  • I went to Robin Hood country and back to buy a Suzuki Jimny, and discovered the Major Oak, one of England’s oldest oak trees hidden within the ancient Sherwood Forest! I also do a road test of the Suzuki Jimny and find out what it’s like to drive when you’re 6 foot 4. Come with me and enjoy the sights and sounds of my journey to and from Nottinghamshire!

These vlogs are great. Always enjoy the extra “history lessons” as opposed to just a road trip video. Keep up the brilliant work.

Thank you for your support! I definitely want to keep the history side of things going whenever I can.

Hi, great video. I'm considering getting into trade plate driving. Would love to have a chat if there is any way of getting in touch? Do you work directly for a car sales place, or an agency? Many thanks

Thanks! I work for just one car dealer. You're welcome to reply to this comment with your main questions. I want to make a video answering the key questions for people who are interested in driving, so that will help me know the best things I need to talk about on the day!

Thanks, I realise this is a public platform so don't want to get too personal. I've been thinking about doing something similar with an agency, looks like you did well to get in with a dealer! How did you come by the job? You seem quite switched on (can imagine you having a well paid job in IT!) so what made you want to get into this? Does the dealer pay your travelling expenses, and is it an agreed amount per day, or per mile etc? A lot if the trade plate companies seem to pay peanuts...
