The craziest thing that's happened to me in the sims was with the Bheeda family in San Myshuno. Basically my sim was trying to complete the serial romantic aspiration and in doing that I was like "heehee let's ruin a marriage" so I wanted to date both of the Bheeda couple. But Arun Bheeda really wasn't into me flirting with him and I got a negative relationship with him and no matter after how many attempts I had (even just to befriend him) it didn't work. It got to the point where I decided I was just going to make him my enemy and I even fought him many times and beat him every time because I was pursuing the athlete career at the time and had like fitness level 8 or something. So I decided as revenge I'd kiss Jesminder Bheeda in the same room as him to show that she was cheating and to make him mad. This was the same day that I fought him and had an argument with him so on accident, after seeing me and Jesminder kiss, he died from being enraged. So I literally attempted to seduce a man, fought him, slept with his wife, and killed him. The sims is for sure crazy...
This made me laugh out loud. I also had my Sim cheat with Jesminder and now she and Arun are enemies
I haven't played Sims 4 now for about a year and this comment is the first thing in forever that makes me want to play again. It reminded me just if the sims craziness that I love
Bro I became best friends with his wife bc I was gonna romance her, but she wasn’t so into it. And so I realized I was living in a “good schools” lot so I was like I need kids. So I switched my attention to him and like even tho we had negative relationship from me being noisy in the apt. It like worked?? And so I ended up having triplets w/ him and then bestie found out. But she has 2 kids with him too so our kids are half siblings. I don‘y want my sim to be with him I was using him for kids but I think I’m gonna convince him to leave his wife so that she can have a better man and I ended up moving out of the apt bc I needed a bigger home for my kids lmao. But drama.

My sim was pregnant and we threw a party for her (baby shower) and the dress code was set to party. Well, it was outside during a heatwave. 13 sims died of heat stroke. We now refer to it as the baby shower massacre!

Oh my gosh, something similar happened with my sim. My sim was in the political field and was throwing a charity event. I held it at a pavilion during the winter, the open pavilion had a fountain at least 10 of the donors died by jumping in the fountain. It was a disaster 😪

I’ve been playing with the Goth family since I started the game. Mortimer and Bella had another son before Mortimer died. Then Bella remarried before having another two kids. Well long story short… All of her five children except for Cassandra (whom died of old age before I disabled death of old age) had some kids and became the founders of their own families. Everyone carried the Goth last name… Bella now has 66 descendants in my sims 4 game. Things went haywire and different generations of the family started marrying each other. There’s also now a museum dedicated to the Goths with potraits of all of them and the ashes of dead goths…

I've found with the limits of the Sims 4, inbreeding is inevitable after a while. Especially with MCCC's story progression options. If your Sims have lots of offspring, eventually after multiple generations your Sims' descendants will make up the majority of the population. By that stage inbreeding is inevitable, though by that point they'd probably be so distantly related it wouldn't be that bad.

@@wastelanderone yeah that's the nearest you can get. I'm talking about even bigger gaps. Like how my Sim met someone from school and they ended up together. Only after they married I realised they shared the same set of great-great-great grandparents and was descended from the elder sister of my 2nd generation.

Idea: legacy challenge, but with ancient "chosen by the gods" heir rules - everyone goes through the sacrificial pond once a (Sim) week and whoever is spared gets to carry on the family line.

I have a story!
Recently, I decided I wanted to try a vampire legacy. Made a male founder, Elliott Crowe, whose name was perfectly randomized by the game. I had a lot of trouble finding a suitable wife for him, but I found Nalani Mahi'ai in a bar, and he really got along well with her. Somehow it slipped by me that she was a mermaid, but I decided I'd make it work. I had planned out this story that Elliott would add a basement pool in the style of a bathhouse for his mermaid love, maybe a beautiful garden pool in the back garden for her. Elliott's a wife guy, he'd absolutely dote on her.
So I bring her back to his place from the bar, settle them on the couch to get to know each other. Her mood is flirty. Things are going well! He tells her one joke. One. A single, dumb joke. And suddenly she's getting up off the couch, and dying of hysterics. ONE. JOKE. She was FLIRTY. She was NOT playful. It felt like a glitch.
So I rolled with it. Elliott spent the next in game year splicing plants, scouring every cookbook and learning everything to know about cooking, fishing in every corner of the world for an angelfish (seriously, why are they so hard to catch? Am I just unlucky?!), in between remodeling his home for his love's return.
Two days ago, he got her back. They're getting married at night on a beach in Sulani. Elliott and his mermaid love, Nalani. ❤️

My favorite sim legacy story: my sim Penny met Shigeru Nishidake (the traditionalist elder from Mt. Komorebi) in a bar. They had a good time, ended up woohooing and Penny got pregnant. The minute she got home his wife calls to tell her that Shigeru died from old age. Went over to pay her respects, to find out his wife also passed. Took both gravestones home to resurrect them. After dedicating her life to becoming a master chef and gardener in order to cook ambrosia, as well as raising their triplets (!), Penny finally got her Shigeru back. Now the happy couple could finally start their life together. However, at their wedding ceremony, one of the triplets kept telling Shigeru jokes, which were apparently hilarious enough to have him die from hysteria. Luckily, Penny managed to beg the grim reaper for his life. And so he escaped death again. An event that repeated itself 3 (!) more times in the course of their life together (for now). Maybe it's because Shigeru keeps destroying his kids' dollhouse, so they're secretly plotting to kill him with jokes. 🤷♀

My favorite sim story was this: My Cottage Living playthrough sim, Rebecca, at first ended up becoming a lawyer, because my plan was very much like, big city lawyer discovering her true passion: farming. Well, along the way she: Married Johnny Zest, became a five star celebrity (unsure how, genuinely.) and then JOHNNY became a five star celebrity as a Simstuber, and by the time they finally ran away to a farm, they had to quit the spotlight or else the paparazzi would keep overfeeding my chickens!
as a rebecca this checks out with my old plans i wanted to be a lawyer but i also want a cow now i wanna be a psychologist or actor and get rich enough to own a farm but not have to be there 24/7
@irishlass i’m a city person so me taking care of farm life 24/7 would be wrong for them i can barely keep my chickens happy in the sims but i love the idea of it so like part time could be cool very unrealistic but cool
literally my first sim was a big scientist.. married Jhonny Zest and he became a famous scientist.
My sim is currently married to Johnny zest (second marriage) and he’s a tech assistant.
I love how Kayla has to repeatedly say "I didn't kill them or anything, they died of old age" Its funny that we assumed there was a murder that happened lol
The weirdest thing that has actually happened during my own legacy was when my best friend called me and asked me if she should have a baby (at the time I was also pregnant and figured that her baby and my baby could be friends) I said yes and she came over while one of my neighbours was over. At the time the free love N.A.P was on so I had to watch my best friend get pregnant in MY house in MY bed.. I never invited her over again after that.

That free love thing got my sim in trouble, too! I didn’t know it was on when I moved him into the neighborhood and when his girlfriend came over and started kissing rando townie! Soooo I had him cheat on her, but when I had her move in, I saw she didn’t have a romance bar with anyone but him. DUDE I MADE HIM HAVE SO MANY SIDE CHICKS UNTIL I REALIZED SHE ONLY DID THAT BECAUSE OF NAP!

