Please note, the intention of this vid was NEVER to start a witch hunt or to target specific female streamers. I never insinuiated as much in the video, and the only times I used names was to give context to specific points or quotes. This is not a witch hunt, this is not about targetting or harassing streamers, as I CLEARLY point out in the video, the main issue here is twitch's handling of the rules and regulations on their site. Please do not harass or insult anyone on my behalf or your's for that matter since you are only contributing to the issue if anything.
i've heard youtubers say that tags pretty much don't mean anything anymore so you're better off not risking any trouble and putting as little of them as possible. obv not a youtuber myself but I've seen other people talk about that problem in their videos. gl awesome vid!
Honestly you nailed this video!!! Its why I dont stream since no one would take me seriously. Also where did you get that sick tshirt? I need one of those in my life
before fortnite, ninja pulled around 3-6k viewers on average, hes pretty lucky that he was one of the first good players to transition from pubg to fortnite because otherwise he probably would still be where he was before.
Pirate boi ITT: People horrified that streaming can be used not just for streaming games, and streaming platforms can be used for more than that. That's basically what it boils down to. "Back in my day, we only had people streaming video games for fun, no tips, no subs, no women, and we *liked* it!" You guys are the same people who complain that RUclips actually allowed people to make money from their videos. "Oh, the humanity! RUclips should be kept pure and free from profiteering, with only people who work hard to create videos for no compensation...just because...we like slave labor?" Let me get this clear. You have no problems with women expressing their sexuality, right? And you have no problems with men paying/tipping to encourage this behavior, right? *But* your problem is that *you just don't want it on a website originally meant for gaming?* Is that it? So you people would rather Twitch/Amazon spin up a new website called, I dunno, www.Twitch2.com, and then you'd be happy? Because a URL "originally meant for gaming" will stay that way? A URL. Because you hate change. The fuck? You guys know that all a URL does is direct you to a website that directs you to different web pages, right? So, stretching your logic out further, you can literally just add a link to PorbHub on Twitch and you guys would cry foul because...you can't watch video game streams anymore...? Except you can, literally nothing else changed....there's just a link to PornHub now..... How do you people not understand that a website originally intended for gaming, linking to a webpage without gaming content, is not the end of the world? It's a separate web page. You guys are acting like Twitch is a town that just put up a casino in the middle of it. "Man, this town really has changed since the casino was built. Drunkards, prostitutes, and drug dealers are all roaming around now." Okay, makes sense, you don't like the rising crime rates and inappropriate behavior in your public space. If a new link is added to a website that you don't like, *you have the choice to visit it or not.* How is that so hard to understand? Being mad about other people doing things on a platform you use for gaming, is literally like being mad that PorbHub is connected to the Internet...because you'd like only websites for gaming connected to the Internet? And who the fuck cares what a URL was originally meant for? Do you think "Twitch, the streaming service for games" was the first to own that URL? It shouldn't matter. I know you like streams of games. *You still have access to that.* Other webpages on the site *simply does not affect you.* This outrage is based on pure *garbage* logic. It's even worse than the "anti-immigrants" logic, because at least you can retain some semblance of logic by arguing immigrants are worse for your way of life. They aren't, but at least you can try and argue that. This, though? This is just plain *stupid*. Jesus Christ
Your "logic" basically says that you would be okay with ToysRUs, a store created to sell toys for children to introduce section or aisle that sells dildos. The problem is not that streaming can used to make money off of sex. The problem is that you're using a site for something that it wasn't created for. If you want a sexual stream make one on chaturbate not on twitch.
Twitch just needs to put sexualized streamers behind an adult content label, requiring identification in order to access it, like all adult material does (or should). That way they would have a place for their trade without competing with the family friendly gamer streams. Of course some streamers would be dragged there too because of certain concepts or language used in their videos, but I really think its a workable solution.
@@lolcraigeeee1318 which makes those who pay these bitches the real losers since they are paying to get very little in return. @@musek5048 I think it's more about the involvement I've never watched any streamer but I feel like it's different from watching a video But yes I agree with you, go to a porn streaming service not a gaming service
The reason why twitch isn't doing anything about this is simple, The female streamers cause more donations, more subs, more views all of which twitch takes a portion of.
5 day ban for men who criticize women who do pornographic streams. 1 day ban for women who get caught doing pornographic streams. Yes, why would Twitch want to shut any of this down when it's literally a goldmine?
Daniel Mendoza As funny as I thought the rant was, I can see why they're annoyed. These girls are undercutting the market with zero effort through thinly veiled exploitation of their, ahem, natural assets. It can be infuriating to work your ass off to make a good streaming channel only to be dwarfed by some chick doing squats on camera, but that's capitalism for ya. They don't necessarily take viewers away from the legit gaming streamers, but they do risk changing the culture into that of a chaturbate clone, yet I don't think screaming your head off really solves or contributes much.
To think that fortnight is dieing because the people who play it are starting to realize they are so homosexual that they need to quit playing fortnight and start having extremely large orgys with many men.
cuz virgin guys feel like they personally got closer to a girl if its via twitch. The girl says their username and "thank youu i love u so much" and the guy gets ripped off. Plus, shes a gamer girl and thats alway been 'special'
Why not go on Pornhub and XXVideos to see everything for free? But honestly if I had to guess it's probably some teens who can't watch pornsites so they to resort to this.
As a female that actually plays games. I don't use a cam and get asked all the damn time "you should use your cam!" If i wanted to use my cam i would. I see how other girls get treated and talked to. I don't want to deal with that and shouldn't have to. I'm playing games, ill chat with you but i don't want you to tell me i'm pretty. As someone who grew up playing games this is just ridiculous. I was excited when i found out twitch was a thing and wanted to meet people who also enjoyed the same games... its disappointing. I have a sub button but never stream just because i don't want to be expected to act and do the same shit as these other girls. Just let me play games.
Stick to doing what you want to do and stick by it. As long as you have fun and are happy, isn't that what matters most? Who cares what other people think over little things? I used to until I tried to pay my bills at the end of the month using peoples' opinions of little things. Sadly, there will always be bad people out there but you shouldn't let them dictate what you can and can't do. You control your life, don't let them. If they don't like it, then tough luck; there's a door and they know how to use it. You're right, you shouldn't have to deal with nasty people; no one should but sadly, nasty people don't care about anyone else. Just treat them like ants; ants outnumber us 1 to 1 million or so but do we ever stop to think about them running under our feet? tl;dr There's no shame in not being a sell out but all shame in being one. Do what you enjoy most, being creative is a great thing. If nasty people bite, bite back thrice. I then inform them that I haven't had all my shots. Hahaha.

