I love details! If something works I want to know what it is! The market is so saturated with products nowadays that if I can find someone I trust (like you 😘) that can tell me what actually does what it says it does I'm all over that. Saves me having to search through 100+ different options to find one that is good. Plus it saves me money in the long run.
Thanks for reminding me of the importance of evening routines. I've been tweaking my morning routines no end the last few months, but I'm going to let my morning routine be "good enough" for now and practice a more relaxing evening, adding sunset walks, etc. Thankfully I have wonderful Chinese neighbors teaching me Tai Chi and Qi Gong for their evening routine. It's very nice.
I'm a compulsive skin-picker too, and also find night's when I fill the time nourishing my skin so much easier. This vid has been a wonderful reminder to make more of a concerted effort to do it every night! Thank you x
I love feeling like I can live like this but I don't have 3 hours to walk, then go to the gym to sit in the sauna, come home and do zen music and shower then make tea and watch tv and exfoliate and lotion and all of this haha. maybe one day. it looks relaxing though!

Love this routine. I always sleep better with a post dinner walk! The only thing I would warn against is 'gamifying' sleep. I went down that path, also after reading Why We Sleep lol, and it caused a lot of anxiety that led to insomnia. Why We Sleep talks a lot about what happens if we don't get sleep but doesn't aid in the mental aspects that can cause disrupted sleep. If you are someone who has perfectionist tendencies, less is more. After CBT-I, I don't track anything anymore, especially sleep. Just my personal experience, awesome that it works for you :)

The skin picking is so true. I don't have mirrors everywhere in the house cause I will catch myself doing it. I have lost hours before and been late to work from skin picking. I did start a skin routine and find myself doing it before I do my routine once I get. In the mirror. So it's been hard to break the habit. So glad to hear someone talking about it.
Your hair looks SO GOOD!!! Both compared to how it looked before and in general. Like if I saw you on the street, I would think that your hair is super pretty and you definitely take care of it. Which is even more amazing when knowing the issues you previously had with it. Such a glow up! 🤩

I LOVED this video! As someone with chronic pain and intractable migraines, sleep is one of the most important things - yet being in a phd program, it’s the thing I skip out on the most. This video has motivated me to put my sleep first because you are so right, I’m probably going at 50% of my capability when I’m getting half the hours I should be and it’s hurting my progress more than if I were to stay up! I related so much to this and still found it quite hilarious, so no need to apologize for the chill video, your personality always shines through 🥰 how do you like the oura ring? Would you recommend it over a fitness tracker watch? And also where did you get your digital planner from 👀

Crazy how sleep affects one’s mental health. I really saw it during the newborn stage of motherhood… I got actually scared that I was losing my mind. And really, I was severely sleep deprived. It’s so important, and for all you parents out there, definitely ask for help.

I feel like I need to do something, I struggle to go to bed, it's self induced insomnia because my days are filled with a boring job with boring people and when I go home I workout then eat that takes me to around 8.30-9pm and then I want to enjoy my time. My dog passed away last week and I have been utterly heartbroken, so maybe I need to just try and be better at this
You should use a daylight alarm clock instead of the awful apple sound. I switched 8 years ago and wake up about 5 min before my alarm time just from the light gradually brightening. So much easier on me when I have 4am wake ups for flights.
