A very smart and articulate artist! THE most underrated singer of our times! Not since Aretha or after Whitney have we heard a voice like hers!

I am pissed that Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are often mentioned as the greatest singer, but they do not consider Donna. Whitney and Mariah WERE great, but also damaged their voices. Donna did not. Her voice even improved.

@@sergioampv1640 Donna's voice is more versatile than Whitney's and more versatile than Mariah's. I know some people probably see me post this all the time, but I find it to be true. Not that Whitney or Mariah aren't great singers because they were and are, but Donna often didn't sound the same from one song to the next and that kind of sets her apart for me Whitney and Mariah and many others. I definitely agree that Donna should be on lists of great singers and high up on that list, if not #1. 🙂

Agree with you 100% Disco was disparaged and she was a victim! She could have easily sung opera (without a microphone)

@@sergioampv1640 I have to admit that I saw the list of the top 30 female artist of all time and yes although Whitney Houston was number one as many would probably agree, but I dont agree with the order or how it was conducted. Without any bias from man, an AI robot would have to evaluate all of them to get a much more unbiased time and era, accurate order.

I not only enjoyed listening to Donna Summers great singing voice but I also enjoyed watching her in interviews. She was a very articulate speaker. She was a warm ,humble and loveable person. She was a very admirable person.I admired her devotion to her faith and to God.I would have loved to sit in her Bible studies that she had every week in her home. There is no singer on the face of the earth who I admire more than Donna Summer. She was a beautiful lady.

Donna was so smart & articulate. She answers so honestly. I miss her, her music & spirit in this world. Not to mention her beauty & talent. Wife & mother was it for Donna and as she always said she is just an ordinary girl. (Yeah right) Nothing ordinary about this icon.

Oh how I miss her! She meant the world and thensome to me, and still does, ......she went way too early form us. (like so many others). The best ones always die young and unexpectedly.

Her voice is at once sweet, and soulful, and ethereal. Reverberating in your ears long after she ends a note. So powerful at times she leaves you speechless. Im so happy to have grown up listening to that astounding gift, the sublime Miss Summer. She is sorely missed and never ever forgotten. Pure loveliness!

There was a girl around the time with Donna summer in the 70's to the 90's that was her twin. They were identical. She did the teaser of chips 5 star k boulder party and a couple other things as Donna. Kelly Rowland is ok not a pure lookalike but better then any today. Would love to see this other girl play Donna as Donna mature. Just my input and thought.

@@sonnyman4437 Kelly Rowland is the obvious choice to play the role of Donna. She has the poise, power, and aesthetic to honor her legacy perfectly.