The craziest thing that happened for me was I was playing my own legacy challenge and was probably on like gen 4 I believe at the time. It was new years in the sims so I invited all the family members over. My current sims lived in this really pretty lake house, it was surrounded by a lake, but it had a bridge of course. So I invited them over, and whilst I waited I was cooking a grand meal for everyone, not really paying attention to the guests who were taking ages to arrive. So I went to check what was happening, and saw that instead of taking the BRIDGE! they decided to SWIM! in the freezing cold to get to the house. One by one, every single family member that I invited over, either froze to death or drowned in less than a minute of me noticing the issue. I lost about 7-8 sims in 1 minute. I sat there in shock not knowing what to do. I considered not saving, but I decided to just let it happen. Since I like to let whatever happens, happen. I don't undo deaths or anything like that, I just go with it. But I literally had no time to do anything to save them, since they all just went one after the other. So my sim household lost all their other relatives that day. It was the most chaotic experience I had on the sims so far. Oh and, 3 of those sims were my favourites, that made me so sad!!!
I really hope you made them move out the lake house after that-
While playing sims 3, all my family went to the town hall for the graduation ceremony of the teens. Then, I get a notification of a meteorite aproaching while they were still inside! It hitted, they went out and one by one they died. My face was like: O____O Only one sim survived, a sibling who didn't want to go.
So why didn't they use the bridge??? I just need to know

I've also played a family through 10 generations; the 10th generation is poised to graduate from high school. I've played them almost exclusively through all of the packs, so that family is kind of the way I experience each new piece of content released by EA. I think of it like history--as time goes on, civilizations get new technologies, and it creates this really cool thing to look back on.
Jay and Lillie met when they were children and started dating when they reached young adulthood and they started talking to each other. Lillie gives birth to a son named Mario Holiday after his great grandfather Mario Holiday and his wife Augusta Holiday. Actually Mario was looking for love
One of the funniest things that ever happened to me while playing was when I was gonna have a beach wedding for my second generation legacy sims. As soon as I got there a thunderstorm started and right after the kiss at the end of the ceremony the bride got struck by lightning. She did survive but she walked around with electricity flaring upp on her for the rest of the wedding. And of course someone died of old age at the reception. 10/10 wedding experience

Lol while my legacy hier, Mona Lisa (yes she was an artist) was getting engaged, some random dude walked up on the dock which her bf was in the middle of proposing and got struck by lightning, and then after Mona said yes, HER FIANCE GOT STRUCK BY LIGHTNING AND I LET OUT THE BIGGEST GASP CUZ I LOVED HIM SM I DIDNT WANT HIM TO DIE

At the time I had life tragedies installed and oh boy was it tragic. My sim and her husband were recently married and expecting their first child. She went to the hospital and had a beautiful baby girl. Right after giving birth, she went outside, got hit by a car, and died. Her husband being devestated became a chef to make ambrosia to bring her back. He eventually got there and brought her back to life and all was well. They eventually had another baby at home, to which again right after she gave birth, she went outside, got hit by a car, and died again. I guess she just wasnt meant to be 🤣🤣

@@fernandapadilla1816 It does! If you want random chaos I'd recommend it! It has murderers like Jason Vorhees that can show up on your lot, car accidents that can randomly occur (doesn't actually show, but youll get a notification of what happened), fatal illnesses, and so much more!

The craziest sim moment was when my sim was getting involved with kiyoshi from snowy escape and we didn't make it "official" bc I do this thing where I wait for the sim to show interest In me too before i go steady with them sometimes ex. kiyoshi asking my sim on a date. he hadn't contacted her in a while, and she is a people person and actually was in game mad at kiyoshi for falling out with him bc they somehow lost friendship with the distance. so, she invites her childhood crush over and she gets flirty with him at her family's front door and kisses him. i pause the game, embarking in this romantic moment. Two teens experiencing young love- i planned at this point maybe settling for this childhood crush... however, i notice that for some reason, i get sentiment from Kiyoshi where we was furious at my sim for cheating. I was shocked. i was like wait what? first, we are not OFFICIAL. second, HOW DO U KNOW IM CHEATING. and as if it was a scene in a movie, i zoom out of my two teen sims kissing to see kiyoshi standing on the sidewalk, seeing the kiss happen as he is gasping in the moment, perfectly timed with when i paused the game. i was SHOCKED AND SO SURPRISED BC HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN. he just showed up bc i had given him residence keys. rlly one of the weirdest but funniest things ever.
I remember trying to create this speed dating show on my sims save and these two people had identical relationship levels and my sim found both of them attractive so I trapped them both in a room and saw who would die first. The two dudes end up falling in love.

The wildest thing that's ever happened to me in the Sims was actually in my last legacy challenge. So, this was around gen 2 or 3. I had these sims Noah (by heir) and Jace (his husband). They grew up together in the small neighborhood in Newcrest (the really small lots) and Jace was kind of "the bad boy." Raised by a single mom who was kind of mean, he never did his homework, etc. But he and Noah got along really well and they ended up dating and eventually getting married! Well, they adopted this girl, Alana, who was trouble from the get-go. (I play with mods so a lot of this can't happen in vanilla sims, so just bear with me hahaha). First of all, Alana was kind of a bully??? Like she would slap other sims a lot - AND SHE GOT PREGNANT AS A TEEN! Now, that's not a huge deal except... (through the power of a wheel spinner) I decided to have her RUN AWAY FROM HOME! So, she lived on the streets for a few days, PREGNANT, and then....along came Malcolm Landgraab (an adult now). Well, we all know how gross he is. Long story short, Alana moves in with Malcolm in the Landgraab house, like pretending she's in love with him (she's not, she's a gold digger.) She has the baby, a girl, and then when she ages up to a young adult, she marries Malcolm, and shortly after that, he dies of old age. Alana inherits everything, sells the house, keeps the money, and moves into Windenburg with her new boyfriend (WHO HATES CHILDREN), while SENDING HER CHILD TO GO LIVE WITH HER PARENTS/HER KID'S GRANDPARENTS!!!!! Then, after the kid ages up to a teen, Alana decides to be all "motherly" again and have her kid move in with her and her child-hating boyfriend. The daughter hates it and misses her grandparents, but she grew up to have a really good family, actually. I just still think back on "the Alana generation" and shiver hahahaha

Heres my wild experience: I was playing Not So Berry (attempt number 2) and my mint sim (her name was Mint) was so chaotic. First of all as a bit of context i had downloaded a mod that would allow me to have more types of parties. Mostly for the wedding and teen parties. I was also playing in a random sim save I'd found. So Mint was engaged to Travis Scott. At her bachelorette party she met this gorgeous man who was one of her strippers. He was in a super emotional mood, the two were talking and bonding over drinks and when i wasn't looking one thing led to another and they autonomously had a risky woohoo in the clubs closet. To make it worse shed taken a fertility treatment that morning (i have A LOT of mods lolz) bc i wanted to make sure her and Travis got pregnant on their wedding night. So this lovely stripper shed just met got her pregnant. BUT IT GETS WORSE!! I checked dudes name: Keenan SCOTT. In this save the person had given Travis a younger brother and Mint had managed to not only find him but become pregnant by him the day before their wedding. BUT IT STILL GETS WORSE!!! So i chickened out about telling Travis what happened and just let him assume he was the dad. It worked, for awhile. At least until Keenan showed up to the house to visit his son, which was what the notification said. Travis, who had been raising Briar as his own, took the news terribly. And as hes weeping at the door, Mint suddenly stands up from the kitchen table and -no joke- LAUGHED AT THEM UNTIL SHE DIED. And that is the very long story as to why i no longer use as many mods, and am on my third attempt of completing Not So Berry. Lmao. It was nuts, and will go down in history as my most chaotic sim save. 😂😂😫😂

