What a great woman. So humble--so intelligent--so willing to share her gifts.

When she said that if she's able she'll be singing in her 90's it made me cry a little.

She was clever and had a warmth. Listening to her live, she must have had one of the greatest singing voices ever known

If living she would be 72 right now. Oh, Donna, you are a beautiful Angel. Sing to us. We need your charm. I'm glad to have your music in my life. Thank You, ♡

I listen to Donna speaking about her getting older and I can't believe she's gone so soon. I'm speechless. I feel terrible every time I think of her passing. RIP my Angel.

    Not only an incredible voice...always!
What an an amazing person, so miss her, so real and down to earth, I'm sad that we've lost such a great artist, sad that we've missed out on what she would have given us musically as time went on...

I spent endless hours listening to her music in my bedroom way, way back in the 70’s. I had her On The Radio poster on my wall. It’s the cherry on top of the sundae to know what a sweet, kind lady she really is.

A very CLASSY,INTELLIGENT,DECENT LADY WITH A GREAT VOICE. SHE IS GREATLY MISSED. I MISS ANYTHING BEFORE 1985. EVEN NOW SHE WOULD DESTROY ANY FEMALE SINGER OF TODAY INCLUDING MARIAH,HOUSTON,ADELE ETC. DONNA IS A SINGER NOT A SCREAMER. AND SHE SOUNDS THE SAME LIVE AS IN THE ALBUM/CD. SINGERS OF TODAY USE AUTO-TUNE.

Unfortunately, I didn't know much about Donna Summer until after she died but I think she was an amazing singer and an amazing person. I've been binge watching her interviews and I can see that she was a very humble person. It is so obvious how much her fans loved her. She was immensely endeared and it's for good reason!! R.I.P, Donna ♥️💕

One of the 3 best female voices of our lifetime that we've lost, the other 2...Elle Fitzgerald, and Karen Carpenter. Donna was a TRUE African American hero and legend! And unlike Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Madonna, and many other woman singers, these 3 woman could SING in the studio!...not whine or scream.
I still can't believe Donna is gone....i simply cannot believe it.
Thank god she left decades of wonderful music behind.....until we meet again.

I'm still crying about losing her. I would have never finished med school in the 80s without her music to help me. I never wrote to her to tell her that. I am so ashamed. I'm going to put flowers on her grave and tell her how much I loved her. Doc.

Openly gay men made derogatory comments about her use of her intelligence. Those who are alive might deny they used to put her down, but they did. She was young when she got sick. May she rest in peace.