I was having a conversation with a friend a few weeks ago about how it's frustrating as a girl who WANTS to stream video games and grow a community surrounding them. Because any time I've tried I'm constantly asked "why my shirt isn't lower" or "you should stand up".. and then if I turn off my camera completely to avoid such comments, I'm greeted with being "impersonal" for not sharing my face.. :'D there's no winning.
I agree with you 100% its bullshit and they should be removed from the platform, one of my irl friends is a female streamer (an actual female streamer not someone who uses their tits and ass because they got no personality) so im well aware of the struggles actual female steamers go through because of these people. People are also so angry at twitch these days because of twitch's whitenighting towards these thots that this also unfortunately sometimes lands on all female streamers instead of just on the titty streamers. I dont even use twitch anymore and havent in a while because of the clear bias towards these titty streamers by twitch staff, they get away with everything meanwhile male streamers are banned for the smallest and most bullshit reasons. A prime example atm is Alinity, what annoys me even more than these titty streamers themselves is the simps and virgins that actually watch them who are craving for female attention from a girl on the internet they don't even know, like havent you got anything better to do with your life its so sad and pathetic. These titty streamers are completely ruining things for the actual female streamers who respect the platform and want to put out entertaining and engaging content.

Mary Hastings problem is video games were meant for boys plain and simple. We don’t want girl gamers in our community. Video games were a place for boys to go and be boys without having to worry about hurting your irrelevant feelings. No worrying about the language we use in fear of backlash from your unstable emotions. A place where in all good fun I can trash talk my buddies with the foulest of insults and guess what they laugh and we carry on having a great game. Add women or “girl gamers” and another hobby of boys and men is ruined by your inability to rationalize feelings and emotions. Toss in your ability to take a video game and sexualize it and we now have a recipe for disaster. Maybe get your own hobby instead of infiltrating the other genders hobbies and trying to change them to fit your gender specific wants.
How is stating that he watched a youtube video at a thanks giving table edgy? And besides, how can you know what the situation at his thanksgiving? I mean sure, you enjoy thanksgiving, and sure I enjoy thanksgiving, but maybe he doesn't get the luxury we have. Or maybe he too likes thanksgiving but it just turned out crappy this time around so he went to his devices for consolation
Yes, but they'll never be more than that. A girl, just by being consistent will never break the 1k viewer because in the end, the content is non-existent. The most successful streamers are all men because they are creating innovative content, always raising the level and have built a persona. So lets put it this way, in the beginning of the game girls are level 10 but can't xp and men are level 1, but they can grind their way to level 100.
I don't understand how tiddy streamers complain about harrassment when people like forzen and ice Poseidon exist. I just think twitch should start a twitch 18+ section
i bet sooner or later they will have a section for 18+ including those cam whose who are selling sex so AMAZON can cash in more and more money, do not forget sex is money, sex brings money in faster and more like nothing else!
thats the point tho. the second they do that they change the site and user dynamic. it becomes a massive snowball you can't stop. twitch probably hates titty streamers because it changed their site but theyre a company, and they love money so they said fk it