I use no mods, and one of my sims literally lost her husband, 2 times in a row, first of all he drowned and I didn't even know how it could happen I was starting to play, so he died, I made a copy of him and then I went to the kitchen so I could make some food (in real life) and this mf died on a fire, when I came back to check the game, I had my hands with a lot of flour and everything (I was baking cookies) and the grim reaper was watching the tv and the whole family was yelling outside, I wondered who died, and it was the husband man 💀 the sim has a lineage, her grandauther just had a child with a guy who cheated on her, I'm now playing with the daughter of the sim, she is with her fourth husband, she left the third one for another guy that lives in sulani, she had like 30 childs, and a lot of them already died because they were from her first marriage, but I kept on with the potions of youth, so she can see her descendants, she's the legend of my town, a lot of people are related to my sim, they are or my cousins, step-brothers/sisters, aunts, uncles LOL
I'll update when I make more descendants, the list goes like this:
Ingrid-Will (firsts sims to start having childs who have childs lol)
Laurel-Frank (her daughter and her husband)
Love-William (love is my favourite of the six childs that Laurel had, and William is her non-comitial husband who cheated on her with hunter, and Love made hunter break up with him when she was pregnant, so she lives in oasis springs with Josue, who looks exactly like his father)
Sonia (the fourth one, who's gonna have a child soon with any guy I can find, nico has a kid, he is Laurels male child, he married Kaori (an npc from snowy scape, I found her on my high school graduation and instanly, first kissed, asked her to be my gf and proposed, then they had German, who's friend of Camila, the hiden gf of Laurel's husband who's older than him and has a daughter of his own, and had a mysterious daughter that appeared randomly with her last name but isn't in the family tree, so she was adopted by Lizzy, and lizzy had her, but then she burnt the kitchen, and everything burnt while she was outside in a thunderstorm with the poor hillary (the girl she adopted), and called the firefighters, who didn't do anything an almost let my poor cat die, and 2 of my sofas, 5 chairs, like 10 counters, my kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, tea brewer and plants died totally, and I had to extinguish it with lizzy because I called the cops two times and they didn't do anything, so I had to do it by myself, I received 3 thousand simoleons for the lost, didn't help, I ran out of budget after fixing everything, and had to go get a work, but hired a nanny who I had to pay my salary to, and she didn't take care of Hillary, so she grew up as an "unhappy infant" and now hates her 2 science sisters, who lizzy had as a single parent, they are twins and they are hailee and lindsay, and she now has a new baby, who's a boy namied Damien, she wants babies all the time so I give her science babies now that I had to use the money trick, so I could stop being poor af lol)
Candy, the other Laurel's daughter, is gonna marry Francisco, a ginger hair boy who lives with his mom, because her husband left her, and then she got a plastic surgery and started living as a single mother, who lives close to the girlfriend of the other Laurel's son (Ivan) she is Rosemary, her parents are a couple since they were teens. This may not have mods, but it's a wild history, about how almost every sim in my town is fuck1ng connected in a way, will had an affair with Sara, she already di3d, but left 3 sons 2 from will and one that was black, currently blending with my profile pic, literally, Ingrid (Will's wife) had an affair with him, and he gave her a lot of kids, same as will, william, juan jose, juan k and I don't remember the name of the other guy (william and nate were her affairs, and juan k, the guy that I forgot the name and juan jose are her ex-husbands, juan k and juan jose di3d, and the other one caught her with will, who is her actual husband) but Sara, had a child that is from nate, his name is Niko, so he married Audrey, one of Ingrid's childs, because they weren't related in any way, after the beautiful wedding (this wedding came after the wedding of one of the bunch of male sims that had each one of them a girlfriend, one that was named Skrikumar was secretly gay, and had 3 girlfriends and a boyfriend, lived with their aunt in copperdale, and one of the oldest ones married a girl who is daughter of the sim my cousin made, and adopted like 5 childs, one of them was my favourite, her name is trisha, he married her, and his teen brothers started living with their aunt lol. She is now almost an elder, because she was one of the first descendants of will and ingrid) well, to the point, Niko and Audrey had like 7 childs, one of them accidentally, because I clicked yes on a call that said "me and niko are thinking about trying for a baby" and then she was pregnant, but they had like 7 childs, they are teens, except Adriana, who is with Kasumo, (something like that haha i do not remember his name) but she is at the same time with love's husband secretly, and she is Love's cousin.
If you got here, thank you for reading my bible about the whole story of my sim city, I still have more but I have a whole hour writing this, and it probably had a lot of mistakes because I wrote it very quickly and on a phone, so if I find a mistake I'll fix it as soon as possible, so I can finish this whole story that should be in netlifx LOLL

I've played with the same family since 2014! I haven't played a lot so I'm "only" on generation 14. In generation 6 I made my first vampire and he's the only one I havent cured so he is still alive to this day. He has fathered children in several generations after that, so my family tree is all over the place. My first generations has been "erased" from the game, so I keep an external familytree to keep real track. In this tree I mark where one dynasty ends and the the other begins. In generation 8 the Hughes dynasty died out and marked the start of the Falk dynasty, which i am on right now! I turned the founding house into a museum, where my sims now can visit the manor of their ancestors, containing portraits of some of them! I'm just really excited about the rich history I'm creating in the sims, this is why I could never start a new family!
One of my heirs (gen 5 I think) Jolene, was dating a guy called Luis. She broke up with him after finding out he cheated on her with her aunt - who got pregnant. She then found a new guy, Vae'ea they dated, had a baby boy, then TWO sets of twin boys. I then got him to propose and she slapped the ring from his hand lmao. He had the workaholic trait and was always autonomously going to work and leaving her with 5 kids lol. One day he was really tense and they argued and he slapped her, so I kicked him out. The kids grew up into teens and she eventually got together with her best friend of many years, Jayden. They had a baby together- Elisha. Frankin - the oldest kid is a teen and starts a romance with a cute sim called Nadia who he met at school. They grow up, get married, get pregnant and have 2 boys and adopt a little girl bc I wanted a girl as well haha. Those kids grow up to young adults and I decide at this point I want to save the family tree somewhere. So I'm writing down info and entering it to Plumtree. And that's where I make a shocking discovery. Nadia, Jolene's sons wife, is the baby that her aunt had with her cheating ex boyfriend many years ago.
never thought i would be on the edge of my seat for a sims legacy story. lovely

This is why the sims 4 needs a more in depth family tree system, that twist ending was so cursed.
Gen 7 was literally my favorite chaos; all the Holly's, having to explain why she was 4.1, the battle to the death for the heir, and the battle to race to be able to make ambrosia before holly aged up too much and then also having explain to people in chat why eugene was a ghost that permanently lived in the house in his own room and the kids had to share a room.
But I think my favorite thing to come out of this legacy has been the person in chat yesterday that turned pond into a verb and I will now always refer to it as being "ponded"
I had one of my sims plead with grim reaper to save her mother. Grim started flirting so I had her woohoo with him and he brought her mother back.... Well she ended up pregnant, her mother died AGAIN 10 minutes after Grim left, and he wouldn't save her the second time 😤 So Grim just used my sim for woohoo and then left

The craziest thing that has ever happened to me in the Sims was, when I was playing a 10 Generation kind of rages to riches but different (long long story). Because, on Generation 7, my sim Lora found herself a husband. They were great, had 3 Children and looked good together till the day her husband (Anton) got a Phone call from a Ghost. And when I looked closely at that Ghost I was like "Is that Judy?! (Loras Great Grandma). So what I did, was looking into the family tree and you know what? My lovely Lora was married and had children with her great great grand cousin....
That was not crazy, that was disgusting 😅🥲

i was starting a not so berry challenge. got with caleb vatore (don’t know why, they just flirted instantly). wanted a daughter straight away but not a vampire. ended up with twin boys, 1 vampire and 1 human. tried again for a girl, got another vampire boy. tried again for a girl, finally had a human girl. i then (at work, scientist career) had to clone a sim for work. cloned this random alien, not knowing what would happen. the clone was added to my household. he was an elder named daryl and i hated him. he died in our bathroom and no one was sad because no one ever talked to him. caleb then got abducted by aliens, became pregnant and had an alien son. he was then abducted AGAIN and had an alien daughter. i’ve not got past mint gen and i’m so fed up with my sims

Once I had a sim who was in her third trimester on her wedding day and while she was saying her vows she went into labor. Her fiance freaked out and the wedding was called off. When my sim tried to get back together with him he invited her to the romance festival to chaperone his date with another random sim
That reminds me, my mom's sim gave birth to someone elses baby at their wedding and she told me this story and I looked at her and yelled "DADS NOT MY REAL FATHER?!" I thought she was talking about real life and not the sims
I was playing a legacy save I’ve had for awhile, around Gen 4-5 I had this teen sim who was in this adorable relationship with another sim…only to realize after they were engaged and she was added to my household that she was actually my heirs 1-2 cousin from an uncle who kept having kids it was WILD 😭😂
Here’s a story of my gameplay once: my gen 2 teen Journey was dating Orange Bailey-Moon. One day I decided to play as Orange to throw a party and have him make some friends, just for future gameplay purposes. I go into his house and decide to renovate it a bit, but I never noticed I accidentally deleted the fire alarm. Octavia Bailey tries to cook something and a fire starts. She dies. The game was glitchy and I’m not sure why but sims kept spawning in front of the house and crying, but they wouldn’t move. They were passing out of tiredness but they wouldn’t leave. Thorne was one of them. I would tell him to put out the fire but he wouldn’t move. So Orange gets home from school and walks inside the house to mourn his mom… and then dies.
Awesome.
I bring Journey to his house to collect the grave the next day and… she burns to death because of a heatwave.
I quit that save after this.

