SUPER super, super 💞🤗🤩 Richard, SUPER 💓🤗
Thanks Richard, I really enjoy watching your stuff and admiring your talent. Love your hat but we were taught as kids to take our hats off inside :-) God bless you
Thanks for showing the process. Love to watch you paint.
I absolutely love seeing your process front to end and really appreciate seeing your palette whilst you work. Thank you for the walk/talk through.
I like your right hand, which by its presence helps to create)))))
I also want to learn how to draw! This is a delight !!!
Soooo very very beautiful 💞💯🎨🎨🎨
Very very beautiful
Hey thank you Keywan!!!
Bugger, he’s back !! I’ll have to watch and leave my toast burning in the toaster, lol.
Good stuff. Cheers Richard you beauty. A talented man. 👍
Lol! Thanks Hartley!!! :-)
Amazing work 🎨
Thank you so much 😀
So much fun watching you work! Thank you for your excellent teaching also. I’m learning a ton and I’m grateful!
I get real pleasure when you do the close up camera work, and I can see how you build up the colours on your palette knife. Wonderful stuff, and a unique style.
Hello Richard. Thanks to the variety of your green colors, we can see the extent of this hilly meadow under the morning mist. Beautiful spectacle of this countryside as far as the eye can see : it's a rest for the eyes ! And I add that, whatever landscapes you offer us, I never tire of watching you and hearing you explain your color mixtures and your comments throughout your work. Many thanks
The colour palette and subtlety of application is fab! Definitely one of my favourites! Thanks Richard. 👍
Hello Richard,as always it is a pleasure to admire your paintings full of color and great pictorial strength
Idyllic springs to mind. I love the way you have pulled the eye slowly to the midsection and then to the far distance, which at that point expands the euphoric scene, horizontally.... magical light. Thank you Richard.
Love your explanation! Thanks Jackie!!!
Beautiful light and color!!!
Thank you! Jackie, cheers!
Love your work!
Hi Richard, thank for another interesting video 👍😊
Very welcome Ray, thanks mate!!!
It will be healing, Your painting is the best~!
How beautiful Richard… 😊
Great job - love watching you paint!
Thank you so much. OKC OK here👍💕
Magnifico!@@!!!
Beautiful.....and please, keep enchanting us, good sir.
Truly wonderful talent.
God bless. ❤
Wow....this is so good. Extremely well done Richard. Beautiful color harmony and richness. Love it.
Great piece a pleasure to watch you work and the combination of your marks and colors have shown tonal differences in the completed piece very well. Thank You
What a beautiful property. Thanks for all the film of the gorgeous animals. I always struggle to make a good painting of a view that is so lovely but you have nailed it. Your painting is magic👍🏼
Hi Richard. What an adventure! Your painting reminds me of a beautiful opal filled with hidden treasures of color. The more you look, the more you find and together it is just radiant!
Hello Richard!!!! Perfect harmony of colors and trasparencies, which make the landscape and unique......with that atmosphere that unites..... ciao and thank you 👍🎨
Thank you so much Stefania 😀
Beautiful colours 😍
Thank you! 😊
Wonderfully done, sir. 👍
your painting has come alive, and the skill is knowing where to put and not to put, you are very good with this skill which can't be taught, it makes you stand out from the masses as an outstanding artist, especially with your unique style, , well done, another great painting! I have been in bed with flu so have just got around to watching your new video, much appreciated !
I love this - suggestions of shape and lovely colours. Particularly like the contrast of red/brown dark left of centre. My landscapes are on the abstract side and of vast, bleak hills with very few trees . I struggle with foregrounds. Adding suggestions of fence posts or walls makes it too 'pretty'. Wish I had your talent. Thanks again Richard. Brilliant!
Ämazing. I am learning allot from you
Greetings, Richard. - What a beautiful painting, once again. Looks like a little piece of paradise lying there in the morning light like a precious gemstone, beautiful colours and I like that cadmium green, too. The sky also looks fantastic. There is absolutely no need to get more specific with the landscape, your palette knife has done all that was needed to capture the overall impression. The rest is left to the imagination of the viewer. - By the way, what's wrong with talking to yourself once in a while? - Thank you for sharing, Richard, bless you.
G'day Cora, I really appreciate you fantastic feedback! Cheers :-)
And I always talk to myself when I draw))) Or a picture?))))
Haha what a start.
Looking forward to this mate!
Fantastic!!!!!!!!
Saludos de una colega, desde Puerto Rico. Me encanta pintar la Naturaleza y mi técnica preferida es la espátula. Excelente trabajo y hermoso lugar. Bendiciones.