Anon YMouse lmao dude you are ALL OVER the place with your "logic". the issue as i stated has nothing to do with woman openly sexualizing themselves and monetizing, idgaf about that, go make your money, fuck what people say, however at the same time I clearly outlined why TWITCH doesn't want it, because thats not what they do. you gave some examples, now let me give you one that actually makes sense. How do you think people would react if Toys R Us started selling alcohol and condoms? you think itd be cool. i mean, theyre a store right, its in a different isle than the toys, why shouldnt they do that? YOU SEE HOW STUPID THAT LOGIC IS. love that you're trying to educate what a URL is, bruh, im a senior web designer, I know how websites work lol. I also know, FROM EXPERIENCE, that as a company, you have a goal/mission that you run your business by. and sometimes that changes, they pivot, fine. But it's a company decision made by execs and board members, not because some money hungry chicks see an opportunity to cash in quick. twitch IS a website for viewers of all ages, ranging from games, to irl, creatives, to random ass redbull streams, and thats fine, but because the platform wants to stay open and not set boundaries within their site or have a "twitch after dark" idea they will not allow people to use their overt sexuality to make money. other webpages do affect people. If google had a tab that just said "xxx" or "adult" you know how many kids that wouldnt have already searched the terms come across them? do me a favor, step out of that dumbass brain of yours and gain some perspective on some shit before you start pointing fingers with some wack ass argument that you have no business bringing up.
lol. While I agree with you I think boobie streamers are a form of cancer and it's very degenerate. there's literally ppl who only follow and subscribe to ppl like that, and sure they like it, but that's not what Twitch is for. People have easier access to going to xvideos or pornhub to see that shit, not a website about streaming games or irl stuff, or whatever. While I myself don't pay attention to this shit, it's still annoying. I hear about it a lot and it's fucking stupid. Twitch has been known to be corrupt a little bit though. Not a whole lot from what I can see, but it's definitely there.
#SkillsNotSkin We need more actual female gamers to stand up against this bullshit and show girls that they CAN pursue their online dreams without resulting to cyber prostitution.
Given everything that went down in the 1900s, I never would've guessed that more and more females would resort to sex and sexual appeal... the world we live in is messed up if people actually support this. It's times like these where I am ashamed to be a woman...
Keyboardstalker TF you talking about bruh. Twerking while playing call of duty on stream and not touching games outside of that doesn't sound like a gamer to me lmao.
"We need more actual female gamers to stand up against this bullshit and show girls that they CAN pursue their online dreams without resulting to cyber prostitution." No. What we need is more male viewers and gamers who don't get bent out of shape over nothing.
I would say the problem is there really aren't that many female gamers who are actually good at the game. I've only seen like a couple in games that are "easier/more mainstream like OW and LoL, but there really aren't many at all in some of the less mainstream or more difficult games. People will watch a stream for 3 things; skill, personality, or tits. Since most females aren't in a competitive tier in video games that leave personality and tits. Honestly it's very rare for someone to be as charismatic and funny to get so popular off of their personality. There are a few big streamers on twitch that have made it like that but there aren't too many. Most of them are males too but I believe that's because males are naturally born funnier and more charismatic. That leaves one thing for women to get big off of on twitch, tits. It's easy, fast, and extremely successful, which is why, when we do see the popular female streamers, it's the titty ones.
This video is spot on dude. I'm so glad you bring up how other, non-sexualized girl streamers are affected. I'm very hesitant to stream because I feel like I won't be taken seriously or like I have to present myself a certain way to get views. I don't wanna deal with any of that - I'm just here to play video games like everyone else :( It has an obvious negative impact on the whole community - these streams make girls feel like they have to be sexy to be worth anything, and make boys think that this is what girls are supposed to be. Twitch won't make significant changes because they're making money off women's bodies.
DarkKawaii agreed, that's a significant point. I mean, I've streamed myself just drawing before and I've had people come in and ask me to touch myself and stuff like that, so yknow. Not great. I've recently just stopped using my webcam.
There is one good thing to remember about the audience: Most of them on average are good people, and most of them do not actively engage in chat during every stream. If you stream your gameplay for the sake of playing games, people who love games will show up. Growth may be slower, but you'll have a better community. Sure it doesn't make craptons of money quickly, but I think you'd see a lot of generous people over time who don't like the sexualization of streams. You know, folks who are on Twitch to watch games. There will still be the assholes who sexualize non-sexual content, but as a community grows it gets pretty good at shoving that stuff out. Another nice thing in your favor is that female voices tend to have a bigger draw. A crappy webcam and a better mic could do wonders. Some people don't use a camera at all. Depending on the game content (or creative content), that may or may not make sense. You probably wouldn't premier a horror game without letting your audience see your reactions. For a literal art stream, face cam might be completely unnecessary to maximize the 'real estate' to showcase your art. Same with speedrunners, while a camera really helps, if you're at the top of the game it's not necessarily as vital. People will watch good gameplay regardless. The most difficult part of Twitch is just doing it. A lot of people feel a degree of anxiety about hitting the 'start streaming' button on OBS (or w/e platform) but it takes a lot of hours of existing on the site for traffic to just pick up. Speaking consistently and not having much 'dead air' in your broadcast seems to be a big factor. If you've felt hesitant, understand that it's a slow process for everyone unless they catch a viral wave. You know, several really lucky hosts, some kind of internet/meme event that brings you to people's attention, or being known in a really popular stream. Having a big IRL or even RUclips presence makes growth super quick too of course. The reality is, you need to be super regular with a schedule, and you have to engage people. That's mostly it, unless you're a virtuoso at whatever you're streaming.
Oh my god. Shut the fuck up and stop victimizing yourself. There are plenty of "non-sexualized" female streamers out there. (And they are very popular too)
also, there are just tons of streamers, the sexualized ones grown faster, but a lot of male and female streamers are allowed to be small, if you go on twitch looking for a profession then stahp, go on twitch for yourself and if you get an audience then that's a plus
Æsir It was an observation, after which she stated a factual claim. Where the fuck did she victimize herself? She is a part of what's going on, because it effects her. Not a lot of self-victimization here. Probably need to relax bud, smoke a bowl or something
That was actually a huge part of the reason JTV shut down, the constant copyright issues from the swaths of streams of that sort of nature. I miss the fuck outta the entertainment section of JTV, was free cable.
@Hellen Mek white knight, you think that its the websites fault for their lack of dedication to it? They wouldnt be starving if they put effort into their work instead of doing yoga for money. Dont act like they have no choice but to use their bodies either, there are hundreds of female twitch streamers doing amazing without whoring out to viewers.
It's easy to just dismiss Trainwreck's speech as "Oh he's just an incel" but it's not true whatsoever. He's making a very valid point and I applaud him for it.
guys this "greyzone" is called making making Twitch too much money to tell her to stop. (twitch takes a cut from bits and subscribers from all streamers) very profit.
Whereas you are correct in that Twitch makes money from the subs, I do believe part of Twitch's monetization is collaborating with brands. If it becomes known as a glorified camwhore site rather than a prolific live gaming site, some brands may feel apprehensive about working with them and choose to collaborate with someone else - like RUclips, for example. So theoretically this focus on instant gain rather than a sustainable brand-building strategy may hurt Twitch in the long run. But this is just a potential alternative perspective, I'm obviously not informed enough on this matter
@@obitouchiha5684 And I do not understand that as well. As a cam girl and as a person who enjoys video games, the idea of boobie streamers on twitch has always bothered me. We have plenty of other sites to use to show off our goods. Why should we invade Twitch?

