The reason why OnlyFans and other lonely bait even exists is because we aren't being educated about what to do when we're lonely from an early age. That would require teachers to stick their neck out for students and be more involved in their personal lives, which isn't going to happen for a number of reasons, but certainly not while their own livelihood is so insecure. Besides, most modern western parents would be deeply uncomfortable with the prospect of their children opening up to their teacher and trusting them enough to share their innermost thoughts with them. That kind of scenario would almost certainly create an awkward situation where teachers will find themselves having to constructively criticise parents on the way they raise their own children, which will definitely result in a great many unhappy parents. There will also be dilemmas such as children sharing information with teachers that even parents are in the dark about. Who is the teacher obligated to prioritise in this scenario? Do they violate the student's trust by sharing their secrets with their parents or are they ultimately performing a service for the parents and are consequently responsible to them? There's no clear answer to this question. Besides, asking more of teachers would exacerbate the need for teaching staff, as demands on teachers are already approaching human limits. If you want them to now manage the emotional lives of their students as well then you'll need to split the work load amongst an ever greater work force of teachers and assistants, as well as retrain educational staff at all levels to accommodate these new priorities.

It's not sad if he's aware of it. It's his choice. To some of them there are some positives from being in onlyfans and negatives from being in a "real" relationship. And it's pretty easy to see why. 1. I have considered one Onlyfans a few times. I'm into elements of BDSM and there's a particular domme I like who doesn't have too much content around for free, and I like her voice. Introvertion doesn’t equate being socially handicapped, nothing is absolute. I’m an introvert, I’m against the monetization of loneliness, but I’m not gonna pretend that my social awkwardness wasn’t my biggest struggle growing up. Being an introvert doesn’t make you socially handicapped, but it makes it HIGHLY likely. Big misunderstanding of introverts. Being shy, and being an introvert are two different things. Being an introvert means you enjoy time alone, because spending time with other people becomes overwhelming and exhausting. Introverts can enjoy socializing a lot, but need alone time to recharge. You shouldn't make a talk about something you do not understand and speak with such authority.
What ur also missing is that no one is truly an introvert or an extrovert because it exists on a spectrum. This is just a way for people to try and “identify” themselves. When you truly know yourself, you wont need titles to associate with.

Problem is, most people that call themselves introverted actually are socially inept/unsuccessful. If you're an introvert, you CHOOSE not to hang out with your friends every day. You CHOOSE to go in your room and close the door instead of having it open, being potentially interrupted by other people. Most actual introverts that didn't dive deeply into it would say they're "somewhere in between". An Introvert still has friends, an Introvert still has romantic pursuits, an Introvert still likes to hang out with people. It's just that an extrovert basically fills all the free time they have with it, whereas an introvert chooses that time very consciously. You're not an introvert if you have no friends, feel lonely, and have nobody to talk about your problems to. You're lonely. Maybe you're a lonely introvert, but you're primarily lonely. I can spend days isolated in a room just with a connection to the internet, even if I was cut off from people I know, but if I had nobody I could talk to, to hang out with when I FELT like it, I would be lonely.

Its because of how their brain responds to dopamine. You can absolutely be an introvert with high social skills/status it just means you may avoid social events because it leaves you feeling exhausted and drained. I'm an introvert and I'll still go to large social events and enjoy them its just that after I need to decompress and recharge. Introverts can and do still enjoy parties its just that they need time to recharge after. Also you can be an introvert who likes throwing parties or being on stage, introvert and extravert aren't always exclusive terms. Your describing someone who is antisocial, and some introverts may be antisocial. You can be a bad introvert if you let that part of your personality negatively effect your life, then it becomes a problem and can lead to becoming antisocial.

I think a more accurate statement is "I think we are monetizing laziness." Onlyfans is the focus of the video, but think about RUclips itself. RUclips promotes channels and videos that upload more frequently, which means the videos that end up on people's radars are vlogs, reddit meme videos, or commentary videos. Meanwhile, people who do animations, video essays, high end video editing get little to no returns simply because the market does not favor those content creators. If you want an example, Pyrocynical. He has stated before that he enjoys making hour long videos talking in depth about movies and video games in a video essay format, but he can't do those because his income is heavily reliant on RUclips and he has to go with what the website favors, which is shorter, 10 minute or so videos churned out frequently. It really is an extreme example of "Work smarter, not harder." I mean, if all you have to do is lose your clothes and take some risque photos, and chat with people to make an income that rivals doctors or lawyers, why not?

Would our society be better without chocolate, or would it be better if we educated people on having healthy relationships with indulgences like porn and chocolate? The History Channel is a much sadder reflection of our society than OnlyFans.

We're continuing to isolate ourselves through the increasing convenience and multitude of ways to get quick fixes through technology and consumption. Rather than build a social safety net, we wait until things get too bad to bear and try and find a way to get a hit, some kind of button we can press or product we can buy to help the feeling for just a little bit more. It's consumption over cultivation - an egirl, an escort, a sports car or a mansion won't be there for you when what you need is a friend or a real partner, and those don't grow on trees, amazon or some kind of streaming website. Happiness isn't something we can buy and consume but a body of work that we build and maintain, and I hope we'll see increased awareness of this in the coming years.

