- Donna Summer is interviewed during dress rehearsal for that night's recording of her TV special LIVE & MORE ENCORE.
Here in Part 2, Donna discusses her first performing job, performing on the road, appreciating new artists, her favorite songs to perform, LIVE & MORE ENCORE!, the differences between filming TV shows and real concerts, and her favorite musical moment.
Also, after the interview, there is B-Roll footage of her fans lining up outside the theater waiting to enter to be part of this exhilarating experience!

In addition to her great talent as a singer and songwriter, Donna Summer had a delightful, fun sense of humor.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful interview of Donna Summer. She was a beautiful woman and a gentle soul. Heaven has another angel in it's choir. RIP Ms. Summer.

Wow! This is a treasure. Just ran into this on RUclips. I was there that night (on line with the glasses in the olive trenchcoat) and it was magic. She is the best - and gave a flawless live performance with "Last Dance" as her only do-over...and they went with the first one in the video anyway. The interview was very frank and very informative. Since the late 70's when i used to DJ at one of the two Bombay discotheques, Donna Summer has remained the eternal QUEEN OF DISCO and made the world dance at her feet with her stunning voice and hit after hit dance tunes. Even today she remains the undisputed DIVA and there is no doubt about this. Still enjoying her dance songs now on You Tube-Darcy Dinshaw. Mumbai

A truly amazing singer, a truly amazing person, and a truly amazing wife and mother. She and Bruce Sudano, her husband, were soul mates and loved each other in marriage for almost 32 years. You catch a glimpse of Bruce as she leaves with him at the end of the interview. He was always there for her! Their collaborations were the BEST both in music and in LIFE!! Rest in Peace, Donna!
