  • A near perfect roller coaster is rare, but what makes those elite rides so good? I'll break down some categories that make your "perfect" roller coasters the world class attractions they are. If you could design that perfect amusement park ride, what category would be the most dominate for you- let me know in the comments!

    What's your "perfect" coaster?

      Iron Gwazi

      As I said: there's no such thing, but from the top 2 I've ridden: SteVe; Fury 325; but I've not yet ridden The Voyage or Velocicoaster which I'm guessing may be as good or even better.

      Velocicoaster! I prefer fury to velocicoaster because of the sense of speed, but I don’t think fury is as “perfect” because of some moments in the second half. Velocicoaster just does everything really well.

    Nice to see Iron Rattler getting some love

    In my opinion I love coasters with the most powerful ejector airtime you can find, el toro and skyrush have to be the best in the world in my opinion just based on the power and intensity of the airtime and the intensity of the rest of the ride

      I love that! Yes El Toro is one of my favorites too and I can’t wait to ride Skyrush this summer

    A coaster is perfect if it’s named “Iron Gwazi”

    There is no such thing as a perfect roller coaster. If there was: there'd be no point in making them.

    • @AirtimeProductions
      @AirtimeProductions  12 дней назад +3

      That’s exactly true! Because everyone has different tastes

    • @Paolo8772
      @Paolo8772 12 дней назад +2

      @@AirtimeProductions The fact that everyone has different tastes is true, but coasters are also improving. But the statement can still stand on its own: that no perfect coaster exists; the closest thing to a "perfect coaster" (whatever that is) could always be improved on. "The Beast" was considered to be the "perfect coaster" by many when it opened in 1979.

      Perfect can come in many different forms and what is mid to others is god tier to others.

  • @kennethgustavison1812
    @kennethgustavison1812 11 дней назад +1

    A perfect ride must be at least 4,000 feet of track; a wooden coaster or steel coaster without inversions must have at least 10 airtime hills and 15 seconds of airtime; and a steel coaster with inversions must have at least 6 various inversions. Anything less and the ride is meh.😉

    • @AirtimeProductions
      @AirtimeProductions  11 дней назад

      Those are some pretty solid standards! Those kinda align with what I look for

    • @kennethgustavison1812
      @kennethgustavison1812 11 дней назад +3

      @@AirtimeProductions It was a bit of a thoosie joke - exaggeration of the qualities I look for in a solid ride. I will say the new popularity of nonstop twisties and throw-the-riders-out-sideways hills seem to be overdone the last few years. The inverted stall that RMC has popularized on their recent coasters should be used on more steel coasters. It seems to be catching on lately and praised by most riders.

    • @AirtimeProductions
      @AirtimeProductions  11 дней назад +1

      @kennethgustavison1812 oh okay I get it! I agree with the lateral airtime statement and the quick succession of airtime most of the time! You see that on Iron Gwazi but it works well especially with that waveturn

    • @calvinpetty343
      @calvinpetty343 11 дней назад +1

      Me personally, it must be at least 3 minutes prime ride time, 8000+ track length, 30 different airtime moments and 60 seconds of airtime. The ride must pull at least 6 Gs and at least -2 Gs or else it is boring 🥱. Also any vibration whatsoever and any dead spots whatsoever and any restraint that isn’t B&M clamshells also makes the ride a piece of garbage 🤬🤬🤬