It seems like the vast majority of Twitch users are younger kids, especially between 9 and 14. At this point for them, Twitch is like a softcore Pornhub for them. If Twitch is going to allow this stuff to continue, they need to be a lot more open about the sexual content that can be found on the site. I would even go so far as to have a warning when going to the site requiring you to confirm that you're 18 years or older.
Take a walk around any mall in North America during the summer and you'll see sluts wearing much less than most of these titstreamers. Kids are all over the place and a lot of girls dress like sluts in public these days anyways. So its nothing they couldnt see by just walking around.
Would love to see something that supports people saying 12 year olds are the majority, or even a core user demographic on Twitch. It's a popular statement, and I've no idea where people get the idea from.
JonnyUnderrated I don't run into many girls with their caked tits popping out of their shirt, while constantly aiming a camera at them and doing things for strangers for tips. Either way, it's completely different. If I showed a stranger who doesn't use Twitch the types of streams being discussed then what do you think their reaction would be? This narrative that it's just nerds getting offended by "a women dressing how she wants" is so dishonest. There's also a difference between a streamer using whatever sex appeal she has for views and essentially being a camgirl. The kids just crying about "titty streamers" (including clear trolls, who are just fat girls with pushup bras trying to piss people off and are doing nothing sexual for money) are dumb and should stick to reading their bibles. Even the more sexual types of cosplays shouldn't be a bannable issue (ignoring the for x donations/subs part). But there's clearly a few streams that are identical to what you would find on non-nude cam shows, and that type of content usually results in different types of ads and a different reputation. The biggest problem when it comes to this is Twitch being a live streaming platform that encourages streamers to base their streams around a donation system. There's plenty of "sexual" content on RUclips, but there's never much outcry about it. There's something different about it being live and on the spot doing certain things for transactions and pretending to care about the people watching them..
TwitchTV is more profitable than Chaturbate or whatever the most famous CamGirl website is. Truth is, if these girls can win a LOT more $$ and not have to fully take their clothes off, but just showing some skin or wearing clothes that are "tighter". The thing with Pink Sparklez is just that she brings twitch alot of money by being in there. While you could argue some streamers that have been banned while having the potential of many viewers. I'm pretty sure that twitch had found some way to win more $ off of certain streamer while getting less from others, hence they could ban someone that they win less easier than others. The whole thing is. Twitch is a business, whether we like it or not. They will look to the best of their interest in winning more money. Since it was bought by amazon, that makes it even more of a business directed at generating $$ than simply generating fun times for viewers. While I agree it's an amazing way for people to make living (livestreamers) some of them abuse it way too much. Mainly the "problem" in question. "Cam Girl" streamers. I watch alot of girl streamers, not for their bodies or if they look good or not. But because they are entertaining, good at the games they play, etc. If you remember the streamer known as Celestia Vega, she was on twitch for a while, recieved a small suspension, went over to Chaturbate and broke their records, now she is having her fair share of "fun" on chaturbate, and from the time to time streams on twitch playing games! What I wanted to get out of this mini-rant is, you can stream what you want, but do it at the proper places. If you want to show your ass/tits, go on a webcam website, if you want to stream yourself playing games, whether you are good or not it doensn't matter, go on twitchtv. If you want to stream IRL on twitch, atleast look at the good streams. Those that come to mind are Reckful, Sodapoppin, MitchJones, Pokimane, etc. While these streams also have their controversie, they atleast try to not break the basic ToS of the website. While other people try to imitate them without giving a shit about the ToS, AND STILL are able to get away with it (not all of them, but most). What Glink said is true, Twitch has to fix their ToS to a place where those gray areas do not exist or atleast where streamers know how far those gray areas stretch. Anyways, thanks to anyone that read this.
Well tell a suggestion. Lets start with the obvious: Clothing. Is clothing allowed to show cleavage or not ? Are shorts allowed to show buttcheek or do they have to stretch to around ur thigh? Can the shorts be tight or should they be ''guy shorts''? Can guys wear tanktops and show their gains ? Like its obvious why there exists such grey area. Its not that simple to just slam stricter rules. The stricter the clothing code goes the less streamers there obviously will be and when bunch of big streamers quit because of certain rules its going to create uproar in the community