I miss how in The Sims 3 the generations actually had everyone labeled. It wasn’t just ancestor or descendants after a few generations. I would love to have that feature back❣️
This series actually inspired me as far as ways to keep your sims poorer lol. I do things like upgrading their house often and not having them work hard in their careers and it makes gameplay a lot more fun because the game doesn't get super easy. Probably not your intention but I've enjoyed it.
I personally enjoy playing the "teen is kicked out of the family house" trope
I basically move my teen sim out with barely enough money to buy a lot and then chaos ensues. Bonus points if you have City Living and they're made to live in a cheap appartement that needs TLC
@@skoldpa I've done that too! I find that even then their part time job will carry them. I've only had success with that if they aren't allowed a part time job or gardening or painting.
Ooh! My favorite thing to do is pause/stop their career levels. Like, sometimes I'll have sims that are nurses or medical assistants as careers. I use the MCCC mod to pause their careers so they don't advance. I also like using the part-time job option as well when creating low-class sims too

@@Ty-iz9wd I do the same, though part time jobs don't cut it for me since they don't take much time. I need more ideas for what to have spouses spend their time on when my sim marries. I don't want a ton of extra income but I also have no idea what I want Caleb to be doing lol
a few years back I had these sims that I played with in San myshuno since I just got city living and was having the time of my life. I adored these two. They got married and had triplets and life was going great. The romance festival comes around and they went to it. This was the first time I really noticed the fortune teller so I went up to her. She told me something bad was coming or something along those lines. Right after the interaction, the husband goes and kisses an elderly sim. IN FRONT OF HIS WIFE WHO HE WAS DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH. I was pissed off I think I fought the fortune teller. My sims couldn’t sleep in the same bed together for a while. I refuse to talk to the fortune tellers anymore!

As someone who's watched the Potts legacy live from day one I think my favourite parts of the legacy were the table maid, the yeet that definitely didn't happen yesterday (and that Christine definitely didn't un-mod herself because of), and that time when you were so tired of constantly getting twins, not understanding how it continued to happen, only to figure out that you had forgotten to remove the on ley line lot trait, so it had been going on for 5 generations
I love that! I also realised that their genes aren’t actually getting “messed up” they are just getting out of shape over generations. If you introduce them to sport at an early age you will be very likely to overcome that problem :) it really helped me and some of my adult sims got SEXY

When university came out, I was playing with these teens - one was going to get super good grades, be a model student, and my other one was going be the partier, and just have fun. So, it's second semester and my sim is literally about to fail out, and she goes looking for sims to talk to. When, I see him. A townie. Named Ted Bundy. SO LOGICALLY they had a baby, she got kicked out of uni, and I still wanted to play with her twin and get her to finish her degree so, so goes off and has her baby and the game gave the baby name Anton (The creator of the Church of Satan name was Anton)...Twas a good time..

My heir once married a guy named Kim and she had two kids with this guy until I decided I wanted to plan a party and invite his parents. I looked at his contacts and family tree and noticed i knew most of them. I realized she had married her cousin, but the family tree showed his dad as being her brother. I still think about how messed up all that was lol
Well, this happened in Sims 3, but it's still my fave weird Sims story--so, I had this Sim who worked the night shift at the local graveyard and one night, shortly after she left, an old guy wandered around on her lot for a while and died. Then, since it was a full moon, a zombie showed up, failed to terrorize my Sim for a while...then went over to the old man's grave and started CRYING. Turns out they had the same last name! (From the age difference, I think the zombie might've been the old guy's daughter?)
And to make this even BETTER, the next morning my Sim wakes up, and the second she sees the old dead guy's ghost, she gets a crush on him. What.
This all happened within less than 24 Sim hours. XD

That pond really hurt me when it first came out! I had this family I was absolutely in love with who had the pond in their front yard as a decoration. And well, you can only imagine what comes next:
I’m having a wholesome family party where my original sims twin daughters are aging up to teenagers. As we know, you have to really watch the sims before and while they’re aging up because you don’t want anyone to eat the cake, and then they’re aging up and it’s fun to watch! Right? Wrong. The mother decides that while the girls are blowing out their candles now would be a fantastic time to jump into the pond AND DIE. She literally killed herself on her daughter’s birthdays.
I was really upset but then decided to story tell and ran with it, but I’m still really hurt by it when I think about it 😂
Here's a story for you! I have been slowly collecting all the Sims 4 packs that interest me. About a month ago I started a rags to riches (which I have since decided will be a legacy challenge). I had a decent little house and my sim, her name was Elliot, was doing pretty well for herself giving foot massages and singing at the lounge in Tartosa. I decided to buy the tiny living pack so I could get the perks that come with a small house. Since she didn't have a living room to speak of, I deleted her bed and gave her a Murphy bed so the room could be both her bedroom and the living room. I brought her home after a long night of singing and had her pull down the bed to go to sleep. Immediately it crushed her to death 🤣🤣😭 first time opening the bed, having JUST bought the pack that made this possible in the first place 🤦 I reloaded a previous save because since she had no kids, the challenge would have been over instantly.
When I first started playing the sims 4 my sim had twins, I only wanted one child so I named one Stella Goth and gave her to the goth family, I then raised Hermnie, the other twin and Stella to be best friends, didn't see anything wrong with it at the time.
Here is my story :
Its similar to Hope's story , so my 2 sims (they just got engaged) were just chatting shortly after their daughter aged up into a toddler. I went to CAS to change their daughter's outfits and stuff and the second I came back to the game, the mother started laughing hysterically because of a funny story that the father said WITHOUT me clicking the option. and before I knew it, she died right in front of her daughter...I couldn't even cancel it because the moment I came back from CAS she was already is the process of dying..quite traumatic for the little girl . And. guess what while she was dying , that damn dude of a fiancé was DANCING. Managed to get him to stop and calm his daughter down.
That was a rough sims day...but the drama continues. Sometime later after I manage to get her back with that troublesome to get Ambrosia, she gave birth to a set of twin girls. I was using a mod so that I could use a custom crib but the next day when I went back to the game, the babies were gone, not in the house inventory not anywhere in the house (but the invisible cribs were still there) I tried to get back the previous save but but ended up extra glitchy. I still play with the current save just that the babies are currently non-existent...
So! Funny thing that happened in my Nightmare Legacy Challenge: In like gen 4 or 5 (I don’t have my computer with me so I can’t check) I had these twin boys. They do everything together, they are bffs, and because I chose to do this challenge on hardmode and only make money the Stanley Humphrey way with the Simple Living and Off The Grid lot challenges, they take care of their garden and livestock together. One goes on, gets married, has the next heir, whatever, while the other just lives in the house and helps take care of things, but never gets married or has kids. Well, fast forward to when they’re elders, one brother dies, and all the Sims in the household go and mourn him while the Reaper does his thing, then the OTHER brother stops crying, goes leaves his late brother’s bedroom, goes into his own room AND DIES TOO! Like, the Reaper hadn’t even finished his animation to replace the body with an urn. I somehow ended up with twins with almost the exact same lifespan, and them dying simultaneously made the rest of my household SO DEPRESSED, the wife spent her last few days crying in bed and the teen daughter suddenly went from occasionally helping out while she focused on school to Breadwinner and caretaker of a farm meant for four.
I started the not so berry challenge, Mint was going well living in Sulani, and Rose had just become a teenager. I noticed that she and her younger sister didn't have much of a relationship, so I sent them to scuba-dive together and left them to it while heavily pregnant Mint worked on her mischief and her husband, Makoa, (yes Mint broke up a marriage) cleaned up the house. After a while I checked back on the girls, and they had gone back to the beach (far away from the house, I'm sure some of you know where this is going) I lined up a few more interactions to get them to being good friends and as their last thing to do had them come home because they were getting tired and hungry and needed the bathroom. While they were finishing up I went back to watching Mint Voodoo her colleague and start dinner in preparation for the girls coming home.
Suddenly I get the death music and a notification that Rose is drowning. The girls had decided to swim home in their tired state, instead of walking (I don't know why I thought they would walk, I'm an idiot). Rose's sister could see the whole thing, Death arrived with a scuba, and I guess you can't plead while swimming so the sister couldn't help, she was force to pick up the floating urn and bring it home to horrified Mint.
Now I could have had the sister become the new Rose, and I had another baby that was born mere hours later that could have done the trick too. But I'd worked hard on completing social butterfly for Rose as a kid (because they become a politician), and I'd focused her sister more on the creative child aspiration, and I didn't want to spend the same effort raising the new baby from scratch so soon after the first (raising kids to perfection is hard)... sooo I paused not so berry while the very traumatised sister went on a quest to bring Rose back to life. It took her a while because I'd never done it before and I decided not to take short cuts. In the end she succeeded and raised her teen sister to adulthood. During the end or Rose's teen years I made sure the sister got to start a good life with a husband and kid of her own, so she could truly move on from her trauma and have a full happy end. I hope her family line survives all the way to the last gen, because I came to be really attached to her.
I had a happy family. Mom, dad and a daughter. Thought it was time for a second kid. Mom got preggers. Well, this has never happened to me before. I didn't realize I was neglecting the baby so it GOT TAKEN AWAY. The family fell apart. Parents divorced. Daughter stayed with her dad. Mom moved away and became a teacher and discovered she was bi. TIL this day I want to recover their son but the game yeeted him into the abyss.
Even though I'm only on generation two, I've NEVER had a baby taken away 😔
I wonder if there's a way to recover him? And, if so, I want to make it the sister's mission to find him.
The babies arent deleted if they are taken away! They can be adopted through adopting a child, if you try and look at the adoptable children enough you might encounter him, may take a few tries though.
I had a toddler get taken away while I was off lot with one of my sims. The second I got back to the lot he got taken away because his needs were too low. I think the other adult in the household just didn't take care of the kid. I exited without saving because I considered it to be a bug
@@harmonicaveronica You need to have a high chair on the lot when you're off-lot for sims to take care of toddlers. If there's a high chair, they'll feed them but not otherwise. It's weird.
Hey Kayla! My sims story is from my longest legacy challenge (8 gens) My 3rd heir, Abel was married to a girl I created since his high school sweetheart dumped him. When they were adults, his wife cheated with Alex from the goth family on her own, so I made him cheat on her with his old girlfriend and then they got together, Alex dying from a fire shortly after. This also happened in the 2nd gen with the 2nd child, 2 girlfriends both pregnant he dumped one, she had twins and I raised triplets essentially as there was 3 kids 2 moms 1 dad. Very confusing legacy challenge!
I love hearing her starting to pick up and use more and more British terms from being around Dan so much.

