Many thanks... yes Spain goes from beautiful via verdes to wide open tarmac roads with vistas as far as the eye can see, so diverse! I've tried to capture as best I can ;-) if you've not done so already subscribe to get notified of part 9 :-) See you there ;-)
Good to pick up the new episode, and hearing your growing confidence with the Spanish! . You're right about the white lines gets quite addictive keeping on them and imagining they are miraculously providing less resistance!
Gracias amigo! Yes those painted white lines just give that extra horse power in the mind!! Cheers for watching..... if you've not done so already subscribe to get notified of part 9 :-) Happy pedaling!
Lovely video and great cycling, good job you are not doing this trip over the last several days with this storm Dana that came along that was so bad. I take it your progressing very well towards Serville now ? Shame you experienced those punctures, take care and thanks for sharing 👏 👋
Oh brother Mark, you could tell at the beginning that you weren't quite yourself. It must've been mentally & psychological tiring aswell as physically. But you found the strength to get through the day 😊 That meat-platter dinner looked great! I assume your bike survived the night! Roll on day 9 xx
Yeah, managing the heat was getting to me plus my tyres both had punctures..... Caceres was a great town though and the vistas along the trail went a long way to distract me from my aching ass!!
Great journey so far ….really enjoying it ,I’m actually there doing the miles ….vicariously 😅 The plant that gave you the flat tyre is a goat head or bullhead….known as puncturvine ….an annoying weed that grows up toward other plants and drops off usually by brushing against it or walking or riding over it ….nasty thing. I cycled the pch1 in California and took a leak on the outskirts of Santa Cruz brushing against the deadly enemy of cyclists and had to push the bike into town to buy new tubes ….passing a hells Angel chapter who were parked on the entry road ….much ribbing but of a doable nature 😂 eyes straight ahead etc . Enjoy your ride south and avoid the road over the bridges as you head toward Seville at siesta times …chaos ! Keep pedalling and enjoy the rest of your journey ✨✨✨✨
Thanks, goats heads.... horrid things! I had multiple punctures in both front and back tyres, definitely puncturvine! I was so glad the hostal in the next town had a room and the downstairs car park was perfect for patching up my poor tyres. Keeping going!!
Yes it's not live yet, I'm putting them up Fridays at 6pm to give me editing time between work etc I hope you've enjoyed the journey so far? Thanks for watching :-)

Always good to get your corrections. Muchisimas gracias amigo. Cada dia es un escuela dia
Glad you stuck with pavement. I'm sure you have a very capable bike, but those bumps on gravel sound like breakage is on the way.
@@sharkmentality9717 Ha ha, definitely 😀
