Thank you for making videos on this, hard to find anything for UK

Glad to help! That's one reason I thought I'd make something. So many are from US where the usage and availability is different - plus so few vids from men on GLP1

Well done! How are you feeling?? I found the first week so weird - just lost interest in food and fizzy drinks within days. I'd already lost the water weight before starting, so was amazed at the loss 📉 week after week :-)

Nicely done, SUBSCRIBED!! I'm on start of week 3, stuffed up my injection (syringe & vial only available here in Australia) kicking myself! Main side effect insomnia, but have had the runs on 7th day only, twice now. Congrats on your success, fantastic results! :)

Best of luck! Just remember to always have a water bottle to hand and keep your protein up! Avoid "empty" carbs in basic bread, pasta, rice or potatoes and treat yourself to nicer (coz you're eating less of it) foods when you feel like it.
I love the super seedy bread from Asda instead of white, then instead of boring potatoes - if you need to have them - get some tasty reds or nutty new ones. Or fresh protein added egg noodles! :-)
You'll find that when you're eating or wanting less food, you really enjoy having nicer stuff (in smaller portions) when you want it.

Great results! Just came across your channel and subscribed! I am also doing low carb high protein and I’m taking zepbound. I just posted my first video too after 3 weeks on 2.5mg. Friday I’m starting compounded tirzepatide in 5mg because I haven’t been able to get my zepbound filled. One thing I noticed within a couple weeks was zero headaches! Before ditching sugar I literally had a headache every single day and full blown migraines at least three times a week. Excited to follow your journey!

Hey fella, well done on the weight loss. Just a heads up, you were slightly out on your KG/LB conversion. 1kg = 2.2lb, you converted at 2.44

Maybe he was using Imperial pounds, kind of like how an English gallon is 4.54 L and a US gallon is 3.78 L. ;-)

    Hi there
Thanks for your feedback. I am doing my second dose today but I am a bit confused should I turn the pen until it reaches 2 or it only goes up to 1 ? Please let me know.
    Thanks a lot.

    • @peterholdsworth
      @peterholdsworth  6 месяцев назад +5

      Always to 1 :-)
On these pens - there is only 0 and 1.
      1 just means 1 dose.

Have you had any side effects? I do like this drug, no food noise and appetite minimal thus making portions smaller. I ate steak the other day and killed my stomach for days.
Week five for me and just took my first dose of 5mg.
Side effects have been bad though. Painful gallbladder. On abx as possibly infected, have a scan next week. And yes, i know...still taking MJ. Will probably result in it being removed.
Have lost around 9 or 10 lbs which isnt much, but do not have that much to lose. Around another stone.

oooo sorry to hear about the side affects! For me - I feel it if I go for carby meals - like something bready or pasta.
Food used to go through me in like 10 hours (yes, we all know our poo times thanks to sweetcorn! lol) but now, I've noticed this slow to up to 2 days.
I've not actually had any bad side affects thankfully - apart from my injection side looking and itching like a sting for a few days.
On the positive though - apart from all the weight loss stuff, I've not had any (or wanted any) caffeine drinks since I started well over 3 months ago!

Fantastic effort. I'm on monjario and I've lost 6kgs in 5 weeks. Just wondering if monjario effects your sleep pattern? It certainly has with me.
