Nice, i took mine out for my 2nd ever test flight, 1st with goggles and was able to fly it straight away, not as brave as you, but i pulled off a few successful barrel rolls and a few flips (front and back) however unfortunately i got too cocky and tried a triply frontflip and lost way too much altitude in the process, RIP VTX antenna/board and 4 propellers... ordered backup VTX's so can't wait to back up into the skies!
Oh no, Actually the same thing happened to me. EVERYONE companied about the arms in this model, but the top plate was the weak point. I actually bought a replacement frame and planned a video to easily move all the parts over, but it’s still in my giant To Do list.

I have placed the spare frame in my wishlist on banggood (£27) i gotta stop buying stuff though.. it's getting expensive now.. the only burning question that has been bugging me is... where the hell can I buy a gopro 6 mount for it? They only make session mounts as far as I can Google.. I don't want to splash out on another camera as I love tbe quality/fps of the 6.

Especially for things like the Wizard X220S when there are going to be 100,000 videos on how to diagnose and fix it like there are for the original.

How do you set up the 3d flip on this drone? Eachine made it too bloody complicated in my view.I got this and it cost £145, and yet I prefer to fly my £45 Bugs 6 ! Rob

The transmitter was only on 25mw so it was probably 100 meters, I set it to 200mw yesterday and got 200 meters which still seems short. I think I might have broken my antenna though so I'll reserve judgement. I'm using these goggles. ruclips.net/video/t1x9rjArpgo/видео.html
Awesomeness. Not even a newby here only own slow flying camera drones. But I'm very impressed and interested in the fpv quods. My question is are there onboaord fpv cameras with better range and quality? The video in most of what I've watched useually is choppy and brakes up.

noob question. but why does my quad automatically pitch forward? I have to pull back on right stick to keep quad level, this may just be how acro mode works but just double checking is all.
@@SimRacer101 Hey bro, I'm a little late to the party. Got my x220 and I love it. I can't figure out how to put it in the right mode for flips and stunts. Which switch do you flip? If I go into the TX menu and look at switch assignments and flip them, 1st one is sport mode (is that just more aggressive flight angles), 2nd is throttle hold and 3rd is throttle up. I don't want to Beta or Clean Flight if I don't have to.
Saw andys on this. I believe the tx has 10 channels so if the rx has at least 7 channel you should be able to use one more channel for all flight modes. That is if my take on it is rights
Check out "andyrc" video on it for 10 channel set up.i think when in " aux switches" it says 6 channel at the bottom and you can change it to 10 there.
Yep, I definitely watch Andy's channel. This was all recorded before he had posted. I have a video just for getting started and fixing the quirks so you can get in the air as fast as possible with the Wizard X220S in progress.

+MEA FPV The Fuuton is a LOT lighter. Did you see my review of that? Probably not, all of it's electrics exploded when I plugged it in and I had to return it and never got it posted. So I would go with the Wizard. :-)
DroneRacer101 thanks for the fast reply. I checked Andyrc video of it and he mentioned that it does not perform well on a 4s and if used with a 5s its extremely loud. So what now?:p
+MEA FPV I think it performs fine on 4S, it just isn't insane like it is on 5S. The stock props seem to be the weak point which is very easy to resolve. It depends on what you want to do. Pure racing? freestyle? Or something versatile that you can take and do anything with but not as well as something speced for it. The Wizard is still still brand new so people haven't gotten to tinker much yet. But I think it is going to dominate that third category for the rest of the year at least.

check out the orginal wizard, i got it on sale but the price is similar to the racer 250 but is missing features like a buzzer (which is easy to install) and an osd, but it has carbon arms instead of plastic so its pretty durable, and flies really smooth. i have some flight videos on my channel if you are interested.
Fab Lab FPV see I saw some reviews that said that it had some major flaws like the side plates sliding around and a lot of components breaking in crashes, so I thought this one would be a lot better but this so much more expensive that the original
It depends a lot on the environment. In open space with good goggles this would probably to a kilometer. But I would risk taking it out that far. The batter is good for 2-4 minutes depending on how you fly it.
DroneRacer101 can gps be added for hover option and alt hold? And be turned on and off? I'm looking at getting my first race drone and would like that feature incase I lose orientation flying line of sight and or lose reception using goggles so I could flip to gps and altitude hold
Nice flight but they dont fly from box as advertised especially for a new bigner trying to get in to this sport. And then no back up .if you can fly mine from the box and be honest you can have it.iam not new to flying .

The OSD is included in the drone's factory setup or it's an upgrade that you have made after purchasing the model :) ?

Is video being recorded straight to the drone or controller..?
Two ways to record video. 1. It has a gopro mounted on it. 2. The goggles have a DVR and record the video.
DroneRacer101 is the dvr recording what it looks like in the goggles
airmode and already installed by default settings?
It should be, I had mine a year ago, anything shipping now will support air mode, and if it isn't enabled by default it is a really easy setup.

What sport camera did you use??
I use the GoPro Hero Session for most flights. At the moment I think it's the best value. geni.us/GoProHEROSession

This is a racing drone. It won't hover in place all by itself like a GPS drone.

Not right now with Betaflight. Inav can do it but that is why I keep an Angle switch on my radio. So I can flip to level mode fast.