my wildest sim story is in my current (long lifespan) legacy challenge. it started with a single mom, got married, had triplets, everyone grew, parents died off. the boy of the triplets was a rebel and went off on his own to be a rock star while the sisters moved together to start gen 2. wEll.. one sister is responsible and respectful, the other is reckless. the reckless one so far has had 5 KIDS AND ONE ON THE WAY BECAUSE SHE WON'T STOP AUTONOMOUSLY TRYING FOR BABY. ive never had any sim autonomously try for baby, let alone that many times. it could be that her and her husband are erratic, but i don't know for sure. the other sister has two so far, and she'll probably stop there cause she has plenty of nieces (yes they all turned out to be girls) in case you were wondering. (btw i have a few mods that allow more than 8 sims. twistedmexi's full house mod, one that allows try for baby after full amount, and i forgot the other one. just in case anyone was curious :)
I started playing TS4 this year (around February) and custom-set the lifespan to like 3000 days or so, just so I could play with the same sims, make another batch and another to fill the world and see how their lives intertwine.
Then in summer I moved all of my sims to a new save file and restarted everything with a more reasonable lifespan. I’m so attached to my gen 1 and 2 sims because of this, but I’m gradually moving on to my 3rd gen.
I just have lots of fun jumping between different families, even occasionally playing the pre-made households. The Bjergsen family in my world has like 5 kids in Sofia and Elsa’s generation. Sofia made it as a global superstar musician and just had her first daughter.
The Behr sisters each have two kids. Candy’s younger child is trans. Her older child is married to the third child of the flower bunny family and they just had a super adorable kid
Yuki married an NPC named Easton Bannister (I adore that name) and their daughters are so pretty
Anyway, what i’m trying to say is…neighbourhood stories just really bring everything together and it’s awesome
Holy crap I left this comment 2 months ago when my third flower bunny kid’s first kid was born. I got a PC and started using reshade and I love the game even more.
That third flower bunny kid eventually had three kids of his own, who are now teens. The second kid is a bookworm and sort of a genius. He graduated high school early and is now a student at Britechester uni. Since his dad is a celebrity chef with 10 cooking and 10 gormet cooking skills he made regular offerings with excellent pastries at the Britechester statue and became a member of the secret society. He has a crush on his russian roommate but their age gap makes it a bit toxic. Dude’s also a bit of a player apparently. For the first time in his life kid feels lacking in the social and relationship aspect. In the most recent semester he applied to another dorm so he can stay away.
Oh and a while ago, maybe a month or so, I’ve restarted yet another save file because I’ve developed a new style in cas and wanted to make all the sims in the save match that… and that means the third child of the third flower bunny kid, a daughter, is now girlfriends with Cassandra Goth. They’re super cute together.
Sofia Bjergsen married an actor and had a daughter and a son with him, who are now teens as well. Her first child is an actress now and has made it as a global superstar as well, and is engaged to another actor.
I never mentioned that Candy was never married and she separated with her ex aka her kids’ dad a long time ago. And what do you know, she’s found herself a husband and they have a daughter together.
Yuki’s first child is an actress (since she was a child) who’s best friend with Sofia’s first child in high school. She made it as a global superstar before Sofia’s first child, married a sports star and have quadruplets daughters, plus a son, together (for some reason they all have bird-themed names). Yuki’s second child is now a young adult too, and joined the modelling career (check out the mod ICONIC!!). Yuki herself divorced Easton Bannister and is now living her best single life.
I took so many photos with the flower bunny family and they’re still the main family I play with. 31 whole sims of four different generations, minus their spouses that is, so it’s difficult to find a legacy pose for all of them. :(
I’m fully invested in their 3rd gen now. Currently six kids of the 4th gen have been born, but then most of the 3rd gen are still teens so I still have a long time with them before I have to move on. I can’t imagine how devastated I would be when the 1st and 2nd gen sims die.
The wildest thing that happened so far: i have this legacy where one od my sims is an actor who had like 11 kids from 11 different mothers. No kidding. And he was ENGAGED to one of the baby mamas. I wasn't playing with him anymore but ever since I've activated the neighborhood stories I received the notification that this Sim was about to have ANOTHER baby with ANOTHER baby mama, this time the one I actually wanted him to have a family with lol. So I was surprised it all happened so fast. Meanwhile, the woman he was engaged to got old, so he broke up with her and got engaged to the new baby mama right after lol. She was even invited to ther wedding. Then the new baby was born the same day the old baby mama died and he was sad and excited at the same times. Now all of his baby mamas slowly dying bc they're old and he cries everyday lol

