Has anyone seen michale j white in a real fight ? Since they like to use that against Bruce lee, you can’t fake the moves he was doing and his technique.
They didn’t even have the 2nd greatest MMA fighter on the list. Where was Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson? Outside Jon Jones, i would take out anybody else on the list for Mighty Mouse.
The only guy on that list that actually fought people way bigger than him was Fedor. He was fighting guys over 150lbs more than him and slamming them like ragdolls.
This guy is beginning to irritate me. You don't compare the fighters for fighting against each other, you compare them for what and how they did in their time.
As a BOXER joe Louis defended the heavyweight title 25 times just saying, Robinson maybe better overall because the level of destruction and competing throughout weight classes but achievements, no boxer compares to Joe Louis ever. No holds barred is another matter is not even the same league to compare with boxers.
MJW is clearly biased towards smaller men being able to fight. First he says that Willie Pep was a small guy, which has nothing to do with the fact that Pep was still a greater boxer than Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Then later he says that GSP being ahead of Jon Jones is odd because in a fight Jones would beat GSP. The other thing is MJW's negative opinion on boxers in a fighting context. Yes, that list is BS because boxers and MMA fighters shouldn't be on the same list... It's two different sports. But boxers can definitely take care of themselves in a street fight. Being limited to boxing doesn't mean that you're at disadvantage, especially if you mastered boxing. If you've become good at boxing, there's nothing easier than adding a self defense system and BJJ to your arsenal.
@@jonmacist if you take two almost equally trained good fighters who both have endurance to take a punch for prolonged periods of time - who wins is most likely going to depend on strength - body size is somewhat one of many ways to guess relative strengths between people. Let's take athletics for example: Yohan Blake is blazingly fast, Usain Bolt is equally faster - but Usain's heights provided more advantage because for almost the same effort (energy burned) Usain covered more distance than Yohan Blake due to having longer strides. Hence his most of his wins look effortless especially since he tended to start jogging right towards the end of a race.
@@magadexaba6108 yeah so many varibles, sometimes speed and being small wins, if you can still generate the power, sometimes strength and power wins, size does not matter when there is a huge skill difference 2 examples say a bodybuilder who is say 235lbs ripped and shredded, ok he is strong and if can actually grab you he can hurt you, but if cant fight or does not train in anything and knows nothing he wont even know how to do a basic punch even a hay maker with full power. Then you have a 170lbs MMA guy lets just say he can box, do muay thai, and BJJ he has access to a ton of weapons and would kill the bodybuilder only because the bodybuilder would have no idea how to stop all the attacks or block all the attacks. Size only matters if guys are equal in skill and experience.
My Top 5 Are #1 Bruce lee and hes the reason i think michael jai white hasnt really fought anyone in a real fight even close to technically sound as him because he uses size to much to determine outcomes. 2 Georges St Pierre 3 Jack johnson. In his prime ran 17 miles a day when he still cared. Could fight 75 plus rounds no mma or any fighter could do that today. 4 Jon Jones 5 Rocky Marciano 6 Pre-injury Matt Hughes.
Look how bitter MJW comes across when bruces name is mentioned, why can't MJW just be pleased for bruce, that the world respects bruces fighting ability so much? It's clear MJW envious bruce beat so many karatemen and we know mjw is deep down a karateman.
I'd take Joe Louis to back me in a street fight over Michael Jai White any day... And I'd take Joe Louis over most martial artists too. What the guy did to Max Baer and Primo Carnera stands above what martial artists do in their point fighting.
@androlibre9661 200 fights? Are you talking about Sugar Ray Robinson? Sugar Ray was ranked #2 on this list. And boxing competition back then was different, you can't compare the two. Robinson wouldn't have fought 200 fights in the modern era. But since he was ranked considerably higher apparently someone agrees with your thinking.
Its not about who beat who. Manny Pacquiao came up from straw weight and was dominating natural middle weights like dela hoya and moseley. Listen to max Kellerman break down how impressive it is to be an EIGHT division champion. Thats why he's high on list. That and he absolutely wrecking fighters at 120lb. Something that had never been seen before a 120 pounder with power. And yes a wrestler would give a boxer problems but why pretend like a boxer wouldn't give a wrestler problems. Why pretend like mastering one style makes you more of a dominant fighter than someone whos mastered another discipline? BOXING IS FIGHTING this isnt debatable. A great boxer will give ANYBODY smoke. There's a difference between knowing how to hit and being able to hit. A mma guy may have trained his hands to break stuff but what good is that against a trained boxer if you cant land any of those strikes.
I agree with your Pacquiao point but not the other. An elite MMA guy will pretty much always beat the elite boxer in a MMA or street fight. Boxing is a sport when someone is knocked down you get a chance to get up, that doesn't happen in MMA. Wrestlers will still have better kicks, knees and elbows than the boxers they're stronger in the clinch with much better knowledge of ji jitsu too. That's why MMA guys have to cross over to boxing because it wouldn't be as competitive boxers going to MMA. James Toney Vs Randy Couture is a good example. Francis Ngannou beat Tyson Fury boxing imagine what he would to do him in the octagon lol.
How can you hate on Mayweather? That dude brought a whole new dimension into boxing. Isnt the art of fighting to walk away? How can you lose if you dont get hit?
BRUCE LEE NEVER HAD A COMPETITIVE FIGHT but his knowledge was off the charts he was the FIRST to talk about doing different martial arts practices at once
Exactly! The Brown Bomber never had that traditional 1800s/1900s pugilist stance. In fact Joe Louis was the first boxer to NOT have that weird stance, ushering in the new 21st Century way of boxing. Big fan of MJW but he's way off the mark on this one.

Vlad doesn’t know basic slavery history that we learn in 4th grade in the u.s
This guy is beginning to irritate me. You don't compare the fighters for fighting against each other, you compare them for what and how they did in their time.
As a BOXER joe Louis defended the heavyweight title 25 times just saying, Robinson maybe better overall because the level of destruction and competing throughout weight classes but achievements, no boxer compares to Joe Louis ever. No holds barred is another matter is not even the same league to compare with boxers.
That List is MAD embarrassing! 😂
Michael thinking why am i not on that list
Only against an untrained fighter!
Micheal is saying weight matters that is why they have weight classes but i dont agree size only matters sometimes.
The more i see lists with fighters with different styles, the less they make sense.
Lists should be composed of those in the same system or sport

4 Jon Jones
5 Rocky Marciano
6 Pre-injury Matt Hughes.

@@S5King7 bro what your saying isn’t adding up to your original comment… ✌️
Last question best question 😂
@@J420-k3w Frances lost to fury tho.
