    You should look into “disinhibition.” That’s the technical term for what we call “nerves” when an animal is dead by keeps trying to run, hop, etc. It’s why a chicken can run around with its head cut off. Basically, motor neurons in the spine tell certain animals to do certain things, like run or hop, and their brain is constantly inhibiting that behavior. That’s why a bunny can react to danger so quickly. It doesn’t have to go through an OODA loop, it just has to stop not hopping. Disconnecting the brain causes them to uncontrollably kick, hop, run, etc. because it can no longer tell the motor neurons not to do that.

    That setup is rad. I could definitely see the utility of a suppressed .22 handgun. What I can't understand the logic in is when survivalists pick a .22 rifle. There is no way I would ever give up the range and firepower of a real rifle for a .22. A .22 handgun, however, gives up a lot less capability compared to other handguns, and the advantages of a .22 carry over well to a handgun.

    • @Operatoroveralls
      @Operatoroveralls  Месяц назад +2

      @@MTMILITIAMAN7.62 I agree. If it's a survival situation, as in you vs nature.....sure. A 22 rifle would probably be my pick as well. Just because I can shoot small stuff and not ruin it. And I can shoot a lot of stuff with the amount of ammo I can carry. So I should be able to have food for a longer period of time.
      But if it's a situation where it's people that I'm having to survive, a 22 rifle is certainly not my pick.

    The Victory series are reliable? 😆😆😆😆😆 That's hilarious! That and the fact you knowingly run a 5.56 can on a rim fire pistol tells me you don't know wtf you're talking about.

      @@Operatoroveralls Such a good cause! Thank you! Even after I got out of the Navy and went to school on my GI Bill bene's I really didn't grow my hair that long. A few years ago I finally gave in and got some hearing aids. Naturally I was a bit self conscious so I grew my hair pretty long. My plan was (when I realized how ridiculous I looked as a old guy with long hair) to do the same as you. Then I read an article that said that the latest version of artificial (?) hair was so real in texture and looks that most places weren't accepting real hair anymore. I stopped after that. I am so happy to hear you are continuing that donation, especially for kids!