I once decided to start a short lifespan legacy after seeing how fun yours was. I was so bad at playing Sims until they died, I had never done it yet. So I made this beautiful unique sim, she had a baby with Bob Pancakes, but married a different townie sim I gave a makeover to. While the baby is growing up they're making lots of memories and I grow really attached so I set the lifespan to normal to have more time with them. On the founder's birthday to become an adult she has an awful day, somehow getting a bad gift from her husband and son 😭 So when her best friend asks to go to the food festival in San Myshuno I accept. My sim had the slob or glutton trait, so they can die more easily from hunger. Well, I wanted the sim to learn a lot of the food stall recipes in San Myshuno so I used UI cheats to lower her hunger need and I lowered it too far... She died and even though I went back to where I last saved, her grave was in the family inventory and it creeped me out so much I never played them again 😭

Wildest thing that ever happened in my legacy was when my teen sim's boyfriend's mom abandoned her son to go marry a criminal who lived in that one really dingy apartment in the city (the one with the bubble blower in it). They had a kid together even though they were already super old so then her son had to raise his brother after the parents died. I do storylines sometimes but the game did that one all on its own

My 2 favorite episodes from stream are pretty neck-in-neck
(1) the day simsie killed Lilith by trapping her in a pool, and
(2) the day we discovered car Jesus
There is a story that really stood out... This Sim I made was reaaaally interesting. She dreamed of Knowing all there is to know, and thorough every means possible. She was both a powerful witch and bright scientist at the same time, taking advantage of the best of both worlds to reach her goal. She arranged to destroy Nancy and Geoffrey's Landgrab marriage, then married him, sent Nancy and Malcon to live far away and took over the Landgrab's fortune to fund her project. Since she didn't love Geoffrey and didn't have an heir, she decided to use Geoffrey's genes to make a clone she could raise (that later on would become the smartest sim ever to exist). After that, she made Geoffrey use the philosopher stone, turned him into a golden statue and sold his body for a small amount of money (compared to what she had stolen from his family)... I know that was kinda mean... She was a powerful woman that dedicated her life entirely to the persuing of knowledge, both magical/spiritual and scientific. Once she was done with her business in Sunset Valley, and had enough money to fully engage on her project, she left the city and went to Isla Paradiso, where she passed all her knowledge, fortune, will and duty to her "Son/Heir/Geoffrey's Clone". After she passed away he went back to Sunset Valley, to finish his mother's work and acquire all the knowledge a sim could possibly get.
This boy wasn't and ordinary sim at all. It was almost like he was meant to become the almighty Sim. His mother/Creator tried to raise him to be perfect. Since when he was a toddler she focused on his skills and everything. When he became an adult something happened to him, he started learning everything too fast! Like, he would get a skill point every second. Then it was decided he would be the chosen one. I gave him the task to learn every single skill the game had to offer. (Before this glitch or whatever, I had him to perfect his mind related skills like Logic, and acquired some perks like fast reading, etc...) It was really fun playing with this sim, because due to his task I had to find ways to make him live forever... Or at least long enough for him to fullfil his task. He used many ways to avoid death, many taught by his mother who knew very well what science and magic could do together. For a long time he turned to vampirism to give him time to travel around the world gathering knowledge. He did everything. Just like hi mother he was very ambitious, and had a taste for adventures. He was successful in his task. He truly became the Smartest Sim I've ever seen or played with. During a part of his life he even tried to understand love, had a daughter... But love was just another knowledge to be acquired. He abdicated his family and loved ones in order to chase what was really inport to him.
In the end, he learned the hard way that there was more to life than knowing everything. He lived for many years, watching from a certain distance his daughter growing up, getting a family of her own... Growing old, and eventually dying. He then found himself all alone, unhappy, even with all his knowledge... He decided it was time for him to let his glory rest in peace. But knowing it would all be in vain if he let all this knowledge go away, he decided to start the ultimate project. He went to live in exile, and spent the rest of his days building a robot, capable of being taught and preserve all his knowledge for posterity. Then he died in peace, knowing that there, beside him was the treasure, the legacy, the sum of all knowledge that him and his own mother sacrificed their lives to get was preserved, just there waiting for someone to discover and hopefully use it to make the world a better place.

I was starting a legacy challenge but decided to start my first gen as a runaway team for story telling purposes. He died the second he aged up to YA of embarrassment, he was previously embarrassed from a teen mood swing and the cake glitched so he froze, peed his pants at the birthday party and died. Perfect 😂
The craziest thing thats ever happened to me in the sims was with my legacy challenge. Belle (the heir) was dating this guy names Hugh and after them dating for like an entire irl month I decided to make Belle propose. He said no and knocked the ring out of her hands and started declining all her romantic interactions. Then, on one date, she saw Hugh and her best friend Summer kissing.
I also just remembered another one!
I was playing with the Landgraabs (dont ask why) and I made then give birth to another child named Greg. Malcolm had to go to school and Nancy and Geffory had to go to their jobs so, dumb me decided to hire a nanny instead of making Greg go to daycare. (Greg was still a baby at this time.) Greg starts crying cause he's hungry and the nanny is downstairs watching tv like its his own house. Then, it gives me the "about to be taken away meh meh meh" pop up so I thought, maybe I can cheat the baby's needs like older sims? So, I shift click on Greg and theres this blank option and I thought "Oh, that must be the make happy option." I clicked it and, IT WAS THE BABY GETS TAKEN AWAY OPTION! The baby gets taken away so I adopt a toddler and name him Greg and be like oh, he had a birthday party and aged up there, it was at Chuck, e, Cheese or something. So now in the family tree in that household there are two Greg Landgraabs.
Alright I know theres a lot of stories in this comment but one more!
I was playing rags to riches with my simself and I had added my irl best friend as a sim to the save. I invited my friend over and my friend was feeling flirty. I look away for one second so my sim could go collect some frogs to make some money when I see an interaction with my friend pop up. I hover over it to see what it says and it says "Flirt". I instantly head over to my sims house again and since my sims house was a tiny house their romantic relationship went up really high. So I thought "Okay, I guess this is happening now." Yeah, now those sims are married. Imagine the awkward conversation when my irl best friend came over and saw that save lol.
Quick update on the legacy with Belle. Belle is an elder and her daughter Lilly is marrieed to Cassandra Goth. The entire family came over to Belle's house for family photos and then I notice Braydon (Belles husband and Lillys step-dad) kissing someone. I thought it was Belle at first but when I looked closer.. IT WAS LILLY HE WAS KISSING. I had the free love neighbor action plan on so that never effected their relationships

At one point, my sim died of embarrassment as soon as she aged from teen to adult. Another time, I had a sim I loved, she married one of Don Lothorio’s kids, and (because I had mods to have more than eight sims) she was deleted. I made up a sad story about how she died of a disease and her husband abandoned his two kids and baby, and they were raised by their grandparents. That was my first gen challenge too.
One time when I played Sims 3 my sim had the goal to host a great party, and whether or not she achieved that goal was based on the general mood of the guests. So she planned an AMAZING birthday party for her toddler. The party is going great until some dude randomly dies!!!! And everyone is getting so sad and they leave the party in tears. My sim doesn't achieve the goal all because some random guy decided to die at my toddler's birthday party :(
The strangest sims event that I’ve endured was rather recently, in my not so berry legacy, my heir had just gotten married and over breakfast she announced her pregnancy to her spouse. He subsequently arose from the dining table and died of laughter, he wasn’t even hysterical the game just decided to kill him off at that precise moment. I was very offended on my heirs behalf and deleted his grave as revenge.
In my Decades challenge, my heir had a brother who fought in two different wars, so he was out of the house for a long time. By the time he became an elder, he had never dated or married anyone, so he just lived with the main household. When he was a few days from passing, I moved him next door with other family, so that I could grow the household. Fast forward -- my heir has had a son who became a young adult. He wanted to go live in San Myshuno, so I moved him out. Well, he comes for a visit and I find out that he's gotten engaged. It had only been about three days in Sims time and he never dated anyone, so I was shocked but happy with it. So, I invite his new girl to my heir's house to meet her and she arrives.. very pregnant. Shocked yet again, but cool. Well, I go into MCCC to make sure my son is the father and it shows that she has other kids, so I bring the kids to my house as well. Turns out that she had twins... WITH MY DECEASED BROTHER! This messed me up! I had a plan for the next heir, but now there are THREE kids in my lineage that are outside of my household. So, I decided to add my son, his pregnant fiancee', and one of her twins (RIP to the other one, we already had 8 members. *shrugs*) back into my main household and I raise my heir's niece and grand kid as siblings. Wildest drama I've seen in a while (that I didn't cause)!
Listening to you talk about your sims and get excited over them makes me feel more comfortable in sharing my interests

