- After a long fight with the carburetors I seeked help at MAB power in Germany. The mechanic found that the exhaust cam was misplaced by one tooth! The result afterwards was amazing! The output were increased more than 50HP
Unfortunately the exhaust manifold was cracked, so there was no hardcore result from the dyno run...
The bike performed afterwards 190HP at 0.9bar of boost.

I disassembled the instrument and swaped the diodes!

Ich hab auch kenine Srad hab ne K2 750 *-*
Topleistung ist eine sache aber durch den Turbo kätte man schon unter 6000 tonnenweise Drehmoment :-)

@@ridingforfun7570 only the ‘96 and ‘97 SRAD had carbs, after that they were fuel injected.

with this pressure, this engine should have 230hp
Ignition was at that time still stock and AFR could be better as I still had carbs at that time. So 190 at 0,9bar was about it.
Later i made 250HP at 1,1bar with Megasquirt but I don´t have videos...
@@torbenfunch9937 I understand. the carbs are really limited. 250hp is very good.
I'm building up the courage to do a project at 98 srad, a mechanic said that with forge and some adjustments, this engine arrives at 340hp with 2bar. but the investment is very high and it is possible to destroy the engine.
@@heroipordiversao3934 if you are going to push it with 2 bar you will need forged pistons and you have to use a fully programmable enginemanegement! I blew my pistons twice with the stock ignition map before I swapped the carbs and ecu with Megasquirt.
I'm not sure if the transmission would take 350hp? I destroyed one corg with less power...
Also I think you would run into serious heet problems! I had air to air intercooler on mine which made it hard for the cooler to cool down the coolant so I had to add an extra fan!
@@torbenfunch9937 Which piston used? how did you lower the compression rate? and how much did you down?
@@heroipordiversao3934 I used stock pistons witch i broke twice!(ignition knocking) I lowered the compression by adding a 2mm alumnium plate under the cylinder. As I recal it the compressionratio was about 9:1
12 psi? 190hp sounds low
It is with stock ignition and carbs. I added megasquirt EFI later...