I still gawk at how far Jesse Cox has fallen. What once was a jolly doofus playing games is now suddenly for assaulting edgelords posing as Nazis with no provocation, banning people for memeing about traps, and falling into the same trap of labeling everything as sexism/racism/misogyny/transphobia. Great video Glink. This was the same issue with Reply Girls/Men back when tags were viewable on YT. Low quality, clickbait, among many other things and that's the equivalent of what's happening now, only it's more exploitable due to streaming. Whether Twitch is afraid of being condemned for women hating or they're greedy for the pervy crowd these streamers bring, I don't know, but there's a difference between something innocent and fun like Bob Ross, to streaming IRL, Football, and Politics. And while you didn't throw shade, I do have some to throw beyond your video. I don't give a rat's ass if Twitch doesn't enforce these rules, I'm frustrated that people choose to do so at all. "They permit it" does not change the fact that you set female gamers back and encourage the pervy attitudes of viewers, online warriors, Twitch chat, and many others. So yeah, Pink Sparkles, you're still a toxic abomination who contributes to the problem because you don't want to go the full 9 yards and take up exhibitionism, modeling, or any other adult fields of work. That's on par with saying you're a game developer because you got coffee for a producer, you're a fraud. I'll be stopping now since really...morals are for "losers"
Glink in this video is saying that ninja and jessiecox is "missing the point" when they are answering a direct point that trainwrecks took up in his video. They are not saying that they want the camgirls on the site or that they are good for the comunity, just that the fact that they are not "stealing" views and subs (a straigth wrong fact, like jessie said). So yes, it is alla about the personality, the personality of the VIEWERS that watch the streamers, not the accual streamers themselfes. CONCLUSION: camgirls are not stealing views or subs, but they are however not good for the site as a whole (with site I mean twitch ofcourse) ty for ur time.
The reason people are upset is they already have a site, heck multiple sites, to do cam-girl things. There is nothing wrong with doing cam-girl things on sites specifically for that kind of content...but twitch, at least as far as the written rules are concerned and their official stance on such things, is not supposed to be that. Creative streams and hang-out streams are fine to me, especially if those same streamers also do play games occasionally. The problem is I think these twitch thots just don't want to admit that they are cam-girls. No clue why, it is a perfectly legit means of making money so long as you do it where that kind of thing is supposed to be. If they would just stop lying to themselves we could all be much happier. They just think they are better than everyone else and are entitled to stream wherever they want. I mean the people who are gullible and desperate enough to give them money on twitch are the exact same people that would go to the actual cam sites to give them money there so why they seem to think twitch is a better place to stream that bottom of the barrel, low hanging fruit "content" is beyond me.
Shining Darkness Thissss is the perfect summary of the issue, most people aren’t even trying to slut shame or say being a cam girl is a whore or slutty thing to do, it’s completely fine as long as it’s on one of the MANY sites it belongs in...but twitch? Twitch is for streaming gameplays (from both men and women) and more things that follow the guidelines but yet these, basically cam girls, still thrive on it
I think its easier to rip teens at twitch and get more money of it. I dont think u get that much money on webcam girl site if u aint one of the top girls and u have to do less work. Its all up on twitch staff.
@@raxzar You would be surprised, I spent a long time getting cam girls to get mad on stream and recording their reactions most women have 3-4 VIP's however there is one darkside I noticed, go on the site go to #ebony and go to newest streams, you will see what appears to be multiple girls in different streams all looking afraid and speaking africaans, they all appear to be in the same building you can over hear the other streamers music sometimes, same thing applies to the spanish and brazillian streamers, I reported them for exploitation but they pop back up.
A platform designed to give socially awkward folks a place to build community over gaming gets hijacked by a bevy of shallow, manipulative attention vampires. Oh joy! Be blessed y'all!
The internet in a nutshell. It started with friendly message boards full of polite and enthusiastic people and it devolved into a stage of attention seekers hustling for money.
for real. The first time i checked out actual cam sites there were dudes giving literaly hundreds of dollars to see tits. It was a public show too (wich most are) and like the other 1000 people just got to see for free. Some people have too much money.
Yup, get outside and actually make time for a girl. It's sad and the reason why most guys are just single. The digital world is not everything and will not last, if boys are seeing this as a reward system.
Thanks for this vid. You're 100% right. I'm a female gamer and I stream on Twitch, but due to the cam girls, I will never stream with facecam. For one, I don't think what I look like is relevant to the stream (it's about the game and playing that game after all), and on the other hand I don't want to risk tripping some guys into giving me shit for not being a big boobed cam girl with tits falling out of crop tops in super tight pants doing a bum wiggle every time someone cheers or donates or subs. I don't even want to get anywhere near that, it's just too toxic and destructive. Which is a shame really. Female gamers are all just thrown into the pot with the tiddie streamers. And it sucks that it casts a bad light on all those female gamers who really love to and are good at gaming who just want to have fun and who are not doing it for the $$$. It doesn't just change the demographic of Twitch, but it creates additional problems and situations for other gamers of the same gender.
My favourite female streamer is gabsmolders because she is actually being herself and doing what people actually come to twitch for. As you said people stay for the personality , she is a chill person so I still watch her videos.
