Moves except growl, flash is in 4th slot I'm literally entering things exactly as you're typing them on English legit cart rom. I'm just at a loss 😅

@@_akashi_7221 yea the freeze is usually due to wrong code. Make sure you type the spaces as well. Some of the letters are easily mistaken for other letters.
Sorry for late response.. What do you mean with decor trader? If you mean he has a different hair color it is normal, he has a different hair color depending on the trainer ID number.

Yes that should not matter! I have tried it on mGBA emulator, not sure if it works on all emulators but try the cloning glitch first to see how that works out before doing all the other stuff! Good luck!
@@squirrelgaming276 does it say the base HP can't fall? If so, you haven't given the shuppet any HP ups. You need to give it enough HP Up vitamins until the next odd HP number (might take 1-3 vitamins). Then the pomeg berry will work and reduce the HP evs.
@@squirrelgaming276 was it at 1 HP when you used it? if so, use another until it faints. If you see a questionmark on the hp bar, you can try to give it a potion and see if it faints.

@@809munker13 ahh yes, it happens quite often! You can try to hold "up" longer than I did for more corruption, which might increase the odds of getting the correct one, but also could corrupt more in other parts of the game

@@spyrosmoukos4512 crashing is most likely due to wrong pc box names. Make sure you type the spaces, and don't mistake q for a 9 and so on. One tiny mistake is all it takes for it to crash.
@@Xueqs The game itself is not breaking, but the save file might be corrupted in a way where your items disappear, your trainer card stats changes numbers etc, but if you check these things before saving and do exactly what I do in the video, there should be no problems, but I can't guarantee it hah.. If it does "break", you can always just start a new save file and you wipe away the corruption.

Try to do the cloning glitch. If that works, you might be able to do it. I have no knowledge on the fake ones, but let me know if it works!

Try to move the glitched egg to the first position of your party first, then enter "deposit" mode and delete it there without looking at the summary.

What happened if i got rid of my Pluses i got in emerald? Can i trade ralts for a pluses in ruby and trade it over to emerald? That should work right?
I believe that works! Also, Pluses is not a must, it just increases the odds to get a Dots egg drastically.

Does it work on fire red? Like the mystic ticket(lugia/ho-oh) and aurora ticket (deoxys)?
if you trade over the glitched pokemon it can be done there as well.

No, when you get the Dots egg after the pomeg berry glitch you don't need the Shuppet or fainted pkmn anymore:)
@@MankeyMite when I try to hatch it just stays on a black screen for 30s before the egg animation starts then freezes. My internal battery is dry, do you think that could have any effect?
@@duckhunter34444344 Internal dry battery has no effect on the hatching of the egg, so most likely the code is wrong. Make sure to type all spaces, and look for similar symbols that might be wrong!
So I get the mystic ticket then I go to delete the question mark and the game crashes
try placing the hatched egg first in your party before going to the pc and deleting it:)

What does "dots in a nest bowl with poke russ" mean?
At 5:21 you can see the egg being named "Egg" instead of "Bad Egg". If you check its summary, you have to make sure its name under the sprite says "Dots", the ball it is in is a nest ball (green ball with orange stripes), and that it has the pokerus virus (purple status "PKRS")

Does it matter what lvl the dots becomes after you defeat all of the 7 whismur and 6 pooches? Cuz mine is lvl 9 and i see that yours is lvl 8

No, Dots is not renamed and you don't need to worry about his moves, just the right EV amount. Level does not matter either. Pluses needs to only know growl, however.

When I do the glitch I don’t get any seedot eggs after I white out. Is there anything I am doing wrong
it usually take a few tries to get it. Try letting go of the scrolling at different times each try, but stay within 2-5 seconds. Once you get a Dots egg, it has a chance to be in a premier ball, but you need one inside a nest ball.
@@MankeyMite I also cloned all my see dots after gaining exactly 17 ev’s, could that be problematic?
@@LeonardoGonzalezChavez no that's fine, but i would reccomend keeping a cloned Dots that has not been ev trained, in case you have messed up the ev training. But as long as you are seeing plusles and dots turning into eggs after the pomeg glitch, you just need to try again until you get the right egg.

@@LeonardoGonzalezChavezOh! Then I can see two possible problems. Either you haven't put the cloned dots and pluses in box 2, or you are not corrupting the game correctly. When getting the question mark pokemon, go into the summary of a pokemon, close it, then I said to hold "up" for 5 seconds, but make sure you press b first to close the little menu so that you are actually scrolling up in the pokemon selection and not the little menu that pops up after pressing "a" on a pokemon. You should be able to hear the scrolling happening.
when i use a pomeg berry on my shuppet, the game says that its base HP fell, but it remains at 1 HP. i also definitely gave it an HP UP. do you know why this is happening? thanks in advance
never mind, got it to work. turns out my shuppet had 61 HP (an odd number) when i caught it, and giving it one HP UP kept it at 61. i used the HP UPs till it got to 63 base HP, and now it works

the level does not matter, as long as it has the correct EVs:)

@@lops271 trade the DOTS egg to firered, then find the code you need from the pastebin (link in description). Or catch Deoxys in Emerald and trade it over.

my pluses is lv 13? I did not train pluses, but it also does not matter if your pluses gets exp, and does not matter what level your Dots is, as long as it gets the right amount of EV points
What's the Plusle for?
Pluses act as a stabelizer for the glitch, makes it easier to excecute the dots egg corruption. That's the easy way of explaining it, it can get pretty complicated.

no, but if you set up the glitch in emerald and trade the egg it is possible.

Ok, so i got the pokerus nest ball Dots,
I entered the codes exactly, i followed your instructions to the move, and yet somehow im still getting a game crash when my egg hatches.
It pops up a red emblem then crashes my game.
@@WolfsOfRagnarok Did you type the spaces too? Common mistake is to forget to actually type the spaces at the end of a box. Otherwise, EV training might be wrong, maybe your dots had Pokerus before EV training, or it earned exp before?

yes, because in order to clone you must have access to the Battle Frontier, which is unlocked after beating the game
Is the wrong code the main reason for the freeze?
I entered the code 5 times but the game still froze(playing on emulator)
@@_akashi_7221 yea the freeze is usually due to wrong code. Make sure you type the spaces as well. Some of the letters are easily mistaken for other letters.

Sorry for late response.. What do you mean with decor trader? If you mean he has a different hair color it is normal, he has a different hair color depending on the trainer ID number.
@MankeyMite Oh, sorry, I meant to delete this comment. He was the decoration trader for me, and I messed a few things up when trying to do this glitch, so he never wanted to give me the mystery gift items😅 All sorted now.

@@squirrelgaming276 does it say the base HP can't fall? If so, you haven't given the shuppet any HP ups. You need to give it enough HP Up vitamins until the next odd HP number (might take 1-3 vitamins). Then the pomeg berry will work and reduce the HP evs.

@@809munker13 ahh yes, it happens quite often! You can try to hold "up" longer than I did for more corruption, which might increase the odds of getting the correct one, but also could corrupt more in other parts of the game

@@spyrosmoukos4512 crashing is most likely due to wrong pc box names. Make sure you type the spaces, and don't mistake q for a 9 and so on. One tiny mistake is all it takes for it to crash.

@@Xueqs The game itself is not breaking, but the save file might be corrupted in a way where your items disappear, your trainer card stats changes numbers etc, but if you check these things before saving and do exactly what I do in the video, there should be no problems, but I can't guarantee it hah.. If it does "break", you can always just start a new save file and you wipe away the corruption.
