    People aren't saying what year their engine is. Where mine is a 2010 torque specs are different than these shown.

    Had to come back here, knew something want right. You didn't loosen 180 degrees TWICE. Also didn't tighten 90 degrees TWICE at end. Sorry.

    I’m putting head studs in my EJ right now, just doing a final clean up and putting everything together. Let’s hope it’s the same process.

    29ftlbs, 71ftlbs, back of 180deg, back off another 180deg, 7.4ftlbs, 22ftlbs, 52ftlbs, 80deg, 40deg then 40deg two middle bolts only. 10 rediculous steps.lol

    When you back them out aren't you supposed to losen them in reverse order? Or does it matter

    I work with a dude and he came from a subbie dealership and said they always just tighten like the arp bolts . 30-60-90 ft lbs ... We're gonna find out lol he would also do like 4-5 engines a week

      Confirmed .. arp torque specs worked on bolts .. no issues .

    What size hardware do you use to mount the motor to the stand??