My wildest sims save was called the Keener save. My sim Claudia had gotten Married to some guy George who she met that day they had 3 girls Skylar, Ryder, and Dylan. Skylar had 4 kids with this guy Ollie, Parker, Kaylie, Ashley, and Summer. Parker was mean he had gotten one of Kayla’s townies pregnant Zora Lin to be exact they had a love hate relationship they never remarried but they were together. Kaylie married this guy Maxwell and had 2 children Kylie and Kyle. Ashley married this preppy girl Naomi and they had twins a boy and girl. Summer had two daughters and a wife. My sims Ryder had a baby with her sister Dylan’s boyfriend! It was crazy she had a boy named Connor and Dylan later had two twin boys Sammy and Tanner who both had children. Ryder raised Dylan’s children after Dylan died because I blew up her house. Oh I forgot to say that Ollie Skylar’s husband had married another woman after they divorced, named Scarlet she was way younger than Him and was a model they had a son, when Luke was a child Scarlet ran away to Sulani with some random guy she met in the street with maxed skills I think his name was Skyler as well. Lyle never met his 4 other siblings. Then later Lyle who later had a daughter Aspen with my sim Connor’s daughter Katrina that he had with his wife Jolene who was Naomi’s step sister. Also with this new update my vampire sims Emery and Erica who are like gen 4 just got pregnant lol. that’s just gen 2-4 I’m on gen 7 or 8. I’ll link the family tree if y’all want.

I have a ton of wild sim stories but the funniest one was the hwang family, basically I moved them into a home and then went to play as another fam a while, came back a week later real time, most of the originals are dead and the father had 15 KIDS across 4 different single women sims who went on to be single mothers in unplayed households 🥲🥲🥲 over all when he died of old age he had fathered 27 kids as an unplayed household.
The craziest thing that happened recently was that I just started the legacy challenge. I started with the extreme version, 0 simolans and on the 64 x 64 lot in Windenburg. I was planning to keep it a super small family to build a good financial foundation, you know as you do. I lived in a tiny house longer than I needed to, used roofs for walls, working part time and have my sims go to college so they could get those good jumps in their career when they got done. Well second semester of college, my wife gets pregnant. Surprise it's twins. I'm playing a strict patriarchy rule for the challenge, so of course it's girls. I'm like that's ok, I'll finish toddlerhood then I'll be ready to try for a boy. Parents are out of college making money, I have upgraded to a quaint house, twins are about to reach childhood. I'm like, ok, I'm ready. Wife gets pregnant. It's triplets. One is a boy. Needless to say, it's been a rough generation.

The wildest thing that happened in my sims game was at the very beginning of my long lived sims family when I had just bought the game. My founding couple were young adults and I was working on getting them ahead in their careers before they started having kids. The wife was in the scientist career and the husband was a writer. I decided to throw a party at their house, forgetting that all the doors were locked to keep out the paparazzi who followed the husband around because he was a famous author. It was winter and I wondered where all my guests were just as I started getting death notifications, all my guests, including father winter froze to death. That night after the party of doom my male sim was abducted by aliens and he had twins without having any lot traits or fertility boosts.
In gen 5 of my legacy, last year, I had for the first time since starting the sims 4 (and I have Sims 4 since its release) triplets!!! No cheating, no in game bonus to make it happen. Incredible after years of playing, i was so hyped and spun a whole story line. *insert old school horror movie music* It for some reason bugged out my game and the next 4 other pregnancies from that save resulted in triplets (I played spares' houses to set their lives up after they leave the main house). I had to go around and, err, create a few "accidents" to stop the save from being overpopulated. I've never had triplets since, but it's my main nightmare now.
Her whole channel gives me happy vibes.. I come here whenever I'm not feeling very well or when I'm just in a bad mood. Thanks for making our lives better!

In my game, the Landgraab house has over §20,000,000, I had them give excessive amounts to poorer households.
Max is §9,999,999, so they’ve given a lot away. Plus the save is a few years old (this specific progress of §20m under 1 year) and they’ve given a lot of money away. Plus this is on my no cheat file.
Once I was playing a legacy too, and my heir met a really cute girl at school, so I gave her a makeover and was planning to marry them, but... There were no options for the romantic interactions, and when I opened her profile, it turned out they were cousins! I was already on gen 3, so I had to look it up on the family tree and discovered, that my sims's grandpa (who wasn’t created by me) had children with several women, and one of those kids was cousin's dad (my sim's mom's half-brother... It's complicated, I know)
The craziest thing that happened to me was: I had a sim who lived in willow Creek and had been working since she was a kid to become a professional athlete and I had finished the aspiration that goes along with it which means I got the long living trait.... Well it was winter her, her husband, and her youngest daughter (a teen at the time) were in vacation (because I didn't want to deal with them and only wanted to work on my next gen sim) and they were coming home for their middle childs (the next gen) eighteenth birthday party and the party went great, so at the end the three were going back to their vacation house and I was kinda struggling to get them all home, AND MY SIM THAT I HAD WORKED SO HARD ON GETTING THE LONG LIVED TRAIT FOR NOTHING BECAUSE SHE FROZE TO DEATH!!! AND DIDNT EVEN GET TO FINISH GETTING THE TOP PROMOTION OF HER JOB😭😭😭
The poor tragic life of Cecilia:
My sim, Damion, married a sim named Cecilia. They were happily married and had 4 children. On Bunny Day, Damion decided to woohoo with the Flower Bunny. This led to a divorce. Cecilia eventually remarried a sim named Ian. In order for the family to bond, I took them to Mt Komo for a family vacation. While on vacation, Ian tried to woohoo with Cecilia's eldest, a teen named Joseph. Cecilia once again got a divorce. Soon after, her son Joseph died of embarrassment. In their state of grief, Cecilia amd Damion ended up patching things and started dating again.
I love this legacy. One thing that made me laugh for days was you naming the four siblings Dolly, Lolly, Holly and Eugene
I have a decently sized save where I wanted to challenge myself by having a single mom raise 8 kids (it was hard) but I’m finally down to the youngest being a teen and I wanted her to make friends so I saw the calientes had a teen in their household and so I went to make her over and look at her family tree. Turns out she’s the daughter of Katrina and some other townie. Katrina did not marry this girls dad but married some other random sim and eventually died from old age and after Katrina died this random dude MARRIED Nina, so now this teen is being raised by her sister and her step father/brother in law 🤦🏼♀️

