I’ve been saying since the new pack was announced that it should have a Paris based world. Imagine a small world with a couple apartment buildings (with actual small apartments!) that look like this and a hotel and a cute little Parisian cafe. There could be like stalls on the street selling snacks and roses. It would be the best for a romance themed pack.
*and then the new wedding pack drops and a paris themed world comes with it* it probably wont happen tho

@@dinofairie I think it would be so cool but they would of already finished making the world ages ago and knowing EA, it won’t be something so cool and obvious like Paris. If they have a world it will probably be another boring one based off of America. They had such a good opportunity for a cool world but there’s no way they actually added it. It will probably be a boring world like magnolia promenade. They put no thought in to the world and just added it so they could put shops somewhere, and they will do the same for the new lots.
honestly, i haven’t really been looking forward to the new pack all that much because idk it just sounds dull to me but this is such a cute idea, and i would definitely be interested in this

I imagine the people living here would be problematic friends which one is obsessed with yellow and the other is obsessed with pink. Then the pink friend has like a little chihuahua and the other has a golden retriever. Plus not a day goes by without the pink friend complaining that the kitchen cabinets are yellow and the yellow friend just refuses to sit on the couch.

If you take the larger Dream Home Decorator painting and place the expensive tv (I believe it's from Get Famous) shrinked down in it, you can have a tv but it looks like a painting. That would have solved your problem of what to put above the fireplace!

why does kayla always act like having a fireplace means you cant have a tv... as if wall mounted tvs were not basically made for exactly that purpose...
I suggested it a while ago on Twitter, but I think it would be fun to decorate with only unlockable items for jobs and stuff
Real life architecture always makes me sad when I remember we don't have anything like that in the Sims (4). You might be thinking of Myshuno, but I wouldn't count it because you can only have a select few apartments, and as we've all seen, are sometimes ridiculous 😭
Petition for Kayla to install the TOOL mod so she can live her apartment dreams to the fullest by deleting and replacing windows and changing the front door.
Edit: whilst watching further into the video, also to use it to custom scale items like rugs so they can be between size up options.
Also the Better Build Buy mod so she can open and close debug and live edit, clone debug items, and search for them more easily.

Kayla should use the OMSP red shelf, just remove it before uploading to the gallery and it will count as cc free, it just makes it so much easier to put items on shelves without them floating. And if she wants to challenge herself maybe even try T.O.O.L out, no more brown doors killing the vibe or having to hide the picture with the platform, just remove it or replace it, maybe even the windows (but downloading from the gallery wound mess it up)
Also TOOL would allow her to get any sized rug she requires since she complains about that so much in this game.
The thing i want the most is for each rug to come in all sizes. There are times when a rug matches the room perfectly or I just want to use my favourite rug but I can't because it doesn't fit right in the room
I love color-related builds and the living room is a dream. Simsie should do a purple or green one next 😙

I caught the stomach bug my kids had and have been laying in bed playing Sims all day (thank god for my husband who has been holding down the fort so I can rest). Have been struggling to find something to watch because everything is boring me. Then I land on Simsie. Should have known that’s what I needed. Thank you for being my sick day entertainment Kayla!
this apartment gives me real san francisco apartment vibes! the combo of old architecture and new furniture is very sf to me. also i know the apartment just is like that but the angled/bay(ish) windows in the living room is very classic sf style. i like it a lot it reminds me of my old apartment 🥰
I feel like you should really try out the TOOL mod, so you can change the front door of apartments and more precisely scale rugs

You should try to do a ‘realistic house’ challenge, like make the build really realistic and lived in

This apartment is barely pink 🥺 I like it tho. When I first met my stepmom, she lived in an apartment that was so pink. Pink walls, pink decorations, some pink furniture. It was a really pretty pastel pink and I was so obsessed with it.

I think - in live mode- there's an MCC option to destroy the plaque. And then you could go into debug and get another one, but place it where you would like to have it.
I think I know the kind of vibe you were looking for with that. Though when I saw stuff like it it was normally with bright pops of jewel toned colors not pastel but honestly I like your version way more. Just gives a better vibe.

Build challenge: take your ACTUAL renovation budget (or budget goal if its a long term investment) for your new home and try to make a sims house only with that budget.

Kayla, a trick that I use to put something in the right high when the 9 doesn't work well and made it floating is using those nich of Dream Home Decoration, almost everything attach to them, is like a red shelf cc

You should try using the OMSP shelves (I think thats what its called) for snaping items at any height you’d like. Its a very useful mod for building

Build challenge idea - random number generator to determine how many number of items are allowed to be in each room. E.g kitchen gets the number 7 - can put a fridge, stove, cupboard, table, rug and 2 chairs?! end goal is to make it functional. Numbers should vary between 2-20? Love your videos btw!

Hey Simsie , I know you won’t see this but I started playing animal crossing on Boxing Day (switch and the game for Xmas) and today I got my second campsite villager (the first one that doesn’t force you to move in) and I got PIETRO!!! I couldn’t believe it because on the first nook miles ticket island I went to (before the 3 plots were placed btw) I got IONE. I’m really happy 😁

Do you have a guide how to create additional houses outside of the one might being using playing their main Sim when starting up the game? I have a married couple in a house and I want to create additional houses of ideas I have in my head; but I am not sure what is required to do so. Thanks.