Also, this is probably my last vid on livestreaming and twitch for awhile (unless something huge comes up). Let me know with this survey which kinds of vids you'd like to see more of! www.strawpoll.me/14465785
Good one mate, you know when to jump on a sinkin' ship! Although i've already submitted my preference on the survey, i suggest againts politico vids. There's already established political stuffs from Caspian Report, Visual Pol, China Uncensored, America Unplug or something. Gaming stories is so vast and there's also prominent youtubers such as ChiGuy, Cleangamingprince, foxygamingUK, and so on. The field is vast and the competition is fierce. That's why i'd recommend doin' profile pieces, such as that person and the group behind him who pushed for the destruction of Net Neutrality Act.
My situation was my sister had walked in my room while I was watching twitch and she asked what it was, so I therefore showed her through the different categories, I got to the irl section and she asked if it was a porn site... something need to be done !
NathChitt I agree I was watching the league section but wanted to see what's up in the IRL section. Sometimes I watch drawing streams to calm myselve. I left it open on the IRL section and went to get some food. My mom entered my room and was like OH so that's what you are doing all day . Spending all your money on a cam whore website. After that shit happened I needed a whole day to convince her it was a "gaming website". So I even lied to my mother, great. Not watching twitch anytime soon.
Quote from Amouranth "Twitch is in competition with other streaming site, Hitbox etc....." out of nowere she said MyFreeWebCam...that right there told me alote of what she and some girls in Twitch are all about. Unbelievable how a Site dedicated For Gaming is providing more Fap material then some Porn sites. I really really really hope that if within 6 months nothing will change something will happen so that Big Streamers will leave one by one and find another Platform dedicated for Pure Gaming and Tougher Stricter Rules on IRL Streams.
And then we have delusional people like this who still believe Twitch is supposed to be only for gaming. Twitch has branched out a long time ago. It's the reason we can watch Bob fucking Ross on Twitch, you dork.
I checked last night and several camwhores are back and streaming on Twitch: PinkSparkles, BrittanyVenti, Raihnbowkidz, LegendaryLea, etc. are ALL back streaming on Twitch REGARDLESS of the new guidelines. Twitch is a joke now.
i think that you worded this very well. i used to be a cam girl and occasionally stream on twitch so i get both sides of it. thinking as a cam girl, twitch was an easy market and a good way to convert viewers. they watch me game and i throw out my username at the end and where to watch my shows and there you go. there are some girls who stream games on MFC and Chaturbate but the quality is shit and the site doesn’t lend itself to that (there was like 1 girl i saw do this successfully) on the other hand, it’s frustrating to know that there are people only on the website to watch girls. there are other platforms devoted to that and twitch was never started for that purpose. it was started for gameplay and i think it should enforce the rules with that in mind. i think showing off your body with the intent to get more views is disrespectful to the people watching you and to other people who aren’t comfortable doing that. people should watch you for the gameplay, your personality, and lastly looks.
Frosty Wasp they could. i think it would be wiser for MFC or chaturbate to make their website and streaming support gaming rather than lose out on that market to twitch
You either mean Thatgirltammie or Dolleste, depending on which half of 2:04. Rejoice my friend, for Dolleste's cesspool stream received a ban when she let too much of her... personality slip. One less harlot to infringe on our puritanical prudish way of life. ;-)
I feel bad for my real ones out there, the gamer girls actually tryna make a living out there being themselves. My heart goes out to you guys, you the real mvp 😤
This is sad but true. Its why I don't donate or subscribe to female streamers. Most of them are obnoxious and rude anyway. If I honestly wanted to give a woman some cash I would just hire an Escort, or a private session on a cam site. I would get something out of it then. But to the ones that are decent. And have some self respect, I throw them some cash.
Glink honestly makes the best videos on topics like these. Most videos like this I see on RUclips are usually covered in bias. Glink is one of the few RUclipsrs that examines and criticizes both sides of the argument and brings something new to the long existing argument. The video topics are always very interesting and he presents the topics in a way that anyone can follow. I love what you're doing, Glink.
That intro was great lmao. I agree with Ninja on the subject. It gives me a laugh though, watching cam girls on Twitch. Assuming you donate, you are pretty much paying for a "lite" version. Maybe in their head it is some kind moral loop hole. I love a lot of the music featured in your videos, that rendition of "Losing My Religion" at the end is savage!
Shit deal bud!
i've heard youtubers say that tags pretty much don't mean anything anymore so you're better off not risking any trouble and putting as little of them as possible. obv not a youtuber myself but I've seen other people talk about that problem in their videos. gl awesome vid!
Honestly you nailed this video!!! Its why I dont stream since no one would take me seriously.
Also where did you get that sick tshirt? I need one of those in my life
Each video it keeps getting better and better, the best neutral-about-twitch-content out here is you, Glinkz.