Please consider these factors when judging the antisocial "fans" of these services. It's usually the only option they see sure, some may use it as an excuse not to change anything but for some, it's the only thing they can do to keep going, total isolation can drive people insane and providing themselves with some sort of fix for that is like a fight for their life and motivation. (again not for all but there's a considerable amount of people with these issues.)
What do you think may be a better solution? Accessible therapy? Medication? I have bipolar disorder + anxiety and spent some good years as a shut-in, and those two things (medication mainly) were really what it took to get me going outside and slowly start doing things again. Self diagnosis (which I know is looked down upon) of a particular mental illness you may have is a place to start in the sense that there's a name for it and there have been people who beat it and live happy, fulfilling lives so it's like a small light... I also know there is resistance to admitting you have that kind of problem and a lot of shame involved, but now, being further in my recovery I can see that it's been worth it.

That would require teachers to stick their neck out for students and be more involved in their personal lives, which isn't going to happen for a number of reasons, but certainly not while their own livelihood is so insecure. Besides, most modern western parents would be deeply uncomfortable with the prospect of their children opening up to their teacher and trusting them enough to share their innermost thoughts with them.
That kind of scenario would almost certainly create an awkward situation where teachers will find themselves having to constructively criticise parents on the way they raise their own children, which will definitely result in a great many unhappy parents. There will also be dilemmas such as children sharing information with teachers that even parents are in the dark about. Who is the teacher obligated to prioritise in this scenario? Do they violate the student's trust by sharing their secrets with their parents or are they ultimately performing a service for the parents and are consequently responsible to them? There's no clear answer to this question.
Besides, asking more of teachers would exacerbate the need for teaching staff, as demands on teachers are already approaching human limits. If you want them to now manage the emotional lives of their students as well then you'll need to split the work load amongst an ever greater work force of teachers and assistants, as well as retrain educational staff at all levels to accommodate these new priorities.
This is honestly just depressing. The fact that we are in this situation is just sad

Introverts can and do still enjoy parties its just that they need time to recharge after. I noticed a lot of people in the comments saying things along the lines of, "lonely, attention-starved men" but I think this a two way street that impacts everyone. People, in general, are having trouble finding meaningful relationships and it's because it stems from them having little self-worth. To selfishly declare "I have worth" is something so alien and extraneous to those who don't even understand what their 'good' qualities are.

It's just that being "Socially Unsucessful" is something you don't just change. It's a problem, sometimes assosiated with mental illness, that keeps the person from
seeking real interactions out of irrational fear and anxiety. Please consider these factors when judging the antisocial "fans" of these services. It's usually the only option they see
sure, some may use it as an excuse not to change anything but for some, it's the only thing they can do to keep going, total isolation can drive people insane and providing themselves with some sort of fix for that is like a fight for their life and motivation. (again not for all but there's a considerable amount of people with these issues.)

What do you think may be a better solution? Accessible therapy? Medication? I have bipolar disorder + anxiety and spent some good years as a shut-in, and those two things (medication mainly) were really what it took to get me going outside and slowly start doing things again. Self diagnosis (which I know is looked down upon) of a particular mental illness you may have is a place to start in the sense that there's a name for it and there have been people who beat it and live happy, fulfilling lives so it's like a small light... I also know there is resistance to admitting you have that kind of problem and a lot of shame involved, but now, being further in my recovery I can see that it's been worth it.

I've come to suspect introversion is caused by early childhood conditioning. The reason why socializing is draining and gets old is because all interactions are run through a proxy self, a shell personality. Similar to the false self of the narcissist. The reason for this is of course insulation and control, the cost is fatigue. This is why introverts do not get swept up in the moment, they (we) are watching their lives from the outside.
I know right, they present it like a pathological trait and it's sickening. Introvert now is a synonym for antisocial or isolated. People try to be helpful by making these videos but they end up spreading misinformation
@@Acetyl53 I consider myself as an introvert and emotional recognition, understanding and intelligence have been developed by this aspect thorugh inner reflection. If anything, being an introvert has helped me to find stable and nice relationships with a very few amount of people while also being capable of talking to more people with a different aproach

As a woman, I relate to this, but in the sense of being addicted to romance anime. I pay money to get a dose of not feeling lonely by placing myself in the situation of one of the characters because I’m lonely. I don’t have a partner anymore because he cheated on me, and other men have done similar things before we could even date. I sympathize with these lonely men. We just want companionship without the heartbreak.
Shouldnt we just make an app for matching people like this, I feel like the people who have previously been betrayed loyally would be much less likely to cheat and would probably end up being a better match

Couldn't agree more. My closest friends in life have called me a retard on multiple occasions for doing shit that was incredibly dumb or wrong in hindsight and I cannot be more thankful for having them around.