@@cheyannepittman1533 MCCC I do know, but didn't know it did story progression. Every time I've used it I get all these last exceptions, even on a vanilla game. UI Cheats has always done what I needed.
I had a legacy family where the dad of my heir was about to become an elder, but I thought, hey, instead of changing the heir or her wife to “can get sims pregnant” what if the dad had a baby with the heir’s wife? The heir then raised her half sister as her daughter while her dad lived in the house because drama is fun. It made the family tree a little wonky

chaotic sims stories? well i have plenty from my switzer legacy! (just for a lil context, ive modded my game to literal hell and back and im surprised my game still even runs)
so, after a sim gets old enough, i move them out of the main house, this is important. i don't often play the main house, i usually play with the kids of the starting sims, Elle and Alfred. and every SINGLE TIME i play any of them, i get random phone calls from elle asking "hey should we have another kid?" and i just brush it off and give a vague answer to it. now here's the real kicker: they had 21 kids. so i'm planning on taking all those extra kids i dont want and locking them in the same house and watching them slowly die. oh and elle is still alive, ive only been playing this legacy for like a month or so now. she also happens to be a great-great grandmother because one of her oldest, carter, got abducted by aliens as a teen and had a daughter named nysa, who also got abducted by aliens as a child (dont question, my game has been modded too much) and had a son named kaze, who recently had twins, kiku and sakura! BUT THATS JUST ONE LINE OF THE LEGACY. carter's brothers (they are a set of triplets) each had quadruplets from alien abduction. its happened so many times that ive actually just decreased abduction likelihood bc it got annoying.
anyways so heres a rundown of the current family tree: elle and alfred were the starting couple, alfred recently passed (rip). they had 20 kids together, and elle had 1 from abduction. the first set of kids was a set of triplets, chris, cory, and carter. they then had a set of twins, lilli and natalya, then another, emil and erika. after them, elle got abducted and then gave birth to akira! then she and alfred had another set of twins, mei and lee, then a daughter, maria, then another set of quadruplets, jeremiah, brian, cassie, and sally, then a set of triplets, anthony, jaxon, and daniel, then lynne, and finally the last set of twins, allen and anita! (who are babies, and just slightly older than kaze's twins) So, yeah there are kids of the starting pair who are younger than the grandkids/great grandkids.
My sim self, the founder of my legacy, died of LAUGHTER when one of her sons aged up! I couldn't even exit without saving, I just remade the whole family I was that mad 🤣
My craziest story about Legacy Challenge happened when I just started: created a sim, moved him in and threw a party for him to get to know other sims. It turned out the party was such a blast he got hysterical and died of laughter before I managed to meet this one sim I wanted him to marry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sometimes Sims autonomy is so funny 😭 I was playing with my legacy save in Sims 3 a few years back and my sim moved into a house when she became a young adult with her high school boyfriend. Well he was hotheaded and kept picking fights so my sim kicked him out eventually. My sim visited her parents house one day and her ex was there... I checked their relationships and turns out her ex bf had started dating her dad??? While her dad and mom were still married???
I'm not very good at letting my sims die but its led to one heck of a fun story (in my opinion, hope you enjoy). Its a long one, sorry, but ALOT happened!
In my legacy family I hopped around a bit; totally non traditional. My founder Daphne married a spellcaster Candor. She had one kid before they met and they had one together. She died but he ended up becoming immortal and has been a constant throughout my legacy, which is so fun. Anyway, as for the kids I flip flopped between Daphne's daughters kids and sons kids for awhile. When it got wild though was the latest gen.
My current sim at the time, an ancient bloodline spellcaster named Peppino from the daughter's side (didn't name him, pulled him from "off the tree" as a YA at a wedding when I got bored of the one I'd been playing and his family) met a vampire and fell in love.
Right away his hubby Troy managed to get himself alien inseminated which led to Esmerald. Peppino, not one to be left out, was a mad scientist by trade and used science to get himself impregnated (male pregnancy trait mod) with triplet boys. 2 of the boys were born spellcasters and 1 was a vamp. Shortly after that Esmerald my genius was YA and went off to Foxbury for college. Well dumb me didn't realize that she could get herself killed at the robotics table when dazed so that happened. This led to her dad abandoning his science career and embracing his magic in an epic quest to bring her back which he eventually did (starting from 0 mind you; he was my science guy!).
So she comes back and decides its time to find love herself. Well girlfriend decided to reconnect with the grim that took her soul on SimDa Dating (totally by accident, I didn't go looking for Grim but he was there and I couldn't pass THAT up) and they had (an initially secret) whirlwind romance. You can totally romance Grim but you have to be willing to embrace the "Ace"ness of it all, which is a uniqueness all its own.
Eventually its serious enough with them that its time to meet the family and also just happened to be time for her birthday. So everyone goes off to the bowling alley for the party and while I'm distracted with the goings on inside what does her vamp brother do but decide to stand outside in the sun and fry to death (Peppino had to pled with Esmerald's boyfriend for Troy's life at least once so I guess it runs in the family?)! I hadn't wanted a vampire baby in the first place and wasn't about to bring the dummy back that way just to die again, so that led to Troy delving deep into vampire lore in order to discover the secret of the cocktail to turn vamps human. He ended up making 2 of them (I was so done with vamps at this point) so no more vamps!
However, Peppino had learned the immortality potion by this point so he gave it to Troy and it worked! Troy got to keep his immortality. Peppino is now on a new Epic quest to become immortal himself, those potions being super unreliable apparently. I put him back in the science career, as that made it easy to find the ingredients for those.
I was playing a 5 family rotation for a bit (the boys are all grown with significant others now) but am taking a break at the moment on a new save (that gets a bit exhausting lol).
SPOILER: Long Post
I’m currently playing a save where it like the 100 baby challenge but with a twist. The moms (last name Coleman) have to have 26 babies (the amount of letter in the alphabet) in every world, I’m on world 4 Magnolia Promenade.
The craziest thing that happened was when I was in Gen-3 and I had went on a small hiatus, once I came back to the save my matriarch Latrice Coleman (who was already died) ghost had vanish. Poof no where to be found. I have went back in an older save where Latrice’s daughter Xandriea had her tombstone in her inventory. I did the whole spill where I added the ghost to the household, moved Latrice out into her own house and then saved her to my library.
Now I want to know if there’s a way to get the relationship of Latrice (original matriarch) to be the mom to Xandriea and so on? Or is there nothing I can do until Sims 4 gets Generations?
With Mc Command Center you can set relationships and you can set her to be the mom. Or you can type the cheat cas.fulleditmode and go into cas and make the relationship be that she is the mom
@@rachelvmayhill I have tried MCC and the cheats and I was unsuccessful on both. Please if you know who to get ghosts who live in the same house family relation to be changed. It will be greatly appreciated
I miss Sims 2 because features weren't just from the mom or from the dad, they grew out of both. Made long-term families a much more interesting genetic experiment. I wish they'd bring that back.
I loved this review of the chaotic Potts family history. I’ve been playing with a sims family for 15 gens and it’s been the most fun I’ve ever had with the sims. There’s been a lot of chaos but one of the strangest ones is that this family is somehow cursed to keep having sims die of the Hysterical moodlet. One time I had a sim, Nova, that had her pregnant second wife move in with her during her third trimester. Right after moving in she went into labor, had TWINS, and then she IMMEDIATELY died of laughter. The WORST luck ever.
My most recent Legacy challenge was in Sims 3. I did a strict patriarchy and in order to get an heir and a spare, I ended up with 4 kids, a set of boy-girl twins in the middle. So the oldest kid, Kendra, had the doll that you could treat well and it would come to life. So when she's a kid, it comes to life. Then when she got the challenge to make the potion to bring him to life, she goes for it. And the imaginary friend (Kyle) grows up at the same time as her. So at one point, there are 4 teenagers in the house. Kendra, her younger twin siblings, and her now-real Imaginary Friend (who worked in the graveyard, which somehow seemed fitting). But wait. There's more. When they grow up, Kendra married her Imaginary Friend. And she had her birthday party, followed by a Bachelorette party. At her bday party, some random Sim died. Then at her Bachelorette party, her mom died or there was a fire or something. I just know I swore off of Kendra parties after that. But her younger brother, one of the twins and the heir, Kenneth, also had an Imaginary Friend, Boo Boo. But after she started coming to life, he didn't spend as much time with her, so I never had him make the potion to bring her to life. And then the youngest kid befriended that Imaginary Friend and eventually brought her to life and then he married his brother's Imaginary Friend. I recently made the switch to Sims 4, so I haven't continued playing them, but I do every once in a while and blog about it randomly.
I hope one day they can make more family terms like 2nd wife, cousins, ex wife… obv that’s like to much work, but I’d love to see lines all across the family tree I think I’d be pretty amusing..
Like don’t worry about game play I just want it on the tree 😏😏