Twitch cam girls literally have no creativity. We need them out of Twitch and back to chaturbate.
Pirate boi ITT: People horrified that streaming can be used not just for streaming games, and streaming platforms can be used for more than that.
That's basically what it boils down to. "Back in my day, we only had people streaming video games for fun, no tips, no subs, no women, and we *liked* it!"
You guys are the same people who complain that RUclips actually allowed people to make money from their videos. "Oh, the humanity! RUclips should be kept pure and free from profiteering, with only people who work hard to create videos for no compensation...just because...we like slave labor?"
Let me get this clear.
You know what the difference is between a *town* and a *website*? If people you don't like come into your town, it directly affects you; your public space, your safety.
*You still have access to that.* Other webpages on the site *simply does not affect you.*
This outrage is based on pure *garbage* logic.
*tips fedora*
Anon YMouse Your logic is incredibly flawed. The dude with the comment about toy stores that sell sex toys as well is right.

Hahaha.

Yes, but they'll never be more than that. A girl, just by being consistent will never break the 1k viewer because in the end, the content is non-existent. The most successful streamers are all men because they are creating innovative content, always raising the level and have built a persona.
*You still have access to that.* Other webpages on the site *simply does not affect you.*
This outrage is based on pure *garbage* logic. It's even worse than the "anti-immigrants" logic, because at least you can retain some semblance of logic by arguing immigrants are worse for your way of life. They aren't, but at least you can try and argue that.
This, though? This is just plain *stupid*.
Jesus Christ
That shirt is fucking amazing

#SkillsNotSkin We need more actual female gamers to stand up against this bullshit and show girls that they CAN pursue their online dreams without resulting to cyber prostitution.
Given everything that went down in the 1900s, I never would've guessed that more and more females would resort to sex and sexual appeal... the world we live in is messed up if people actually support this. It's times like these where I am ashamed to be a woman...
Keyboardstalker TF you talking about bruh. Twerking while playing call of duty on stream and not touching games outside of that doesn't sound like a gamer to me lmao.
"We need more actual female gamers to stand up against this bullshit and show girls that they CAN pursue their online dreams without resulting to cyber prostitution."
No. What we need is more male viewers and gamers who don't get bent out of shape over nothing.
This is a non-issue. Please, shut the fuck up.
Probably need to relax bud, smoke a bowl or something
twitch is turning back in to justinTV...
siamiam how so?
justinTV had a similar issue that resulted in its decline.
JustinTV was pretty good though, you had people broadcasting entire seasons of shows for free, what more could you want lol
That sounds amazing
That was actually a huge part of the reason JTV shut down, the constant copyright issues from the swaths of streams of that sort of nature. I miss the fuck outta the entertainment section of JTV, was free cable.