One of your best paintings.
Wow, thank you Thomas!
Your work is inspirational, salute!
I appreciate that!
Gidday my friend, what a magical scene to capture with your trusty knives. Simplicity is the essence of early morning light, too much detail overwhelms the feel and emotional values you are capturing. What magical colours yellow ochre and magenta are. Another masterclass in tone, colour and light. Love the distant shy hills with their pastel blue and mauve tones, conflicting with the audacious greens of the foreground, creating depth. Inspiring and much learning once again mate. Cheers, Rich
Thanks for constant sharing Richard. I am just about to start a large painting, need just to get some marks down to get rid of the white canvas.
You can do it Peter! Happy painting!!!
Excellent work Richard!
Thank you Jeff! Cheers!
Like the painting process you shared.
Like the way you painting...
Thank you very much!
Hi Richard,
I relate to the rural scene as New Zealand has this in abundance. We dont have the brilliant outback colours you have in Australia which I love,. Was impressed by the introduction of the cad green effect in both the sunlight on the grass, and also the foreground area in the shade. It showed me an area and effect I may just be missing in my paintings of my rural scenes here in NZ. Many thanks, another brilliant painting. Bill
Hey G'day Bill, Yes, that cad green is great! Keying down the foreground into shadow really lets the green pop!!!
Quite lovely ,this one. The colors are beautiful. You really captured the morning sunlight and mist.
Glad you enjoyed it Donna, thanks!!!
Hola Ricardo, paso horas viendo tus fantásticas pinturas y la facilidad y rapidez con que llegas al color que necesitas.
I hear artist struggle with green but you make work so well. Love it keep it up mate
What an amazing painting! Love your comment about viewers "seeing what develops" and that you're doing the same thing! Would you mind sharing the reference photo or plein air study? Thank you for sharing you confident process here and in all your videos - super-inspiring!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
You're most welcome!
Richard ficou incrível...
Ei, muito obrigado !!!
I was pleasantly surprised with the result Richard, as you said it’s very different to what you normally paint, but I very much like the finished painting.
Fantastic, thanks!!!
Wow this is the first time I have ever watched someone paint with a palette knife like that apart from Ahn Doh. It was mesmerising. I would love to have a go at that one day. As you said the finished work was all about the knife strokes and application, yet from the distance it is a beautiful scene of countrylight. Something I could look at for hours. Have subscribed.
Hey cheers Jen, glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the sub!!! :-)
You should watch some more of his videos. Lots of great plane air painting.
just to chip in Jen -' you would love to have a go at that one day ' I would say Sooner rather than later, Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY !
Peace.
And yet another great rendition. However I still think, for me, that Your Bushman (self portrait) painting and your Boots painting are still in Pole position.
And for any body that hasn't seen it, The close up work of your mark making, in the Bushman painting is, in my view, beyomd matchless!
Stay strong, Stay Safe.
Peace.
Bela tela em óleo. Obrigado pelas dicas. Brasil
What a gorgeous painting - so dynamic! Love watching your process, too. What size canvas are you painting on here? Thanks!
Pleasure to watch it all! Fantastic painting, sir! So beautiful! I love it. Btw. You don't have to worry about "happy accidents" at all, because you know exactly what you're doing! Great job! Greetings from the EU!
Hey many thanks Harry!!! Cheers for watching mate :-)
@@richardmusgrave-evans9886 Have a nice day! Thank you!
@@harryjamessmithmusic7762 Thanks, you too!!!
@@richardmusgrave-evans9886 Cheers!
Where do you come from ?
USA ? Australia ? Ireland ??
I Like landscapes you show.
Thank you a lot ! 👍🌞🌈
I have been watching you paint. Really love your style. I am wondering are you looking at a picture ? Or is this just off the top of your head. ? For me it’s hard for me to see how you start and place your beginning colors as I can’t see your reference to compare and understand.
I should ask - for these gorgeous large paintings, do you first do a smaller study, and paint using that as a reference?
Sometimes, but not this one!
Great as usual Richard. I've always wanted to ask you: where do you get your hats? I really like them but I don't know if we have anything like them in the U.S.
Thanks Ray! My hats are made by Akubra, an Australian brand!!! Cheers :-)
😱🔥👏👌🏽
What the name of oil colour that you painting.I like your ultramarine blue and Magenta .
Is that a wooden pallet
5mm marine plywood!
Paint the moment do not make a photo.
Exactly!!!
