Gotta admit I remember the tobacco industry trying to hook kids on cigarettes early. There were candy or Gump cigarettes. Each one you'd blow and a puff of "smoke " came out. They also used the Marlboro man cause a lot of boys wanted to be cowboys. One thing in my case they didn't count on. My parents! I was to afraid to start smoking because of them. Now they use favored vapes and mini cigars to hook them.

I've watched the series multiple times. There are three observations I made that stand out to me the most of Donald Draper. 1. He never eats, never, barely in meetings too, especially after season three, you see him only when he lived with Betty. That is very serious. (Poor liver he would have died by season 5) 2. The moment he got divorced he went off the rails to a dark path eventually his demise. (I know its scripted, but millions of people are and watched the show.) 3. Every time he talked about God and the Son, he always did it as if he were greater. (Think about that for a moment, am not inciting anything here, but just think about the kind of life he lived) Anyway, Mad Men presents other real life business dealings and what not and some good liners but after season 3, Satan really got more involved in the script. Hail Jehovah.
I have seen this show at least 10 times and I never get tired of it. It was beautifully written and every time I understand things differently.