@Hellen Mek white knight, you think that its the websites fault for their lack of dedication to it? They wouldnt be starving if they put effort into their work instead of doing yoga for money. Dont act like they have no choice but to use their bodies either, there are hundreds of female twitch streamers doing amazing without whoring out to viewers.
@Hellen Mek ya ya being an online stripper is ok
@Hellen Mek hell yea finnaly someone agrees
@Hellen Mek there not husslers they paid for fake tits and do squats on camera.

Trainwreck said and did nothing wrong.
Exactly
You can't speak the truth these days - it's too voilent and offensive. Better is to lie.
It's easy to just dismiss Trainwreck's speech as "Oh he's just an incel" but it's not true whatsoever. He's making a very valid point and I applaud him for it.

@William B. we live in a society
guys this "greyzone" is called making making Twitch too much money to tell her to stop.
This video was absolute amazing, hopefully it's gonna go mega-viral

As a cam girl and as a person who enjoys video games, the idea of boobie streamers on twitch has always bothered me. We have plenty of other sites to use to show off our goods. Why should we invade Twitch?
Rii Love because 💰 say otherwise
Because why not? People can choose to not watch them. Simple as that.
because they want the money and dont want to be labeled as a cam girl. win-win
@@sir3543 But it ruins the dynamic of the website. Twitch was meant as a gaming platform, not a platform for wannabe cam girls.

+Willjin Probably because twitch chat and alot of streamers act very childish and immature.
Lol, when have those "18+" restrictions ever worked?

And today on twitch you have girls on "just talk" category sitting on bananas in pools in the room wearing bikini doing nothing. Great content...
You're lowkey one of my favorite youtubers
i think that you worded this very well.
i used to be a cam girl and occasionally stream on twitch so i get both sides of it. thinking as a cam girl, twitch was an easy market and a good way to convert viewers. they watch me game and i throw out my username at the end and where to watch my shows and there you go. there are some girls who stream games on MFC and Chaturbate but the quality is shit and the site doesn’t lend itself to that (there was like 1 girl i saw do this successfully)
on the other hand, it’s frustrating to know that there are people only on the website to watch girls. there are other platforms devoted to that and twitch was never started for that purpose. it was started for gameplay and i think it should enforce the rules with that in mind. i think showing off your body with the intent to get more views is disrespectful to the people watching you and to other people who aren’t comfortable doing that. people should watch you for the gameplay, your personality, and lastly looks.
Do you think it's a good idea that Twitch should start a + 18 catagory for cam girls that want to make money being attractive ?
Frosty Wasp no it shouldn't start that , cuz what's the difference ? kids would still go there
What was your cam name?
BistMastasextyfou and kids can still watch porn if they want. trust me anyone on twitch, kids or not, is gonna view porn if they want to
Frosty Wasp they could. i think it would be wiser for MFC or chaturbate to make their website and streaming support gaming rather than lose out on that market to twitch

You either mean Thatgirltammie or Dolleste, depending on which half of 2:04. Rejoice my friend, for Dolleste's cesspool stream received a ban when she let too much of her... personality slip. One less harlot to infringe on our puritanical prudish way of life. ;-)
Chaturbate = better girls
stfu man..
Anthony Smith you are part of the problem
I feel bad for my real ones out there, the gamer girls actually tryna make a living out there being themselves. My heart goes out to you guys, you the real mvp 😤

3 years ago.... Yet seeing this thumbnail in 2021, I thought there was a new Glink upload.
The Same thing is happening to twitch that happened to Comic-Con etc.
What happened ?
Anyone know which streamer the hip thrusting one in the intro was?
theduckie908
10:00 that aged h o r r i b l y
what else could be expected from a "feminist" half of them have an onlyfans
Glink honestly makes the best videos on topics like these. Most videos like this I see on RUclips are usually covered in bias. Glink is one of the few RUclipsrs that examines and criticizes both sides of the argument and brings something new to the long existing argument. The video topics are always very interesting and he presents the topics in a way that anyone can follow. I love what you're doing, Glink.
Did you get in a fight with a highlighter before you started this video?
2019 and we still have this issue. In fact has gotten worse with “subscription” only videos/shows. Aka. Private shows like cam shows have.
1:03 where is that background music from? Its from any SNES or PS1 game but i cant think of it....
Its from Donkey Kong Country. The Song is Aquatic Ambiance. :)
Hey dude, where'd you get that T shirt? I want one.

That Vampire Weekend record is dope! That man has good taste.

Where can I get that Ekans shirt?
Anyone know the name of the girl at 9:48 ?
“Personality based business”
Yeah. “Personality”. Right.
I recognize the outro, would you provide me with it's source
