  • This is a video of a malfunction at the Sibley Road crossing in Riverview, MI. One of Conrail’s tracks was causing the malfunction. The crossing ended up fixing itself.
This video was filmed at the Sibley Road crossing in Riverview, MI on February 10, 2022 at 5:00 PM.
    Thanks for watching!

Where you said in the beginning of this Railroad Crossing being in Riverview, MI, you got the City wrong, as this Railroad Crossing is in Trenton, MI & the Border Railroad Crossings are King Rd. & Pennsylvania Rd. in Wyandotte, MI.
Heck, you even got the City wrong in the Title as well.
Again, this Railroad Crossing is in Trenton, not Riverview (Unless Riverview & Trenton are like right next to each other or whatever... 🤔).
Also, the West Side Cantilever Gated Signal looks like has a General Signals Type 1 Electronic Bell from what I can hear in there, when you've walked over to the West Side during the Conrail Inner Tracks malfunction. 🤔

Hey Video Lover! Glad to see your back watching my videos! I should have some more railroad crossing content hopefully coming out soon!
As for the city, I do believe this crossing is in Riverview. I think the Trenton/Riverview border is at the King Road crossing and then the Riverview/Wyandotte border is right before Pennsylvania Road. This crossing is right in between those two crossings, possibly making it in Riverview. You may be right though. I will have to go check on Google Earth later.
And yes, the Cantilever on the CN Shoreline Sub does have a GS Type 1 on it. Gotta love those old GS Type 1’s!
      Thanks for watching!

@@railfannick Heck, speaking of the General Signals Type 1 Electronic Bells, in Caleb Belcher’s Vinewood Ave. Videos, on the Flat Rock Gated Signal, I thought that the General Signals Type 2 Electronic Bell got replaced with a General Signals Type 1, which would’ve sounded really nice with the high-pitched Siemens Electronic Bell on the Mast, but listening to the General Signals on the Gated Mast closely & it’s still the original Type 2 one that’s dying.
I hope it gets replaced soon though & hopefully it can get replaced with the Type 1 one to then have it sound nice with the high-pitched Siemens Electronic Bell on the Mast. 🙏🏻
Heck, the Railroad Crossing that only had the Type 1 ones was on the CN Shoreline Sub of Pennsylvania Rd., which sounded pretty nice & pretty high as the current General Signals Type 1 on the Flat Rock Mast at St. Johns St. before they both got replaced with the General Signals Type 2 on the Mast & the Safetran Type 3 on the Gated Cantilever, while the rest had the Mechanical Bells before they all got replaced with the Electronic Bells in the upgrade.
Basically the whole Gated Mast behind the Cantilever got replaced, which took out the General Signals Type 1, while the not working WCH Mechanical Bell on the Cantilever got replaced with the Safetran Type 3.
And speaking of the Mechanical Bells, after the upgrade, now the only Railroad Crossings that continue to have the Mechanical Bells are on the Flat Rock Gated Mast at Emmons Blvd., the Shoreline Gated Mast at Vinewood Ave., & both the Conrail Inner Tracks at Oak St., while the rest only have the Electronic Bells, plus now with the very first ones having the high-pitched Siemens Electronic Bell that’re on the Flat Rock Mast at Antoine St., the Flat Rock Mast at Vinewood Ave., & the Flat Rock Non-Gated Cantilever at Oak St., which is pretty interesting to especially hear & would be really nice to hear it together with the General Signals Type 1, if the dying Type 2 one on the Flat Rock Gated Mast at Vinewood Ave. can get replaced with a Type 1 one to then get that really nice sounding together.

@@videolover2014 Yes, it would be awesome if they replaced the dying GS Type 2 at Vinewood with a GS Type 1. That crossing already has such a diverse mix of bells the GS Type 1 would just make it so much better.
Also, I really wish that there wasn’t such a small amount of mechanical bells left.

@@railfannick ‘Cause back when owensri2 was at those Railroad Crossings, all of them had a mix of Mechanical & Electronic Bells, plus they had the original Incandescent Lifts & the original Gate Mechanisms, especially of the ones that I like very much, like the Transport Products Corp., Raco, Safetran Type S, etc..
I mean, he could’ve recorded the whole entire activation & deactivation at all those Railroad Crossings, plus the full malfunctions as well, like as he could’ve at Antoine St., Mill St., the West Side Inner Track at Vinewood Ave., etc., including when he should’ve gotten his Camera to record the Railroad Crossing pickup that did worse at Oak St., in which he forgot to & grabbed his Camera to record the Railroad Crossing pickup that’s doing it slightly less at Emmons Blvd., but he only did his Videos at some of those Railroad Crossings & the Malfunction Videos that he did were only short, especially the only Malfunction Videos at Antoine St. & Mill St..
He never recorded anything at Sibley Rd. at all.
Out of all the Videos that he did, he did only 1 at Mill St., a few at St. Johns St., a few at Goddard Rd., only 1 at Antoine St., a few at Ford Ave., some at Vinewood Ave., lots at Oak St., only 1 at Pennsylvania Rd. in 2 parts, none at Sibley Rd., only 1 at King Rd., & only 1 at Harrison Ave..
The longest Malfunction Video that he did was at Oak St. in about 9 1/2 minutes long, when the Conrail Inner Tracks were malfunctioning, plus as the East Side Inner Track wasn’t flashing at all due to a broken Flasher Relay, while the West Side Inner Track has completely died, even though at the near end, an NS Train came down from the Vinewood Ave. side on that Track with the dead Signals at Oak St., heading down to Pennsylvania Rd..
Oh, I wish the Gate Mechanisms could’ve stayed longer, as I wanted to have a chance on at least those Gate Mechanisms to see a whole lot of Videos of them running at activation & deactivation before they got changed to what we have now.
Especially with those interesting ones, both Transport Products Corps. at Harrison Ave. are now US&S Model 95 & Invensys Rail, the Transport Products Corp. at Sibley Rd. on the West Side is now a Safetran, the Transport Products Corp. at Pennsylvania Rd. on the West Side is now a Safetran, the Harmon Electronics at Oak St. on the West Side is now a Safetran, the Transport Products Corp. at Vinewood Ave. on the West Side is now a Safetran, the Safetran Type S at Ford Ave. on the West Side is now a US&S Model 95, & the Transport Products Corp.? at Mill St. on the East Side & the Raco at Mill St. on the West Side are both now US&S Model 95 & Siemens.

Hmmm, but the backlights were active on the close crossing to you (which I presume is CN), so maybe it's both CN and Conrail...? Regardless, Nice Find!

Thanks man! I see what you’re saying, but the back lights on CN’s mast signals flash regardless of what track the train is on. For CN, the back lights on the gated signals won’t flash and the front lights on the mast signals won’t flash unless the train is on that track. It’s a bit confusing, lol.
